In last night's episode, Anokhi was just sublime
She had everything at least of the last year in her laptop, so Jassi's attempt to get her kicked out of the house by releasing the mice did her no damage. Jassi's attempt to get her removed somehow ended up jeopardizing the very existence of the family business - whatever it was (I didn't exactly get the mice treatment bit about her cure). But by turning around a very ugly situation regarding the files, Anokhi's at least secured her job - for now.
Although everything about Anokhi seems to be an adventure - on steroids. Tushar calls her to tell her that he's coming to pick her up, so Anokhi decides to take the detour via that high security house that she claimed to live in. So both sides are lying to each other - Anokhi about where she lives, and Tushar about who he is. Not difficult to expose from either end - Jassi would know where Anokhi lives, while Tushar can't maintain that subterfuge for long in front of his entire family.
Then in the car, she sits at the back and is busy mimicking the high society lady in the next car. Don't get why she has to be such a fake. 🤔 Anyway, they get to the home office, and she excels by catching the laptop - just like an AB de Villiers.
When they brought the laptop, they had already exhausted the 3 attempts to log in (the laptop is a Windows 10 laptop), so it took a lot of her brilliance to get in. Oh, and great job w/ the password - anaar - who would have guessed? 😆 She does that and sees that only 5% of the battery is left. And what's more - the mice have chewed up the laptop power supply. She gets a flash of brilliance, transfers it to a phone (looked like a blackberry) and makes a mindblowing presentation about the budget. Oh, and she seems to be a whiz at Excel - knowing at least how to make charts, if not pivot tables. 👏👍🏼
In the meantime, at home, I didn't get Priyanka. Hasn't she ever used a food processor before? You clamp the lid b4 putting it on. Instead, she loosely put it on, and it scattered over the whole place. Uma's face was a picture 😆
Tomorrow, Nikita gets to persecute Anokhi again after first seeming to congratulate her. Oh, well, but for now, it's Anokhi who's saved the day, and she's not even entered her sasural.
