Probably the one of the few celebrity, philantrophist, humanitarian that I looked upto has died due to renal failure at the age of 88. Hes been fighting it all alone against, cruelty, injustice, prejudice, greed long before there was Humans of New York or The Logical Indian and many others. Dude lived a very humble and simple life and worked tirelessly for the the greater good of humanity.

RIP. Your fight is over. You have done well.

Until a decade ago I didnt know him also that well. But I kept tabs on him from time to time. he did not disappont, did not waiver, did not falter. Had tons of chances to give it all up and live a luxurious life but didnt. Even on his death he turned down treatment abroad. Basically got a lot more done than many governments. And all behind the shadows without seeking glory. Even past 80 he was walking on street and feeding the poor with his bare hands.
