Chapter 24
"Madhu..!! I don't want to take this relation further. I want divorce from you. Here is the papers, sign them."RK forward her the papers, Madhu looked at him with tears in her eyes. "I love someone.." Madhu didn't let him say further, she took the paper from him and signed on it.
Madhu woke up with a jerk, she was sweating profusely, she looked around and found herself on the couch, "That..!! That was a dream.." She wiped her sweats and looked at RK who was sleeping on bed on his stomach, she recalled his conversation with lawyer, "But this dream is going to be true soon.." Thinking so her eyes filled with tears. Madhu quickly went to the washroom and splashed water on her face to reduce the redness on her eyes, she splashed water few more time but tears weren't stopping, they were flowing down, "I don't want to leave you RK. I.. I love you." She slide down on floor when she recalled him with a girl. "No Madhu..!! What are you doing? He doesn't love you. He isn't happy with you, you can't be so selfish, if you really loves him then you should let him go. Yes..!! I want to see him happy." She cried few more times.
It was near to 9am in the morning when RK woke up lazily, his eyes fall on the clock and woke up with a jerk, he looked around but didn't find Madhu there. "Madhu.. Madh..!!" He stopped thinking from now he will not trouble her for anything, he looked at the couch and didn't find his outfit there, he went to washroom disappointed.
Madhu was preparing breakfast table, but her mind was struck in somewhere else. "Madhu please pass the bowl." As Radha said Madhu passed the water jug, Radha looked at her confused whereas Ishita was so lost. "Madhu?" Radha came to her and shook her little that broke her trance, "Where are you lost?" Madhu simply shook her head. "Madhu..!! Don't lie to me. I am like your maa.. You can share anything. Did.. Did Rishu tell you anything?" Once again she shook her head but years formed out from her eyes, as Radha saw her she quickly made her seat. "Now tell me what happened?" "Maa.. You are right." Radha looked her confuse, "Maa.. I want to give another chance to our relation." Madhu said looking down, hearing this Radha hugged her. "It's good thing then why are you crying?" "Maa.. I think RK isn't ready for it. I think he doesn't want to take this relation further." "What are you saying Madhu..? I have seen him, he has feeling for you." Madhu looked up at her, she wanted to believe her but she even can't neglect what she heard or saw. "Maa RK.." But before Madhu could say anything Patil came with the phone, "Ma'am you have a call." He handover the phone to Radha. "Hello..!! No.. Don't worry she will be fine. Don't cry. I am coming..!!" As she hung up the call Madhu looked at her confused. "Pabo, I mean Rk's masi.. My didi isn't well, she has a massive heart attack. I have to go there." Radha worriedly said. "Yes maa.. You should go there. Don't worry about here, I will manage everything." Madhu assured her. "Thank you beta. By the way what you were saying.." Radha asked remembering Madhu was about to say something. Madhu shook her head with a smile saying, "Nothing maa. You go and take care of of Pabo. I will handle everything. Now you don't waste your time, go and start your packing." Radha blessed her and took leave. Just then RK arrived there and saw Madhu but ignored her saying, "Maa serve me the breakfast." "Maa is in her room, she has to go Jaipur, Pabo isn't well." She informed while serving him, RK looked at her and asked, "How did you know?" "Maa told me." "Oh..!! I am not hungry. I should meet her first." Saying this RK went to his parent's room.
After bidding adieu to Radha, RK left for his shoot whereas Mohan left for a meeting and Madhu went to do her household chorus. In the evening Madhu was sitting in her room idle as she had nothing to do now when she thought to check social site, so she logged in the facebook just then she heard a beep, she checked the message from Dipali, "Hi..!!" Madhu smiled thinking someone there to talk, though she had bad interaction with Dipali but now Madhu knew she had no relation with RK except friendship. "Hi..!! She replied." How's you. Okay wait.. Lets have a video chat."Dipali said and soon they came face to face. Madhu smiled slightly. "How are you Madhu? Wait.. Why are you looking so dull..? Did you again fight with RK?" "No." "Okay.. Then what happened Madhu?" She asked worried. "Dipali.. RK..!! He wants to divorce me." "What?? Divorce? Have you gone mad? Why should he divorce you?" She asked shock. "I don't know but may be he found someone else, may be he love someone else. Few days back I saw him with a girl, he was so comfortable with her." Tears rolled our from her eyes. "Madhu.. I think you are mistaken because RK.." But before Dipali could say anything Madhu heard some chirping so she said, "Dipali I think RK arrived. I will talk with you later." Saying this she logged out and went out from her room. She stood in the balcony and looked down where she found RK with the same girl and a lawyer with them, her heart skipped beat. "You sit here." Madhu heard him saying to the lawyer and held that girl's hand and proceed towards the staircase, Madhu ran inside her room crying thinking may be RK is coming to her asking for divorce, just then she heard a knock on door, she wiped her tears and pretends as if she knew nothing. "Madhu..?" She turned at door and found RK with the girl. "Madhu.. This is Riya, my friend. And Riya . This is Madhubala, my wife." Madhu looked at RK amazed as he introduced her as his wife, she was confuse as well. "Hi Madhu.. I heard enough about you from RK." Madhu looked at RK who went to the study table, Madhu smiled. "Madhu.. A lawyer is sitting down, please serve him some snacks." Madhu nodded and was going to leave, she was near to the door when she heard him saying, "Now sign on the paper, after that you will be from this unwanted relation." Madhu's feet automatically stopped right there, she hide aside so that they couldn't see her. "Thank you RK. You helped me a lot." Riya said. "No. Riya..!! Don't thank me. I am quiet surprise as how did you spend these years with a guy who tortured you so much." "Yes. I truly loved him. I thought he would change someday but no..!! He accused me that I have extra affair, he called me characterless." She cried. Madhu felt guilty that she doubt on them but at the other side she was happy that RK isn't going to divorce her. "Riya.. Be strong..!! You have to fight against him." Riya wiped her tears and said, "Thank you so much RK." "Now sign on it and lets go down." As Madhu heard she quickly left from there.
