Well with the simple awesome confession by Dev and after some good episodes of Dev and Sona in romantic mode...I am caught up with the fever of the sneaking around...and my thoughts went to a fun mode of imagination...I am having this a lot lately...
Well, after the last incident where Radha Rani almost died seeing Devakshi in each other arms, she was saved by the doctors in the nick of time as Dev rushed her to the hospital. Not that he wanted to do but he had no choice , she being his family unfortunately!
After the incident, she wasn't able to talk at all as she was too weak, under heavy sedation and no one allowed her to talk , just continued to give her medication to let her have a much needed rest...And then while she was sleeping... Dev and Sona were up to their romance once again...this time in the kitchen...let's see what in store for us, shall we?
Dev finished his work in the office and rushed home just around 2 pm. It was Friday...as he wont see Sona during the weekend...as week-ends are dedicated to her family . He is going to miss her ...two days without seeing her! The week-end is going to be super long for him.! God almighty.!
He wants to spend more time with her without the interference from his family. As their relationship is under wrap, and she working full time for him, its quite difficult to get away to spend quality time with her...He cant be always sneaking into the kitchen and calling her to his room every time... Arousing suspicion from his family members, sooner or later..
One down...the rest he just have to plan something, not as fatal as Radha which was totally unplanned, but to give him some space to be alone with Sonakshi!
As usual, too many people in the morning in the house, to have even a proper eyelock...She is like a breath of sunshine. He feels good after seeing her...his body knew all this while...but it took him a while to realize his love...But in all honesty ...he had always been attracted to her wasn't he?. When he reflect, the accident was a wake call for him. Didn't he change after that?. Would he have reacted the way he did had it been someone else...for sure he would have helped but not the way, he held her in his arms, talked to her till she was wheeled into the hospital for the surgery. Strange, that should have been a sign that their relationship was changing to another level...that he became more protective and very sensitive about her.. Love has been slowing growing on him for her...and it took him only now to realize it. Better late than never!
Now that he found her, that she is the one, who hold the key to his heart, never is going to let her go...Sona is his. Only his! He feels like a caveman around her...she belongs to him only.
He walked into an almost silent house, except for some sounds of muted conversation coming from the Kitchen...
Sona and Mom were at the island table and laughing at something and they looked up in surprise at him. ! He was hoping to catch her alone expecting his mother taking her afternoon nap. He should have called before coming home...Think Dev...Think Fast!!!! You don't have much time with Sona...today.. just a few more hours...
Mum exclaimed : Dev! What are you doing back so early? Is everything ok? You are not ill are you?
Dev sighed dramatically : Ma, stop worrying...I am fine. I am the boss, cant I come home early? Its Friday anyway ..
Mum looked at him with a surprise at his rebuke : Of course you can, but you never did before...that's why I asked...this is not like you Dev...not that I am complaining..I am happy to see you home soon...
Sona was excited seeing Dev. They hardly spent time together except for stolen time here and there in the house, and him dropping her at her place after work and meeting at midnight outside her home, and with Radha Rani collapsing recently , they had to be careful...worried, that when she wakes up for she will reveal the truth. Dev brushes it off and said he knows what to say...and told her not to worry too much on it and just concentrate on him! He was very demanding on that department!
Dev looked at Sona and asked coolly with glittering eyes : Ms Bose, I need your advice...wonder if you can help me out?
Sona looked confused but going with the flow , not knowing...nowadays she doesn't know what to expect...best to take the cue form him. : uh -oh, Sure, if I can help I will...what is it Mr Dixit?
Dev enquired : Well, I am having this health care programme, "Eat right and stay healthy" for my staff. Just need your inputs on how we can introduce and implement it . I care about my peoples' welfare...
Sona said excitedly : Oh is that all, no problem, I will be glad to help you out...I can chart out some plans appropriate for you organization but I need some details from you..
Mum looked at Dev and Sona : Looks like you two have things to discuss...why don't I go out and get some groceries while the two of you are at it?
Dev was smiling inwardly with a wickedness...for that's what he wanted...his mum to say something...perhaps not shopping but well, he is not complaining.
