I love how they're showing the court proceedings.
Firstly the size up on the court steps. Suhasini talks to Swadeentha as a senior lawyer; a more experienced one trying to gauge a rookie's mettle.
Swadeentha is in her lawyer shoes. Not the hurt girl walking in the shadows of her sasural , ignored and ostracized. Dry eyed, she apologizes for the situation. But before she leaves her own home to come to theirs, she needs to do her duty as a daughter first.
Suhasini looks like a thought had suddenly flew into her analytical mind. She wasn't thinking like an officer of the court before; she was purely a grieving and angry mother.
And as Jaya rues, "Why is she like this? Why is she so stubborn about this? " I can see Suhasini's brain wheels turning furiously to get bearings. I used to love watching her piece evidence together.
They know Swadeentha. She doesn't insist stubbornly for nothing. I may be wrong but I think Suhasini might be the one to see holes in the prosecution case, but forced to keep quiet because of their involvement with Allan Broad.
The Sinhas walk into court in an intimidating front. Suhasini salutes all the officers, even the judge. And are seated grimly for the prosecution.
The prosecution lawyer is cocky and thinks he has this case in the bag. It looks obvious the police just neatly stuffed the facts in a gift wrapped box without proper investigations.
Swadeentha doesn't look nervous , that's encouraging. She looks like she knows what to do and has prepared.
Plus this hearing was the trial of Haider for terrorist acts, not the murder of Abhay Sinha. Because the presumed murderer is dead. I'm curious as to how the writers are going to present this.
Gripping episode, very exciting ..
