The way i keep cursing Indian tv for going down the drain n how i started a few Indian comeback soaps of my once upon a time Indian fav tv actors actresses but had been forced to quit given how crap they r from the starting or how crap they turn out to b after a month n how now I hv completely migrated to pak drama industry

The SAME WAY BOLLYWOOD IS GOING ONE NOTCH HIGHER N HIGHER EVERY WEEK EVERY MONTH EVERY YEAR

Last 3 to 4 years the AMAZING DIVERSITY of films Bollywood offered I m LITERALLY out of words

They have really made it seem like SKY IS THE LIMIT and they r almost touching it

I watched airlift and wazir last wk

Neerja n bajirao last month

And today FINALLY I watched kapoor and sons

GOD THEY WERE UNBELIEVABLY GOOD

I knew airlift and bajirao will be good but I was shocked seeing kapoor n sons today

It WAS SO GOOD

It's a family film but still the way the relationships and conflicts n bonding has been shown I HAVE NOT SEEN IN ANY MOVIE EVER

I watched it for fawad but after watching each and every charcter became my favourite

It felt like i was also becoming a part of it and wanted things to fall in place in the end SO BADLY

so much speculation has been done for fawad being gay but the FILM WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT...I don't know why the gay quotient was sooo overhyped whereas it was shown so aesthetically n nothing over the top for which people had been bashing fawad

Whereas the movie had so many subplots twists n turns...I never saw such an EVENTFUL FAMILY DRAMA with not a single bad scene bad language or vulgarity

FAWAD IS REALLY LUCKY I MUST SAY

he is getting good projects in bolly for which he doesn't even have to go out of his comfort zone n yet get the name n fame

What he achieved is what every pak actor can just dream of

Kapoor and Sons is one of the best Bollywood movies. Like you said, there is so much going on the movie and it really takes you on an emotinal ride. And you really start to feel a part of it.

The reason I really it is the way they handled Fawad's character being gay. They have not uses his character being gay as his definition, there is so much more the character then being gay. And I love the subtlety they have deatl this issue with. It's not the most important thing and they don't stereotype the him, or make everything over the top for him. He is gay and that's that. And the inner conflict within him is so real! And so Indian. I am sure people face it here all the time. Fawad does such a beautiful job with his character.

Another actor who stood was obviously Rishi Kapoor. Such a great acting and such a quirky character!!

Love the movie so much! The movie makes you laugh, cry at the same time. And you really don't want it to end, and it's kinda sad that everything isn't resolved in the end, but then again that's realistic. They all have accepted each other, but there is a long way to go before they are comfortable with each other!

Agree with EACH AND EVERY WORD ABOVE

hell yes this movie has amazing repeat value

And the screenplay scenes dialogues r so so soo good different refreshing

Casting has been perfect for ever charcter

And FAWAD was stupendous as rahul

I m eternally thankful to the heroes who rejected it coz I CAN'T IMAGINE anyone else in fawads place
