Ch 26 : Let Me Love You
Rey smiled as he watched her sleeping peacefully after their finished their studies for the day. Since exams are nearing and taani is not able to attend college, Rey has taken it on himself to go to her and help her in studies after college.
Rey got up and he made her lay down on the bed comfortably and covered her with blanket. He bend down little and pressed his lips softly against her forehead, leaving a long soothing kiss there. He smiled, admiring her angelic face.
"You are truly a princess and I love you." He whispered softly. She was the best thing that has ever happened to him. He doesn't regret falling for her. Even though falling for his best friend's sister wasn't in his list, but sometimes things are not in our hands, its fate who decides. She is a beautiful gift given to him by destiny and he will cherish it till his last breath.
Rey gave a sweet peck on her cute nose before he walked out of the room. He went in living area where he found Ronak, he walked over and slumped down on the couch beside ronak.
"Hey, Rey bhai. What is di doing?" Ronak looked up from his cell phone and greeted Rey with a smile.
"Hello, Ron. And Taani is sleeping inside." Rey answered.
"Cool! Do you know taani di's birthday is coming next month." Ronak told him, Rey hummed in response, he knew about it, infact he knew almost everything about her which was surprising for himself too.
"I am planning to take di to goa. She will be free from her exams by then, and we will celebrate her birthday there. Aap chaloge?" Ronak asked him. Rey's eyes sparked up as soon as he heard ronak. He was no stupid to let go such opportunity to be her. These days, he think of excuses to be around her and here Ronak served him a good opportunity on golden platter.
"Sure!" Rey composed himself and spoke in calm tone.
"Great! So you, me & di, our trip will be perfect." Ronak smiled at her.
"Isn't swayum coming?" Rey asked him curiously.
"No, He denied since he can't afford to stay away from the girl..um whats her name?" Ronak scratched his head, trying to remember the name of the girl his brother like.
"You mean sharon?" Rey could easily guessed.
"Yeah! That sharon." Ronak nodded in agreement.
"Then you can ask sharon to join, even others will join."
"Ur..Don't mind, Rey bhai, but except you, his friends are pretty much unbearable, I don't want any drama there. And lets keep this trip a family trip." Ronak said to him, being the straightforward and honest by nature, he never hide his real feelings toward a person. If he dislike someone, he says it on the face.
"So i am a family?" Rey asked him, he couldn't help but felt happy.
"Offcourse, you are. You are part of our family." Ronak smiled at him, he throw his arm around his shoulder and hugged him side ways. Ronak admired and respect rey like swayum, for him they both are same.

Days were rolling by, taani and rey were studying together for which she was grateful. He was a great help. But still the change in his behavior confused her, nevertheless, she was happy with the time she is getting to spend with her prince charming.
It was the last day of exam. Taani stepped out of the examination room with a smiling face. Stress and tension of exams was lifted off her shoulders.
"Taani." She stopped in track when she heard someone calling her from behind. She turned around and found rey approaching her with a huge grin plastered on his face.
"Hi." Rey passed one of his killer smile to her as he came and stand beside her.
"Hey." Taani gave a sweet smile to him. With time their unnamed relation has seen drastic changes. They had come a long way from 'just-swayum's-sister' phase and somewhere, she had realized it too but didn't want to admit to herself.
"Someone is happy." Rey teased her.
"Yea! Finally exams ended." Taani grinned as she answered him. She was about to say something when her cell phone beeped, she checked her cell phone and found a message from her brother, Ronak.
"Rey, I have to go. Ronak is waiting outside for me." Taani said to him, giving an apologetic look to him.
"Thats alright, taani. By the way, are you going somewhere with him?" Rey asked her.
"Yes. We are going to shopping for the goa trip. If you want, you can come along." Taani offered. Rey groaned mentally, though he wanted to go with her but he can't since he had to meet his friends, he promised them.
"I have to meet gang. I am sorry."
"Don't say sorry. I understand." Taani gave an assuring look to him. She waved him goodbye and walked away from there where as Rey went in rehearsal hall where his friends were already waiting for him.
