Some debt collectors come to Saravana's house as he owes their boss some money. He says he doesn't have any this time because he bought some new clothes for Little Anjali (LA). Kavitha comes out with LA. The men see her and say she is good looking child. They become a bit nicer and say they will take the gold chain that she is wearing instead. Saravana says no, but LA gives it to them. Saravana and Kavitha wonder how she got the chain in the first place.
Jeeva Ratnam's character goes to a man Siva's (Dev Anand) house. His sister is called Ratna (played by Lakshmi from JN1). They are very rich (scientists i think) and are paying money to JR to find LA and ask him about the leads and if Anjali has any connection with LA. He says it doesn't look like it and asks what they are planning to do with LA when he finds her. Is it to make money? Ratna shouts and says we have enough money, we are looking for power and some peace.
Saravana tells his friend about the chain story. His friend says you probably didnt notice it before but Saravana is confused. A samiyar is listening to him and just smiles. Some policemen come to him and show him a pic of LA. They say if you see her again, let us know and we will give you some money. He says he hasn't seen her and asks who her parents are. They say that's none of your business, just let us know if you find her.
Subbu and Anjali are eating. Subbu then goes to the mirror and says to it, have you eaten? I really miss you. Anjali looks and she is talking to a photo of a man opposite, reflected in the mirror. (He was in Manaivi as Kalpana's husband) Subbu says to Anjali, that is my husband. Isn't he good looking?😉...thodarum
