therefore his perfect match is someone who is a good human being without having a linage to fall back on. Anika is an orphan. but she is in noway less than Shivaay.

so this brings us to the other two brother's flaws.

Rudra: he is a guy who values outer beauty so he falling in love with a wall flower like girl is a given.

Omkara is a honest person. so honest that it ends up as an extreme case like Shivaay's ego for being an oberoi. like his dadi said, being too honest in this world is asking for trouble. at a level one needs to lie a little. it may be to help someone or maybe hide a truth to save someone from being hurt. He is an Oberoi hence he never had to toil for survival hence he wouldn't know how hard it must be for someone poor to survive without lying.

hence i hope he falls in love with a girl(Twinkle Patel from spoilers) who has learned to survive in this world by hook or crook. i know i am asking for something extreme. but if Omkara falls in love with an angel then it'll just be a typical story. he has a lot of potential and i would love it if they did something ground breaking with his love story. i am in no way saying that his girl should be a bad person at heart. i just want her to be someone who knows how to survive.

I TOTALLY AGREE! I was thinking this too when daadi brought up Omkara's flaw and my first thought was 'OMG what if he falls for a con artist!' Because think about it! It's the PERFECT set up. A girl who has had to learn to survive on her own, by lies and cheating, but who has SUCH a zest for living that she never gives up. She does whatever she can to survive and see more of what this world has to offer! She would be the perfect foil for Omkara's upstanding and just attitude. And then of course the inevitable angst when he finds out her truth! I totally agree with this speculation because it would make for the perfect story.

in fact i was wondering, may be the whole point of showing Anika's little sister who apparently died young could very well be Omkara's love interest. some one who was seperated from her family and had to learn to survive as a lone girl amongst the worst ind of people. not a damsel in distress but someone who knows how to handle people.

in fact i wouldn't mind her to have a tom boy like personality. or her cross dressing as a boy.

PS: i realized that some sources say that Rudra is Tej's illegimate child. if that's the case, i wonder if Omkara would come to know about it first and keep quite and lie to everyone where he realises lying is not always bad. also Shivaay when knows the truth will still not give up on Rudra where he proves that feelings matter t him more then name.

also this tells how rudra is involved in this race for the "throne" :p

Shvetlana being his mom wants him to be the heir and hence destroys the already unstable dynamics in the family.

Again yes! This is exactly what I was thinking as well!
