{I don't know whether I'm welcomed here to post or not. But being a "positive" person, is thinking about oneself from the same angle wrong? ๐Ÿ˜› Anyways, I "somehow" feel necessary to tell the reason for my disappearance and that's why this "prologue". So, since the late-last week/early-present week, a policy of no DTH recharge (i.e. no HD channels ๐Ÿ˜ญ) for "at least" "1 month" (tentative time-period, actual days are likely to be less) was made. And this had to come into force since 9th of June (as 8th of June was last day) but got extended till 12th of June instead (i.e. 11th was last day). Now "jump"/take a quick leap to yesterday, my Internet plan being consumed on a de-facto "sharing-basis" got exhausted and wasn't refilled immediately since we somehow reached a point to "celebrate" "No Internet Day". But wait, that's not enough! The even more surprising factor was that our [digital] cable TV also went on a "holiday" and we were left with "no entertainment"! Multiple rings to local cable-wallah [guy] went in vain/to no avail as he wasn't answering our calls. ๐Ÿ˜’ Thus, the entire day[-and-night] was spent without TV also (Thank God no 'Parvarrish' yesterday ๐Ÿ˜›) and call to the MSO gave a "typical callcentre-response" that "due to some technical glitches we're facing issues in delivering services to the MAXIMUM region of your state. Our team is working "relentlessly" on it and it'll get resolved within MAXIMUM of 2 hours for sure." in the middle of night. Well, unsurprisingly, it got fixed at today afternoon only! So essentially, we spent (read: had to spend) entire yesterday as "No TV, No Internet Day" (no trademark infringement caused to HT Media, publisher of Hindustan Times ๐Ÿ˜‰) which was obviously "painful" as it was apparently different from our everyday lifestyle but I even "enjoyed" it in a sense that I don't have to burden my mind [further] with what's gonna happen in X show, to what kind of replies I should respond to, how many bullies are "about to attack" me on social media, etcetera. ๐Ÿ˜† Even though I missed some of my favourite shows for 2 days and even burdened myself further as it lead to the "pushback" of my "self-commitment deadline" ("as always" ๐Ÿ˜†) to farther away. ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜’ But we surely realised the importance of a well-known lesson which hardly gets valued in today's practical life. ๐Ÿ˜Š}

Chalo...!!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ My disappearance for "1 day" at least gave you the "chance" to finally create a separate thread for this, na...?!! ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜† Well, SET be like: "'Karn' ko "taishuda" waqt mein khatam karne ke liye kuchh bhi karega"...!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

P.S. Had to re-type the entire post as again, battery-drainage and no chance to save it!!! ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜† I completed the entire prologue* and even typed 1-and-half line of actual reply, but then - "Bam!" and all went down the drain!!! ๐Ÿ˜† *Believe me, the "prologue" wasn't as long as this one in the earlier script, maybe I got chance for too-many "improvements"...!!! ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜†

hate sony im boycotting this see theyre doing the same thing with that other show pyar ko ho jane do ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
nowa days theyre only promoting that mamas boy๐Ÿคฃ show what is it yea kuch rang dont like that skinny dull sonakshi๐Ÿ˜› i dont how rashmi sharma couldnt see throught this kuch rang theyve copied her show lol ๐Ÿ˜›

