I guess sultan team has a perfect excuse if sultan underperforms at boxoffice
May be all this was a calculated strategy because movie is shit n was going to flop anyway

if the movie is pure shit its gonna underperform anyway. I dont think it will be pure shit and for the film to be flop it has to bundled out under 130cr or less which is not possible

It will not underperform.

There are many who refuse to accept Salman words and happily call him their god. The controversy gave the film much needed hype. There will be anothed call by Bollywood about how much Salman does for them and he is integral to Bollywood and India. As it is, Being Human is already used to defend him.

I don't think Sultan will underperform.Sadly nowadays any publicity is good publicity.

Plus majority salman fans still support him.So it will definitely get an excellent opening. Baki depends on WOM.

If the movie is good I don't think people will stop themselves from watching it.

Sultan is not giving me good vibes from the beginning

I am struggling to come to terms with

a) 50 year old wood looking man romancing with 20 something baby face soft girl

b) All scenes already remind me of previous movies like dabang

c) songs are bad

d) Same old setup of village

e) reminds me of chak de and redemption

f) salman in bikini type underwear

The look of the film is not grand like bajrangi. It seems baasi

These are honest comments. I liked bajrangi a lot so it is nothing against Salman K

The movie just looks terrible

Right now Salman's (in fact, every Khan's) name is still running. Sultan is a mainstream movie. It will not be flop. Whether it will be hit or superhit will not depend on this. Instead on WOM. Generally people do not bother about controversy. If the movie is good, they will watch.
