PART 10

Days passed with Raman Ishita becoming more comfortable with each other. One such day,

Raman - Maa where is Ruhi.

Toshiji - Puttar even I am searching for her. She didn't had anything from morning.

Raman got angry as well as concerned for Ruhi. He could take anything but not this careless attitude when it comes to Ruhi. He immediately closed his laptop, together they moved out to find Ruhi. As soon as they entered Ishita's room smile came on their faces. They stop and heard their conversation, Ishita Ruhi were talking, completely unaware of surrounding.

Ruhi - Aunty I don't want to drink this milk. I don't like its taste. Please

Ishita - But betu you should drink this every day. Warna ap strong kaise hoge.

Ruhi - But main toh pehle se hi strong hoon.

Ishita - Yes you are. But now as Ruhi is growing, she needs extra energy.

Ruhi kept glass on table and stood in front of Ishita.

Ruhi - Aunty shaadi kya hoti hai.

Ishita - Shaadi

She took Ruhi in her lap and spoke again- Shaadi kyu achanak

Ruhi - Oho Aunty batiye na. I watched that in a movie yesterday night.

Ishita smiled - Shaadi .. Hmm.. shaadi . It's a friendship of lifetime between two people. When two people are bonded in a relation of lifetime, they promise to be others best friend no matter what happens. That's marriage.

Ruhi- Aunty that's means it's important to have friendship.

Ishita - Off course. Har rishte mein dosti ka hona zaroori hai.

Ruhi - Then I will marry papa. He is my best friend na.

Ishita smiled at her innocence -Ruhi ki shaadi. Is chotu se angel ki shaadi.

Ruhi - Aunty I will look beautiful on my wedding

Ishiat - But you are our angel. Angels are born beautiful.

Ruhi - lekin I m not good that's why I don't have mumma.

Raman Ishita both had tears in their eyes hearing that.

Ishita embraced her in arms keeping her close to her- No baby our ruhi is the best. You know why?

Ruhi looked at her innocently while Ishita continued- Because you have papa, who loves you unconditionally. His life resides in you. He loves you both as mumma and papa. Acha tell me one thing do your friends have father like him who cannot see a single tear in his angel eyes.

She wiped her teary eyes kissing her forehead- Aur dadi who fulfils all your demand. Who makes yummy dishes for ruhi. Now tell me aren't you lucky to have papa and dadi.

Ruhi - Yes I m luckiest. But you forgot one thing. Now I have you too.

She looked at her lovingly and kissed her cheeks- Enough of this talk first complete your milk then we will talk.

Ruhi - Aunty you just fed me paratha. My stomach is full.

Ishita pouted and pressed her stomach tickling her-Lekin yahan toh jahan hai.

She tickled her again- Mera shaitaan bacha. No more drama. Complete your milk.

Ruhi started drinking while Ishita was caressing her hairs. Raman and toshiji were watching all this.

Toshiji- Now I don't find this family incomplete . Ab yeh parivaar adhura nahi lagta.

She pressed his shoulder and left. Raman was staring them with tears in his eyes.

Raman went from there and sat on a bench. Toshiji words were ringing in his ears. He closed his eyes and first thing he saw was Ishita's face. Involuntarily a smile came on his face. Next he got glimpse of his naughty Ishita irritating him to hell in college, how he use to tease her, her innocent smile, Ruhi Ishita with each other and then Toshiji talk.

He opened his eyes surprised at his own thoughts, confused at his behavior, how now a day's his heart crave for a glimpse of Ishita, how her mere thoughts brings a silly smile on his face . Was she the only girl who could bring light in his dark world again?

In the evening, Raman had to go to his site to sign his final deal papers. It was an hour drive and on Ruhi insistence Ishita went along with him. They completed their work and were returning back.

Ishita - Raman your work completed. Finally deal sign ho gayi.

Raman - Hmm tomorrow we will be leaving. Are you coming with us?

Ishita - No will stay here for 1 more day then I will go Chennai directly from here.