Well, they're not going to do so as each and every 3-4 1-hour episodes will cause trouble for 'KRPKAB' and since it's newer and most importantly, highest "ratings-churner" out of all modern (oops.. "Contemporary") shows and therefore, they won't do that. So which show is left?? They're definitely not going to play with the time-slot of 'Crime Patrol Dial 100' unlike 'Parvarrish - Season 2' until the time of 'Ek Rishta Sajhedaari Ka' so the only show left is 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' [which is your only other favourite weekday-show on SET, if I'm not wrong]... ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿค” And given your 2nd point, wish it could happen...!! But it's "The Indian Television", not any West market where producers are the "king"! Had this 90s or even early-2000s, I would have been possible but now... Now TV producers are like those builders/contractors who build your home and once it's over, you stay at your home and aim you'll blame them for any future me--es! With this example, what I tried to convey that an Indian TV project is just like that home where producers posess their idea with themselves only till they get sucessful in selling it (just like that contractor who keeps posession of "your" property until it gets fully-constructed), once a channel buys it, it can do whatever it may please, replace directors (for which TV is said to be "their medium") and h--k, even those producers, which "baby" was the project till you acquired. And sadly, it virtually applies to any entertainment TV asset except international reality shows, where producers can coerce channels/networks to keep running the show season-after-season or else, they'll lose the rights to it which is for maximum 10 years rather perpetuity. And now "just for fun", I would also like to get hypothetical! ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, since nothing and no one is perfect, its essence would have been lost with Colors (no such creative freedom even near the level of SET) so I would have preferred Life OK (their maturity and "tolerance" for creativity is about the same as SET) but then its fate would have been much more vulnerable than it currently is in-being with SET (as they've "definitely" promoted it much better way than SET but that doesn't equal to showing faith in the content). Now, enough of "fun"! So the 4th, you're "boycotting" what?? The show or the network entirely?? ๐Ÿค” 5th, really?? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I never noticed that they "gulped-down" days of 'PKHJD' unlike what they've been doing with our show!!! Am I missing something?? ๐Ÿค”

Disagreed [because my [younger] sister loves that show ๐Ÿ˜‰]...!!! ๐Ÿ˜† But yes, TBVH, I know that it's "highly inspired" by 'Silsila Pyaar Ka' given it's concept and broad storyline and in fact, I "audaciously" said it to my sister 3-4 times before the inception of that show ever since I read its plot synopsis but I must have to say, I felt little "ashamed" when I watched that show! Everything is so different from Rashmi Sharma's counterpart, even I was mesmerised by that. Overall, I have no hesitation/qualm to proclaim that compared to 'SPK', this show is a "gem"!!! And given the shows in its time-slot viz. 'Swaragini' (where faces of each and every person present in a scenario "burn" 8-10 times in a minute ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜†), the even-more-lasting-than Duracell 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (saying just "ever-lasting" would have been a sheer understatement for this "great show" ๐Ÿ˜†) and even 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum' (a "rockstar" who is never heard playing a guitar and sings only soothing songs rather rock music turns into "maanav-baagh" due to a "sin" by his "sinner" father and has to fight with [since cow is revered "holy" in our country so the only Bovine left is poor Buffalo and her male counterparts so...] "maanav-bhainsa"). ๐Ÿ˜Š Now I'm not gonna say further since I'm not its advocate and talking more about it would mean "dragging" the conversation "off-topic" even though it's also a 'SET show' (as you suggested in 1 of your replies to post anything [even romtely] related to the network). But yes, one thing is for sure! If social media has any influence on actual ratings ("The TV currency") of a show then despite of its qualities [and "saas-bahu" element ๐Ÿ˜‰], it's a stardom-dependent show! No, I'm serious! Given the fandom of Shaheer [on social media and here] (Psst! My sister is also a one of them.. kya kahte hain?? "huge fan" ๐Ÿ˜‰ albeit she never acknowledges it but I can see ๐Ÿ˜Š), the show is majorily dependent on his "stardom" and I wouldn't be surprised if it's somehow revealed later that makers took his "stardom" into account the most. What's more? Now, the network will believe into that even more since they cracked a syndication deal with a Tamil channel for its dubbed version and even an international-syndication deal with a Pakistani channel within mere 3 months of its airing!!! You may ask "what's so big deal about it"?? Well, reruns of a programme starting in just 3 months of original start on off-network channels ("syndicated airing") is still not very common phenomenon as far as Hindi Television is concerned and that too for a channel like Sony?? Which rarely gets successful in cracking a syndication deal in any show but 'CID'?? Upon pondering from their very same angle, it's just BEYOND WORDS!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

Couldn't Agree More! ๐Ÿ˜Š I planned to say that in other thread but let me just indicate it here. If we compare just 3 channels from "biggies" viz. SET, Life OK and lately, &TV (a reboot/"reincarnation" of Zee Next), then all of them will fare better than rest of each other in each particular aspects (I'm not disclosing those factors right now as I realise this [multiple-reply-at-once] post has been lengthened "too-much" but willing to do so upon any explicit request). So, that being said, none is perfect and neither they're! ๐Ÿ˜Š

They have done this with other shows as well.