Madhu walked in the kitchen happily, she recalled Rk's conversation with Riya, "Oh..!! How stupid I am.. I thought RK.." She hit on her head. "But why did he behaving so weird in these days.. May be..!! For stress." She started preparing some snacks thinking, "But whatever..!! I am happy that RK didn't want to divorce me." She smiled widely but in next moment her smile vanished thinking, "But.. What if he someday really asked me..!! No No.. I.. I will tell him about my feelings. But if he doesn't feel the same like me then.. No no..!! Whatever happens, I will never leave him." She sighed deeply to ease the chain of thoughts from her mind.
At night, Madhu walked in the bed room after finishing her works, she saw him packing his staffs. Madhu stare at him for sometime and then asked, "RK are you going somewhere?" RK looked up at Madhu and replied, "Yes. I have outdoor shoot." "Outdoor shoot..? But you didn't mention about it before." She said with hesitation. "Should I need to do every single thing before asking you?" He sarcastically asked. "No. I didn't mean it. Actually.. Ugh..!! If you tell me before.. Then.. Then we could go.." "Come on Madhu.. I am not going there for family trip damn it..!! It can take more than two weeks there and if I takes you, what will you do there alone? I will be busy in shoot..!!" Madhu made a face thinking, "Why don't you say clearly that you don't want to take me." "Madhu..?" "Hmm..!!" "Why don't you go to your Malik's house? You didn't visit them since long." He suggested. "No. It's okay. Maa will be back tomorrow. I am fine here." RK nodded and was going to start his packing when she asked, "Can I help you?" "No. It's ok. I will manage." Madhu nodded and went to the couch. She stared at him and noticed his every single movement, "Madhu tell him that you love him." She thought but before she could take any action she saw him calling someone so she thought to say him later. It was late night, Madhu was tossing and turning on the couch, she saw him sleeping so peacefully but sleep was far away from her eyes. She sat back on couch, "Why am I feeling so restless? May be..!! I am super excited. I think, I should write a letter because when he stands before me, I gets freeze." She mumbled and decided to write a letter. Madhu turned on a dum light and took a notebook and a pen. She wrote, 'Mr. Akdoo..!!' "Akdoo?? Who mentioned your husband as Akdoo?? No.." She tore the page. Then she wrote, 'Dear RK' "RK..? He is RK for the world.. No..!!" She made faces and again tore the page. "Then what should I write?" She thought for a while and said, "Love..??" But instantly made face thinking, "It's getting filmy. Then.." She sat putting her palm on her cheek, she looked at RK who stirred little but again comfortably slept, Madhu lost in his face, her lips curved with a smile.

"Rishabh.." She said with a smile, and her own voice broke her trance, she smiled widely and then wrote a letter and kept it inside his blazer.
Next morning, RK was getting ready to leave when Madhu walked in and saw the blazer was lying on bed. "RK your coffee..!!" Madhu forward the cup to him, he took a sip when his phone rang, "Yes Bittuji.. Okay.. I am coming." He hang up the call and looked at Madhu, "Take care of yourself." His voice choked, Madhu was confused to see the change in him, his eyes were shining as if tears will come out any time. "You too take care RK." She gave a fade smile, RK swayed away his eyes from her and took his luggage when Madhu said, "Ugh..!! RK..!! I.. I kept a paper in your pocket, please read them once." RK looked at her once and take out the paper but was going to open it when again his phone rang. "No hurries RK. You can read it later." RK smiled slightly and again kept in his pocket and bid bye to her and left the room. Madhu's eyes filled with tears, she wished once RK turned at her but he didn't but somewhere she was happy that she wrote her feelings. "I will wait for your answer." She smiled amidst of her tears.
RK kept the luggage in his car and looked up at the building tears in his eyes, her face came in front of his eyes but he controlled his emotions before Bittuji saw. "Chief..!! Shall we go?" RK nodded and gets inside the car. They were on the way to airport, RK was so lost in Madhu's thought, all he could remember his harsh behaviour towards her. "I am sorry Madhu..!!" He thought, just then he remembered Madhu told him that she kept a paper, he again took out to read but as usual before he could read he got a call. "Yes.. No I know what I am doing. You just do what I told you." He hang up the call and looked at the letter, he didn't feel to read it right now so once again kept in it pocket and closed his eyes to ease the thoughts of Madhu.
