"No Armaan...now nothing is same between us...last month...It was the most awesome time I had in my life...but I guess that was it..I just can't be a friend to you anymore...! I am sorry..! And...And Congratulations...You and Shanaya..both look good together.." And with that she moved away and got busy with some guests from Siddhant's side.
He was taken aback seeing her saying the things which he wasn't able to understand. He wasn't able to comprehend in which way her thoughts were heading but what he knew was he have to act fast before she step into something where there is no point of return.
He, a little disheartened, made his way in the back side of the house where there is a small lake between the greenery. The place was very calm and peaceful and he knew he needed fresh air to digest her words. He sat on the ground staring particularly nowhere but water.
Though her words were quite normally spoken, but, he very well understood the deep meaning hidden behind it. All the pain she have had endured was clearly visible in her eyes. He very well knew what she wanted to convey and so he decided that this was it. He is no more going to wait for her to take that initiative but he will do anything and everything in his power to get her back.

"One minute.." His brain starts to rewind the events with the speed of lightning. How can he missed that..."Ahh" He sighed in frustration? Though he was hurt by her words...and actions, But he wasn't a fool to not see the mischievous glint in her eyes which she was trying hard to hide behind her angry glares.
He very well noticed her each and every expression, at first, he himself was confused but now after thinking and replaying everything in his mind he felt indeed this girl is crazy. Here he thought that she was actually serious about getting married to Siddhant and there, his sweet yet innocent Basket is busy playing with him.
"So Basket wants to play..ahaan...She wants me to confront her..."I can't be only a friend to you' ..this is what you said na Basket...So..let's see..what more you want to be then..."
He left from there smiling to himself for some unknown reasons.
On the other side, Riddhima was still debating whether she did a right thing or not. Though, she actually made her mind clear about getting married to Siddhant, but seeing him standing at window when she reached the place, her heart melt and pleaded her to give a try once just once.
After all, he is the same man, oops correction, same charming yet mysterious guy whom she fell in love with. This guy can actually make her act like one crazy teenager whom has fallen hard in love.
All the time she was fighting a losing battle between her mind and soul, but in the end she gave in her desires of letting him know about her feelings. She was still not sure about how to react in front of him so she acted like she is angry with him for some reasons knowing well that he will try and confront her. She wanted him to be with her all the time. She was thinking of ways to grab his attention and this way couldn't have been better. She knew if she continues to be a friend...actually a best friend to him, she will be left with nothing but a tag of friendship and above all she has to see Shanaya getting married to her mysterious guy. Exactly..I will make myself clear...He is mine...all mine.. No witch can snatch him away from me.
Haah..Sounds like a plan Ridz...I will deliberately do things to run away from him but running into him...Chuckling at her thoughts she sighed and went to stand near window. The weather was calm and content. She knew she had hated this season like anything...that stupid Siddhaant...but unknowingly...Armaan had indeed made her feel alive again.
Maybe...it was not him..or maybe he was...don't know...but whatever it is..If it wasn't about him...She would never have felt these cool breezes on her skin again. She would never have felt the calmness of her heart. She would have kept on acting rather freaking out in this weather. On second thoughts, she isn't surprised though that he has this effect on her.
Well something was there about him that she felt quite strange. When we say one meet isn't enough to fall in love but she did. She never thought about it before, but few things and situations made her feel this way. Don't know why, but she does feel familiarity in his touch. As if those eyes, she has seen them before. That touch, indeed, she has felt it before.
Well, maybe she felt because of her feelings or the intensity with which she was being pulled towards him. Whatever it is, she knew something is still there which is unsaid. But it is there, just there.
She again drifted her thoughts to recent events when she said those hurtful words to him. She noticed hurt in his eyes but couldn't muster up the courage to go back to him and make it up to him and make things went back to normal. Sometimes she feels like she is doing wrong. Maybe, he is just being a good friend to her and is actually in love with Shanaya. Is it the case? Is she really being too stubborn to accept the reality?
