I think the picture he saw was Ria but I don't think he sees Ria in Roshni. Because I remember in last Saturday's episode he said I hate you Ragini for bringing back my past.

He is hiding behing mask fr sure and his character is somewhat similar to that of vidya balan in Bhool bhulaiyya I feel