Really?? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ They did that with '2025 Jaane Kya Hoga Aage'?? Yes, given the concept, such a unique show it was and though I wasn't able to catch-up with it properly, my [youngest] sister used to follow it and even I was surprised, "ye kuchh zyaada jaldi nahi khatm ho raha?!!" but then ch--ed it thinking it was a regular, old-story "TRP issue"... ๐Ÿ˜ต But now reading your claim, I'm really surprised that they could even waste their own money due to their.. what is called [by me] as "Corporate Arrogance"!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Now I wonder how/what its ending/last-episode would have been?!? ๐Ÿ˜• Will surely "give it a shot" once I get enough free-time and moreover, [enough] data plan...! So may we please have a source which confirms the same [that some of its already shot episodes were in queue to be aired but never made it...]?? ๐Ÿค”

Krpkab is 1000 times better than this show. Btw, krpkab has nothing similar with that rashmi Sharma show. So, before showing frustration on other shows get some knowledge. Btw, parvarish get enough promos in it's initial four months, but it never gets trp and huge fandom. But krpkab has better story, better trp and huge fandom thn pv. That's why Sony is promoting it. And about fan bringing back CID, sony intentionally not air the show for two months, they want to air it after IPL with Adalat. Its called marketing strategy. Its not because of so called fans demand. Sony is here for business not for doing charity.

Hello "Arjun [of] 2016"! ๐Ÿ˜Š Easy.., easy dude! "Take a chill-pill"!!!

While I very well understood to whom you addressed [and anyone who've read both pages of this thread have got it very well]. ๐Ÿ˜Š But since I'm the only one who has confessed to also like 'KRPKAB' here so far, let me "take a charge" to "calm you down" (actually, reply one-on-one to your reasonings):