Dev said with concern : But mum ...but why not let Kicchu go and get the stuff that you need and you take your afternoon nap. What if Mami needs you...when she wakes up
Mum waved his concerned aside : No its ok dear . Going out is good, rather than staying indoor. Need some fresh air. And your mami is sleeping like a baby after a long time. Its nice to see her sleeping peacefully for once, without her normal chatter...haha... No point for me to hang around her. I don't want to disturb her with my presence , though I don't know why but I sense she was trying to tell me something...
Dev was listening intently nodded : Ok if you insist...but Ma, not alone...you take Kicchu with you...you are not going alone. Better still, why don't I go with you.and then later I can discuss with Ms Bose?
Mum...: Oh No no Dev... you have something to discuss with Dr Bose. You work with her and I will do it. Ok.ok, I will bring Kicchu with me. Happy now?
Dev smiled widely with genuine happiness as he set the trap : Of course Ma... take your time ...and Kicchu don't rush the shopping as Ma cant walk too fast...Take it easy ok? Got it?
Kicchu smiled : Sure brother...don't worry, I will take good care of mother...
After a few minutes mum after consulting with Dr bose on the groceries to purchase, they left.
The house was completely silent.!
Dev, look at Sona and winked at her: Alone at last! Where are the girls?
Sona reprimanded him : Mr Dixit you are so devious ! How can you do this?
Dev looked at innocently while shrugging out of his coat and hung it on the chair, asking softly but mischief dancing around his eyes and moutm : Do What?
Sona look at him in disbelief : Excuse me? Send your mother out? Not so wise Dev!
Dev was unknotting his tie and was rolling up his sleeves to his elbows - Did I ask her to go? She wanted to buy groceries...besides fresh air would do some good .
Sona looked at him- Why do I get the feeling that we are not going to discuss about work? You made that up right?
Dev looked at her with smouldering eyes and then striding slowly towards her,his arms swaying at his sides, his hips relaxed , his body moving in perfect panter like rhythm... and just stopped barely a step from her ...so close to her. She could smell his aftershave...and even the whiff of the perfume...she was intoxicated just by him...her body behaving strangely...he always has this effect on her...this is all so new to her...she has lot to learn...from him. She feel so feminine with him...he makes her feel like that ...
He said gruffly :
Sona, I am really very hungry and hungry and cant control it any longer...
Sona eyes widened and swallowed... her hear was racing...: Hmmm...Dev we cant ...not here
Dev said huskily : Is there anything to eat?
Sona blinked several times and looked blankly at him, not sure if she heard him correctly : Huh? What??
Dev repeated patiently as if talking to a small girl: I am hungry. Didn't have lunch in the office.. Is there anything to eat?
It took a few seconds to collect her scattered wits around her to realize that Dev was indeed really hungry for food...not for her : uh...hm...er no no, I don't think so...we were not expecting you to come or otherwise, they would have cooked something...how about I whip a salad for you?
Dev winced as if in pain : No no salad...something else...something more filling...
Sona looked at him lovingly and her heart melted. Poor thing...was hungry for food and here she was thinking he was hungry for her! She blushed and turned orange... Nowadays, thinking about him...brings some wild imagination...she has to stop this . He looked drop dead gorgeous as a glossy tiger on the prowl...
He walked across the kitchen and yanked open the fridge and was humming to himself checking out the contents: Hahah ...Prawns...! Hmm Pasta - Aglio olio good for you?
Sona panciked and looked at him with alarm : But I don't know how to cook that !
Dev looked at her across the room and shook his head: I just don't know how you became a dietician but still cannot cook...Ms Bose! Totally unacceptable!
Sona got annoyed and retorted furiously : What's that got to do with the other? I am a dietician, not a chef you know and why are you laughing?
Dev gave that sexy smile of his : Relax ...Ms Bose, I mean Sonakasi, let me show you how to make Pasta ? Eat with me?
Sona shrugged and said with hauteur : No , I have already taken my lunch...besides I am not very hungry.
Dev gave a little boy's hurt look as if had been denied candy : Then help me then...here I will show you how to... Its easy...really easy Sonakshi ! Don't look so frightened!
