Why is Noori getting married??

I actually despise how they have made the SP's character; i don't really find much depth to his character apart from an over-controlling father whose wife died so he deals with it by taking away his daughters freedom and controlling every aspect of her life and hating on middle-class people. His character is too extremely obnoxious to be realistic. His hatred for arjun is unjustified unlike shanks, as well as that horrid bua of arjun who only humiliates and taunts him because he is adopted. Who would treat their brother's son like that just for being adopted? She acts like he's ruined her brother's life. Too many of the characters in this show are made to be extreme.

Well he is obnoxious for hating Arjun!! I agree with you there!! But we don't really know why he is that way?? It could be related to his wife's death or he is just an A-hole!! It's better we avoid discussing about bua!! But like I had pointed out in a thread elsewhere Noori has allowed her father to control her life. If she had stayed away from Arjun like her father had asked her to then she wouldn't even had to marry Shan. Which is why I said Arjun isn't the only guy in town and there are many other things she can do with her life besides hunting for a husband. Her first goal should have been getting her freedom and now she is going to lose it completely. Spoiler said that she's doing it to save Arjun's life right?? If she had stayed away from Arjun then the SP wouldn't have hated him to begin with and then later force her into an unwanted marriage.