Raman stopped his car with a jerk- That means you are going back. But you were to come Delhi for your conference.

Ishita - Yah but I am not attending that. Amma ka phone aaya tha, she is calling me there. So I talked to Dr Batra and he is okay of me not attending the final part.

He looked at her while she was looking away, sadness clearly visible in her eyes.

He started driving again and stopped his car near a small place, around km away from camp.

Raman -Come down

Ishita - Raman what are you doing

Raman - You trust me then come down.

He opened his side door, traveled to other side and opened her door extending his hand.

Ishita smiled and placed her hand on his.

She stepped out with a smile on her face - Raman what's going in your mind

Raman - Nothing. I felt like dancing. So Dr Ishita Iyer May I have the pleasure to dance with you.

Ishita eyes widened - Now Here

Raman - Yes

Ishita - No music

Raman - Why to fear when I m here.
He switched on music in his car and increased its sound. Suddenly it started raining. Ishita turned back to sit in the car but Raman held her wrist.

Raman - Tum kab se barish se darne lagi

mera koi mol na
bolna mahi bol na
bolna maahi bol na

even on trying to remove,

Ishita smiled while he again extended his hand towards her. She kept her hand on his and he pulled her towards him. His hands on her waist while her hand on his shoulders.

They were moving in synchronization with music swaying there body together. Next she bended her neck backwards while Raman nuzzled her neck rubbing his nose on her most sensitive spot.

With each beat of music they were melting in each other arms. He turned her around with her back touching his chest.

She took a step forward but he pulled her back tightening his grip around her waist. Chill ran through her spine, she was feeling heavenly in his arms.

He turned her around and cupped her face caressing her cheek with his thumb while she closed her eyes lost in his touches.

Both were getting wet standing in rain, with their body seeking each other warmth. Raman was staring at her smiling, lost in the beauty of pure soul in front of him. He wanted to close the distance between them that's when a sound of lightening made Ishita opened her eyes. She realized their position and moved back, looking down adjusting her saree.

Ishita - It's getting late. I should go. Good night

She pushed him a little and walked out from there. He was looking at her going away from him.
Ishita ran from there and locked herself in her room.

She broke down hugging appa picture - Appa why is this happening. Please I can't feel this again. This is wrong. Help me appa. Please

On the other side Raman wanted to talk to Ishita but as it was late and thinking her to be tired, he left with the hope of talking to her next morning.

Next day Raman was searching for Ishita but there was no trace of her. He was restless when he found almeida talking to Toshiji,arguing on something.

Toshiji - Oyye khote. Tell me who cooked food today

Almeida - Oh. That it's been cooked our chef from England. You know he is best of all.

Toshiji - Best nahi. It was worse. Yeh khana hai. Na namak na Mirchi

Almeida - Madam he is my near cousin. My father second wife nephew.

Toshiji - Wah wah.. Kya rishta hai

They were arguing when Raman came from behind.

Raman - Mr almeida do know about Dr Ishita

Almeida - Yes. I know her from 3 years.

Raman - I mean today did you saw her today.

Almeida - Oh today yah she has gone to nearby lake. I saw her in morning.

Raman - Okay

He left leaving toshiji almeida behind continuing their talk.

Near the lake, Raman saw Ishita standing resting her weight on railing. She was wearing a thin baby pink saree, with her hairs open, rubbing her hands on arms feeling cold.

Raman moved towards her - Yeh ladki puri pagal hai.
He removed his court and wrapped it around her shoulders.

Raman - You want to get sick.
She came out of her thoughts and turned towards him.

Ishita - I forgot to carry shawl. I m okay. I m not that weak.

Raman - Ishita Mujhe kuch kehna hai. Woh kal. I wanted to say there itself but then you walked away. Woh Ishita

She interrupted him in between. - Ek min Raman. Let me speak first. May be after that you won't have anything to say.

She turned, with her back facing him.

Raman - Bolo Ishita

Ishita wiped her tears, taking a deep breath she spoke - I m getting engaged next month.
