Chapter 10
"Hello, bhabhi!" Shivam greeted taani next morning when she went in living area. Taani ignored him and turned to her mother-in-law.
"Maa, I am going to hospital for Rihaan's vaccination." Taani informed her.
"Okay, beta!" Ragini smiled at her.
"Bhabhi, I will drop you." Shivam volunteered, smiling cunningly as he let his lustful gaze roam over her figure which made her uncomfortable.
"There is no need for that, Shivam. I am going with my wife." Came a voice from behind, taani smiled in relief seeing her husband standing there with little Rihaan in his arms.
"Oh! Thats alright then." Shivam muttered, his expressions fallen but he covered it up with a forced smile.
"Lets go, taani." Rey said to his wife who nodded in return and then both left from there.
"I will be back in a while." Ragini excused herself and went in kitchen, leaving subhadra devi and shivam behind.
"Shivam, what happened to your plan of degrading her in rey's eyes? You said, two days and she will be out of Rey's life." Subhadra devi questioned her grandson.
"Dadi, have some patience. She is little hard nut to crack, but don't worry. We will take revenge of your insult and throw her out of this house." Shivam assured his grandmother.
"I want this girl out. Because of her Rey insulted me many times, Ranvijay asked me to leave this house. I can not forget that." Subhadra devi fumed in anger remembering he insults she has faced in the house and she wants revenge for everything thus she is here with her grandson.

"How about we go out for lunch?" Rey asked her. They were on their way to back home from the hospital. Little Rihaan was sleeping in his car seat comfortably.
"Thats fine with me. But let me inform maa first." Taani replied. She took out her cell phone and informed her mother-in-law about their lunch plan.
Rey slide his hand in hers and held it as he drove away to their favorite restro.
"You are looking beautiful in saree. You should wear them more often." Rey murmured in soft tone, glancing at her. Today she has worn a simple yet elegant saree, looking no less than any angel to him.
Taani felt her cheeks warming up at his compliment. She still wasn't used to it. Every time he would say something romantic or compliment her, she turns red as cherry. She was still adjusting to the new phase of her life.
"Rey!"
"Yes, sweetheart." He replied ever so lovingly.
Her eyes widen. Did he just addressed her as sweetheart? She couldn't help but wonder.
"Hows everything at work? I heard from dad that you have to go Australia for a week-" Taani asked him trying hard to not to show her sadness. Sometimes she hate his business trips more than anything. They have become like her sautans.
"Everything is good. And about Australia trip, i won't go if that makes my wife sad." Rey replied with a small smile.
"No! Thats alright. I don't want you to compromise with your work because of me." Taani told him.
"But asking for your husband's time is not wrong either. And ever since we have got married, i have been on so many business trip. I think i need to reduce them." Rey answered her back and on that, she has to agree.
"If only it doesn't affect work." Taani said him.
"Yes, ma'am." Rey chuckled. He threw his arm around her shoulder and pulled her in side hug.
