I personally liked today's episode, particularly viplav's concern as well as showing his authority over dhaani.
Dhaani was her typical self... The ones we had seen before... Someone who refuses to trust people on face value.
Barring that... Today's episode was a total no no editing wise... The editing sequence were disconnected. We suddenly see Viplav screaming at dhaani... And the next moment... They r outside the hospital. Viplav and dhaani hide... But Viplav can be seen.. Kamal hai logon ko Nahin dikha woh...

So to me .. Today's episodes greatest villian was the editing.

Maybe editing was bad but that's not new in our show.. Seen it in so many episodes. Found today episode has no purpose at All. All the actors didnt know what to do/express...here is our dhani who got shot and had an operation, looked like she is ready to enter beauty pageant and starts running to save their life from riot??? Yeah you are right editing at its worst.. No continuity whatsoever.. We had Km scene, which is a must nowadays. Then you have parsiya running searching dhani, dl with vidha crying over dhani and oh oh dt, kn cameo.. then our hero whose expressions are increasingly difficult to know what they want to convey. Today I found VIP confused to say to least. He looked unconvincing in his shots. He looked funny when he jumprd up to Look for water. The whole deserted room setting itself looked confusing. As for romance if any, we will wait for tomorrow. The room set up was cheap and tacky. Mishal looked out of place. Hope for a better episode tomorrow. Please reduce the male up for ss. It adds to the disconnect we audience feel for dhani nowadays.

Agree Nitya the scenes were hap hazard as if put together at the last moment .

What irked me more was bad direction . Vip wears a bandage for several days while SS after a shoulder surgery has none. Someone paid the hospital bill when the patient was neither discharged nor the family was present .

Dhani fainting and Vip giving her water was a reprise of the Ganga Ghat episode on the early days of the show. To me it seemed that when she accuses him of taking advantage.

There is something grossly amiss in the episodes lately and I honestly don't mean to be negative and for that purpose stay away from IF.

I've stopped paying attention to the story and the other characters, Nutty. I watch the show for Mishal and my focus is entirely on him. I liked him in today's episode. I like how he depicted his hurt, confusion, and anger in quiescence. He doesn't understand what went so wrong between the two all those years ago that his sweetheart is either always alienating him or misjudging him. When Dhani accuses Viplav of trying to take advantage of her, you could see Viplav's heart breaking at her assumption. First the shock, then the anger, and finally the hurt. I felt like hugging Mishal in that scene. My heart hurt just as much as his did. When they were hiding from the goons and she shrugs away from his hold, you could see him hurt beyond words looking for answers from her. You could see him questioning her with his eyes asking what have I done that you've kicked me out of your heart this way? I could sense Viplav's sorrow, his desperation, and his defeat in the precap. All he's ever wanted was Dhani's love, but that seems to be the one impossible desire he can't have. I don't know if Mishal feels disconnected to the story or his co-actors, but whatever it is that he's feeling is working for him in his scenes.

I agree everything is so disconnected and you can sense it in the forced expressions of the actors!

Dazz,
The disconnect with the story & coactors that you say is exactly what I have been noticing
From Mishal since the past few episodes. Going back to the face off scene where Mishal did
A splendid job, I truly felt the pain was coming from him, not just for the scene...Mishal is
Such a natural actor, the lines between reel & real are so blurred, you can't make out at times
& I strongly feel what we are lately witnessing from him is more real.
As you say, whatever it is is working for him in the scenes.

Agreed, Mish! He seems lost, confused, and in pain. As Viplav, his emotions make sense because of his characterization and the story post leap. I seriously can't tell if he's acting as Viplav or if he's expressing himself as Mishal. What you've said is so true. He's such an organic actor that at times it's difficult to decipher the difference between real and reel.
