Hello, Could someone please give me the update to this story. i used to watch it when drashti was there and then stopped...who are these kids (Raja and Rani) and what happened in their childhood...i am watching from last two weeks and loving the show but dont know the story. i would really appreciate if someone can give me the storyline

Rani Gayatri and Ranaji were killed by Badi Rani Maa's jungle "son" Kaal who then became king of Amerkot. Raja is his son and Rani is RaGa's daughter. Rajmata escaped with the baby and Lakhan. She named the baby Gayatri and Lakhan called her Rani. They raised her together in a village near the palace. When she was about seven years old she started working at the palace to save money for Raj Mata's tuberculosis treatment. Rani and Raja became friends. Badi Rani Maa didn't know that Rani was Gayatri's daughter as Kunwarji told her he had killed the baby and Raj Mata. However she didn't like Rani's good influence on Raja so she created some circumstances to separate them and make Raja hate Rani. In the mean time she also had Lakhan killed but as a child Rani blamed herself for that because she broke a maun vrat Lakhan asked her to swear while trying to clear things up with Raja. Raja was sent to a hostel and grew to hate his father. Rani and Raj Mata moved away from the village. Twelve years later they meet again at college. No one including Rani herself knows the truth about who her parents were. Hope that helps.
