Sandhya- Trained dancer??

Hey All,

I just had to do this. I had to post this. Lot of people have been saying that Sandhya claimed to be Shiamak's student based on a supposed reputed daily (in my opinion a gossip tabloid) and a blog. I went back to the video these blogs were referring to and I am posting the video here. It's the 12 Oct video, where Sandhya got a bit emotional. I ran and reran the video but my ears failed to hear any such claims. So, please let us stop spreading baseless stories. She is a good dancer and deserves a fair chance.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but spreading stories about contestants that we are not sure of is not really fair. Trust me interesting rumors spread faster than true stories.

She has never outright said it. But in the samba round or during the Kiss of Love song I think, she says that it was the kamaal of two people and she points to Javed and Shamaik. So unless he taught postures to everyone, she had to have attended a class there. But she is no trained dancer.
I don't feel like finding the quote I wrote on another thread. But in paraphrase taking a few classes does not make you a trained dancer. Many of my best friends took ballet and tap classes when they were younger, but none of them are great dancers. I took a tango class last year, but I am certainly no trained dancer just after taking a class. It takes several years of rigorous training for that to happen.

The mid-day article talked about this "crying episode." I remember that episode when she said it is "kamal of two people," but she was referring to Shiamak's comments that he gives to all the people. He made a comment about her hand movements, which she incorporated in that dance. I totally agree with your second point.

I m not sure whether Sandhya was really a student of Shiamak Davar's dance academy or not 😕 but I do remember Sandhya herself telling in the show that she was a part of his Academy for few years 😊 ..I don't remember the episode though in which she said it 😳

But all said and done Sandhya is technically the best dancer of JDJ 😃

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Sandhya did say she was Shiamak's student, and Shiamak did say she was his student. When, where, I don't remember - but this is the truth, and there is no point trying to claim otherwise. I am sure there are enough ways for the truth to come out. People cannot be fooled for long.

The news paper is respectable, and if they say she has attended the school I am sure she has. There was a statement somewehere (don't remember where)that stated she attended classes in his Delhi branch. If there are such details coming out I am sure she attended the dance school. That automatically puts her at an undue advantage.

Exactly, but guess what....I am going to stop trying to convince people. They are badly looking for reasons to justify why Sandy is the best dancer as where dancing skills are concerned she comes as a threat to their favorites.

If you want to believe something, no one can change that. Definitely not me. So, I am not going to argue over this.

In one of the episodes, Sandhya herself said something along the lines of being Shaimak's student. But if you absolutely want to shut to a fact, its you call. 😊

Sandhya is not a trained dancer for You, but for herself and others I think she is trained. 😛