But her heart gave away her each and every thought. She indeed has felt those same emotions and feelings. Though he kept them in mask, but she is no fool to not see right through him. And the reason she is here is him, only him.
Maybe, she would have not come this far if it wasn't about that night, the same night where she felt him so close to her. Where she felt his lips on her lips, where the rain was heavenly pouring over them. The same night, which she couldn't decipher if it was a dream or it was real.
She still didn't knew what has happened that night...all she knew is, she had felt him near, so near, close to her heart. And only because of that love, which she had seen in his eyes, she really wants to give it a try. She is scared that if at all everything turns out to be a dream, she will be shattered. But before running away, she wants to face it. She is not scared of heart break but regrets. Regret is the only emotion she didn't want to face. So, she had made herself clear about it way before. She will try...even if everything turns out just a dream...even if her bubble around just blew away...she will not step back.
On the other side, Shanaya was searching for Armaan like everywhere when she found him in garden doing nothing in particular. She smiled and went to him.
"Armaan..What are you doing here baby, I am searching for you since morning, and you are nowhere, no one even knows about your whereabouts..?"
"Ehhmm Shanaya...actually I was busy somewhere...you say you wanna talk about something..?" he replied. He was not interested at first but he has seen Riddhima standing near her room window staring at them. He couldn't just shrug Shanaya away like that in her presence.
"Haan...Armaan..we both knew that we are getting engaged in few days,...so why not we try and spend some time together..ahh ..like only you and me..somewhere..see the weather is so romantic...and there are so many people in the house that we won't get time for ourselves..." Shanaya said hoping he would agree with her.
"Ahem..Shanaya...I actually..there is so much work left to do. It will be Rahul and Muskaan's engagement first. So, I am busy..." He was about to leave when she held his hand and said "Armaan...why you are doing this to me...This marriage is what we wanted. We are friends since childhood...We have been together for years...and you know I have feelings for you..than why...Since the time you came back from London..you have changed...changed a lot..." She said while tears brimming in her eyes.
"Shanaya..this isn't true..it's just I need time...everything happened so fast that I couldn't prepare myself. I need time for this..so please...but ...okay..i will try and spend time with you if you feel this is what we need..."
He went from there cursing himself for getting into this situation. While Shanaya smiled to herself feeling her plan worked of confronting him. She indeed had heard the morning conversation between Armaan and Rahul but acted as if she is still searching for Armaan downstairs. She was too shocked after knowing everything. She felt cheated at that time. They both had always been so close to each other and she had loved him from way back and if Armaan would have let her know before she would have made herself understand but now...she can't. She cried to herself and try to reason it with her heart but couldn't get on the fact that he never loved her.
Her illusions broke, her world shattered. But, she still wants to be with him. Maybe she is being selfish, but she really can't stand Riddhima from the time she had entered in her Armaan's life. And now knowing the truth, she will never let this happen. Even if it means, she had to turn into a green eye monster, she is ready. But She will never let Riddhima win.
She had seen Riddhima standing near the window when she grabbed Armaan's hand in mid-way to talk to him. She has no choice but to make Armaan feel her love. She desperately wanted to be with him. She had never left a chance to insult Riddhima..but now...she can't see her winning from her.
Shanaya left from there after clearing her almost fake tears while Riddhima sighed in exasperation. She just wishes that everything comes to an end soon. It's her or Shanaya, she is tired of playing this hide and seek. Especially, this witch, who is making plans of getting away with her Armaan. She needs to be careful around Shanaya. She knew what Shanaya is upto, she has felt her jealousy but kept quiet. Her jealousy only made her more stubborn to convey her feeling to Armaan asap.
It was evening time and everyone has been settled in the living area to have their evening snacks and chit chatting. Riddhima and Muskaan were serving snacks to everyone. While they do, Shanaya saw her giving snacks and tea to Armaan. Armaan took tea from Riddhima's hands, giving his angelic smile to her, while she was so lost in him that she didn't even cared about her surroundings.
