I think the problem here is that ,they thought the other person will change for them..but when in love you change for your partner out of affection . You dont expect your partner to change for you.

Both of them have different expectations from life and different ideas of leading it. Ranveer doesn't want to be a part of some race and likes to satisfy himself with whatever little he has. We might or might not have a similar thought process, but in the end it is him who feels that way. While Neha feels money is an extremely important factor in life, which is and she isn't wrong either. But if she feels so strongly about that aspect, why doesn't she herself strive to get those things in life. She can continue with her studies and fetch a job for herself, given how she doesn't have a problem with using some contacts, it won't be difficult for her to get a job either , as Dev is pretty influential. All of us have different expectations from life and for most part, it's us who will have to strive by ourselves to fulfill them. If Ranveer has a problem with Neha fulfilling her dreams, then it is a mess, for sure. Otherwise you can't force a person to do something which they hate to do or something which nauseates them. Job is a very important part of a person's life, they need to live with it for a long period of time. So at the end, it must be an individual's call in regards to that.

Both Neha and Ranveer are right and wrong at the same time,they are not trying to meet half way, othrwise it will be cumbersome for one person to reach the other all the way.If they love each other they can reach out as well.

I think it would be unfair if i chose any one of them...both of them are right in their own ways...would be interesting to see how CVs handle this complicated situation...
