My WL got raised for opening up a Salman topic.
But it was trashed and I can't open topics. Not that
I care. I have posted to much crap on this forum
anyway. 😳 😉

Is it possible for you guys to rename the "Bollywood section problem users"into something else like deleted posts section? Posts may be deleted for a number of reasons, sometimes as part of a thread cleanup, other times it is simply better to take it down but it does not necessarily mean that it was made by one who is a "problem user".

I do not think it is appropriate to tag users as problem users, we can certainly do better with slight language alteration terms that is not demeaning to the general public. That way it comes off less condescending. I think for the most part the forum is well behaved and we are not some school kids, or some criminals, or some terrorists on FBI watch list. How would you guys feel if we term you "Problem Moderators" or "Problem Adminstrators"? 🤔

We've asked multiple times that members PM us regarding their concerns with respect to moderation, however it seems like there is some misconceptions about our reasons behind this request. Some of us here seem to be under the impression that this request by the DT is an attempt to cover up some unfair/biased decisions or that this is somehow our attempt at a "cloak and dagger" moderation system.

Please allow us this moment to clarify all said misconceptions.

ANY requests for confidentiality or attempts towards it are NOT for our benefit but rather for YOURS. The DT chooses to discuss any moderation issues in PRIVATE and only with the persons involved because we do not feel it fair to:

1. Air someone else's dirty laundry in public which may or may not lead to them being ostracized or embarrassed on an open forum

2. Divert discussion in the BW forum towards issue related to individual members and away from BW related news/topics.

However since members in this thread are so ADAMANT that the DT is unfair, that we work to sabotage them and that the ONLY way to a fair response is if it is done in the open, we oblige.

Since you've mentioned several times in this thread that you were unaware of WHAT post was even moved (which begs the question, how would you know if it was or was not inappropriate..) we ask that you direct your attention towards the following post:

Your post was moved to RCV because it was patronizing, self righteous and bordering on a personal attack. Just because a member does not agree with your opinion or POV does not make them "ignorant" or allow you to assume that they are less informed in an issue than you are. People with an equal level of wisdom/knowledge can still CHOOSE to have different POVs and that is no way a reflection on their intelligence. In your grievance with us you stated that you were unaware of why your WL was raised and you were under the impression that it was raised for being a Salman fan who spoke against Salman Khan. We would like to clarify that your WL was raised for mocking/targeting fans in the following posts as opposed to "for discussing Salman Khan":

There r many points we can point out on that thread like 1. the whole thread was dedicated to salman fans yet we were decent

The above mentioned posts are just a handful of examples of the inappropriate nature of your posts. The WL was raised due to an extended and pervasive pattern of persistent mocking of fans/fan groups and targeting of individual fans in your discussions throughout the BW forum.

And lastly, for those members claiming that only their WL was raised or that someone else's wasn't for a similar/worse offense, please feel free to PM us with PROOF of said bias and we'll redirect this matter to the highest level of the DT, until such time that you feel convinced. We are not sure how you would be aware of any action taken or not taken by the DT towards other members since the DT are never ones to discuss any such issues out in public. But if your accusations are based on statements made by other members then we would require proof that goes beyond just words before you decide to attack the DT in an open forum for being biased. Anyone can say anything, yourself included, but if people had the power of making things happen just by saying so, then this world would be a very different place. So please, feel absolutely welcome to PM us with any screenshots/verifiable proof and we'll look into this matter with you until you're content.

We hope some concerns have been placated and should anyone require any additional clarification from the DT, as always, please feel free to PM us. And please note that if you indulge in attacks/insults towards individual DT members or the DT as a whole in your PM, that your PM will be unanswered. We are entitled to the same level of respect as everyone else on this forum and are under no obligation to respond to demands of help cloaked in a plethora of insults.