Before waiting for her reply, he got the pot filled with water . She was watching him admiringly and didn't realize he was talking to her...
Dev said in a mocking amusing voice : Ms Bose, are you going to help or let me do all the work? You can dice the garlic - no no...4 cloves will do ...on second thoughts. Let me do that! I don't want you to cut yourself..
Sona looked annoyingly at Dev and his high handed attitude: Mr Dixit, I can dice the garlic. I do help my mum in the kichen you know..not completely helpless you know..
He proceeded on dicing the garic finely and looked at with amusement : Really? You could have fooled me...you cant even make a sandwitch for yourself .uh uh tut.tut...stop it.! You know you cant. Admit it Ms Bose. I had to rescue you from you dying of hunger...
The pasta was boiling in the pot and he added some olive oil and salt...
After that he had the pan, garlic thrown in and with some cracked chilli ...and then then the prawns thrown in and then finally the drained pasta and ...
Dev declared proudly : And Viola...then with some grated cheese...here we go. Its done!
Sona was smiling at him ...Her Dev was really something...He did the task so effortlessly and seemed to enjoy it.
Sona said almost hesitantly : Dev...if its good as it smells, then I change my mind...I want to eat as well.
Dev smiled widely: I know you can't resist my pasta! You are on!
He plated it and brought a fork and spoon while humming a song.. They were standing beside each other at the island..
She was watching him...he was really enjoying himself . A Dev she has never seen before. Its almost if he went through an avatar change. Not that she is complaining and she can go the whole day just watching and admiring him...How did she ever call him cold, insensitive and Rude! He is none of those things...she must have been out of her mind...her Dev was the coolest guy!
"Sonakshi Bose...where have you gone to? Dev was talking to her and she was a million miles away once again!
Sona with a flushed cheekbones : Sorry Mr Dixit...okay okay Dev...I have to get used to it...
Dev rolled the pasta by the fork and turned to her to feed her and this caught her by surprise again...he did things most unexpectedly...life is going to be full of surprises...not boring at all with him
Sona looked at him and declined : Dev you must be very hungry...you eat first...I will eat later. Don't worry about me
Dev looked bemused and his head inclined to one side and said with determination : Oh... No NO, no no, you not going to escape by saying that.you are going to taste and tell me how I fair? Come, here...open your mouth...yes...that's it. !
With a smile hovering around his mouth, Dev then leaned and fed her , one hand so gently holding her chin ...
Dev raised his eyebrows and asked watching Sona's expression : And how is it?
Sona showed him two thumps up and opened her mouth wanting more...and Dev fed again lovingly, watching her chew each of the morsels ...and then she took the fork from him to feed him...
Dev gave a startled laugh of appreciation at her enthusiasm and with a wolfish grin, hungrily took what she fed him , holding her within the circle of his arms...and then slowly time passed
"ohhh aaahh yikes...aaah..."
" You said something? Dev lifting his head from nuzzling her neck... ..." I swear I heard something..."
And then they both heard it again as some strangled sounds were coming from the door way..
It was noneother than Radhah Rani...and she had the shocked expressed with her mouth with big "O" ...only thing was that she was frothing from her mouth and swaying on her feet and then "boom" she fell onto the ground! Again!
Dev looked across the gasping mami on the floor and asked Sona : I though you said she was sedated and sleeping?
Sona could not take her eyes off now at the twisting mami on the floor : She was!...Dev quick call 911, she seems to be having a spasm attack...anytime she can go into a stroke"
Dev stopped mid stride and stopped...
Sona shouted : Dev, please call the doctor now before its too late!!"
Dev seemed to be in deep thoughts and turn round and asked : Must I? Wouldn't it better if we let her go or otherwise she keeps coming back...at the most unexpected moments...Seriously Sona..She creeping up on us , has to stop...and what better way than now...think about it.
Sona looked at him in horror : Dev stop it!. I know what you mean but we need to save her...also, we cant be doing this in the house anymore...we need to be more discreet
Dev shook his head: I agree but ... Just incredible...! I will be damned!