His hands caressed her hand while holding the tea plate. Armaan smirked seeing his effect on her. He took the tea plate and turned his head around while she came back from her wonder land. He did want to confirm that she was actually faking morning's incident or not. Though he was sure about it but he has to give his restless heart some peace. And seeing her reaction on his touch, he felt happy that he did affect her in a way he wants. This gives him the feeling of winning her over but for now he has some other plans of having some fun with her.
On the other side, she didn't felt so happy about it that Armaan can exactly see through her. She felt him smirking giving her an idea of him knowing everything but wait..how can he even know about her plan...She really acted serious and didn't gave away any emotion. On top of that, she hadn't let anyone know about her plans, how can he still act this way. He should have probably felt upset about it...so he should be angry or at least try confronting me. But he did nothing. This Idiot yet not so stupid Mallik have his own ways dealing with her. She chided.
Rahul's father, Mr.Garewaal, grabbed everyone's attention. Once he felt everyone is listening to him he said, Well..as we have few days with us before Rahul and Muskaan's functions start.. And now even we have two more couples who are also going to be married soon, I was thinking why not you children go out and have some fun. Not that you are not having it now, but I was thinking go and explore more, have fun, it will be a picnic for you all. And about we elders, we all were planning to visit the popular temple here. It will take us 3 days to come back, so we were thinking you all can go for a small trip till then."
Elders smiled at their kids expressions. They very well know these kids are no innocent; they must have started planning everything in their heads itself but showed as if they are okay with whatever. Once the elders left everyone started jumping in excitement and making plans of where they want to go. Armaan left as he knew his parents were up to something.
He knocked at his parent's door and entered the room only to find them already waiting for him. His father made him seated beside him and said "Armaan...I know that you are well aware about our intentions. So we are giving you these 3 days beta..."
"Haan Armaan...We want you to be happy...and since morning I can see how much happy you are after seeing Riddhima. Armaan, I really wanted to apologize to even keep that condition in front of you." His mother completed having tears in her eyes.
"No Mom..Please don't apologize..I am glad that you gave me a chance to prove my love for her...And trust me..I won't let you down.." He said bringing a genuine smile on their faces.
"Beta..we have made this plan with Garewaal's consent. They had told that Siddhant and his family will arrive after 3 days..so we wanted to give you a fair chance. Though we can't ignore Shanaya too..But we did notice the small exchange between you and Riddhima while she was serving you tea. His father completed and Armaan did blush a little that his parents were talking to him about this...But he can't be more thankful to them for helping him. Indeed he needed this time to be with her.
"Don't worry papa ...I will handle Shanaya...I know she doesn't love me..It's just our friendship that is making her behave like this. Once, Riddhima will be with me...I will surely let Shanaya know the truth. But for now, I can't take any risk." He completed and left from there. There is so much going in his head. He had to chalk out some plans to spend quality time with her. Well talking about quality time is just a formality..he only wants to be with her ..and that too alone...He called Rahul to his room.
Once he was sure, no one is around, he told Rahul everything that there parents has decided. To his surprise Rahul smiled at him and said "Bhai...do you really think..I didn't knew anything ..."
"Oh...so here is Mr. Mastermind...I guess Muskaan is getting on your skin quite really fast..." He grinned at him while Rahul rolled his eyes and said "Not again Bhai..at least give some credits to this poor guy too..who made them understand your situation..."
Rahul sighed in sadness while Armaan muttered "Nautanki...I very well know what you are up to..now stop your drama..and listen...I have only 3 days..and this not so naive Basket is already getting under my skin...She has already started her new drama..and before she do some disaster...I want her to confess. "
"I seriously get that Bhai..and I have done all the arrangements before hand...now you just have to execute your devilish plan.." Rahul grinned on his brother's thoughts...He have an idea what will be going in his mind but didn't want to ask..
Armaan, on the other hand started thinking all the ways to make his plan work.