You said it constructively, right?? ๐Ÿ˜Š Because it's practically impossible that 'KRPKAB' is 1000x better than its preceding show (in its prime-time slot)!!! Period. ๐Ÿ˜› Yes, Agreed to the [almost] complete extent!!! @lizzie1765 definitely exaggerated on that and that's why I contested her points initially but in a polite tone. And the only catch here is that "nothing similar" excludes its core concept, right?? ๐Ÿ˜Š Since, you're interested in that show only, I think it would be wise with you to discuss in detail [about that]. By "core concept" I meant albeit there's a lot of difference between Janki Tiwari and Ishwari Dixit. Janki was "OCD-suffering", "devilish" mother who even used to dictate what his son would don. While Ishwari is almost opposite, they were even poorer than Tiwaris but still Ishwari is much more compassionate, mature and true-figure of a mother. The only similarity was that both loved, cared for and protected their respective only-and-one sons more than rest of their children and that's why they command more possession of them than anyone else [in the world]. That's what I meant by "core concept". ๐Ÿ˜Š Agreed to your point that 'Parvarrish' got its promo aired but had to disagree with you saying "enough"!!! Really?? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Are you saying so practically?? Just compare the number of promos post-inception of both shows in the given time-period i.e. 4 months (I know very well that 'KRPKAB' is yet-to-complete 4 months, but given the latest promo, it's a fair comparison), I'm sure you'll get your answer! And I also have high suspicion on the circulation-rate, i.e. I don't think they were getting repeated as often as KRPKAB's ones do. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Again, is it safe to construe that you're just saying it constructively?? Because "no TRP" is really a joke when its TRP is anyways better than 'Reporters' [which got extented thrice] and it has remained consistent for weeks even with PRACTICALLY ZERO promotional support which proves audience is really interested in its content. And given the "fandom" thing, I think you don't spend that much time on Instagram, no?? ๐Ÿ˜Š Well using the term "story" is very subjective, whether you're talking about concept, broad storyline/plot, types of tracks depicted or episodic stories?? You need to clarify!!! And my answer to rest of your points are almost same...!!! I already said it's a "stardom"-dependent show majorly, c'mon, you can't compare the fandom of an actor who have done that much bigger role, and that too in a mythological magnum opus with fandom of youth actors who're just starting (akin to what Shaheer was 7-8 years ago), and apart from him, Erica is a South Indian actress so that drives South Indian viewers, too and lastly, there are still many "good people" out there who appreciate the work of veterans like none-other-than Supriya Pilgaonkar [Ji] (who's best known for her comical/"light-hearted" characters). Yes, that's [most probably] the rationale behind promoting it but what about other shows? Another show is surviving without any promotional support whatsoever with consistent ratings since months and you're saying the network is completely absolved from fault?? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Or specially, is it fair to compare the ratings of 2 shows which have such deep distinction in terms of treatment from the network's side?? ๐Ÿ˜ณ Yes, I Agree to your point to most extent because 'CID' team have developed some deep connections with the broadcaster (SPN) itself (i.e. they're having their reach upto the management-level of Mr NP Singh) that they can't just end it abruptly as the case with other shows. And that's how they also got to try 'Akela' and 'Surya The Super Cop' ("coincidentally", both shows are having their flavours "revisited" by another successful show on an "archrival" network by them since few years). Akin to what happens in West and other international markets, they deliberately kept it "off-air" (that's what it literally means but in the Indian Television regime, since the shows are so longer-running that they only go "off-air" when the channel/network decides to "end" the story, that's why this "metonym") for 2 months most probably for the same "marketing strategy" as you figured-out ("Thriller-Weekends", a "success mantra" for them few years back). And neither I did notice any much of uproar there, nor on YouTube nor on Twitter. But since 'CID' is a cult-series, they didn't needed any! But despite of that, they must have got an idea even after 19 years, the "social-media generation" is ready-to-accept it at large. ๐Ÿ˜Š And that's why I would also like to further add in response to your view that definitely, they're here for business rather charity (selling electronics products at hefty price tags [worldwide] doesn't make them accountable for charity!!! Right?? ๐Ÿ˜‰ That's how their media-business is also thriving! ๐Ÿ˜Š). But as I intended to actually intended to include this in my reply to @luvakanksha in BizAsia article thread but couldn't (Thanks to my "lousy"-smartphone), they do value their brand more than earning more-and-more [quick-]profits. And their "brand value" lies only in specialty content rather such regular content which is very common and most unfortunately, very successful on most of the rival channels. ๐Ÿ˜” And that's pretty much evident via their social media description too that they realise it pretty correct. Else, if they only want "pure-business" is what you're trying to imply, then they need to shut-down all of its "contemporary" shows viz. 'EDKV' and even "your" 'KRPKAB' apart from 'Parvarrish'. Also includes those shows who're ready to "go on-floor" having non-regular concept are "deserving" to get scrapped outrightly rather taking them "off-air" after giving a chance. And to get to the level of India's #1 Hindi GEN, they need to scrap even the likes of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and 'Crime Patrol'. Well, if I'm not wrong, then they really tried to "think about the business only" mere few times ago with shows like 'Anamika' and 'Tum Aise Hi Rehna', what happened?? ๐Ÿ˜Š As logic can be somehow applied to everything, many reasonings can be given such is "that was a wrong-time", "they tried to do exactly vice-versa of India's #1 Hindi channel rather just following them and that's why they were destined to doom*", etcetera, etcetera.
Hope you got answers to all of your points! ๐Ÿ˜Š

*That #1 Hindi GEN has exactly-opposite case currently compared with what SET had few years ago. That is, all of "regressive-content" with an exception of 1-2. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I seriously wanted to hit 'Like' on your post and even would like to "confess" that I indeed did it for a while but then I realised had you kept your tone softer, it would've helped everyone. Yes, even if we agree to your point that someone else has behaved "immaturely", then do you really need to act the same way to prove your point [in this case]?? Being rude does rarely help but being polite, mostly helps! Hope you won't take offence from my words and indeed try to get what I wanted to convey. ๐Ÿ˜Š
