I guess. Lekin mere liye to main bolungi I love Hindi... Or despite the fact I am a mallu , I am almost a north indian... Mein north indian khan khaathi soon, almost on a daily basis hindi main baath karahi soon, unk i customs or ceremonies ko pasand karti hoon, 8 sale bachpan mein yahan bithaye the aur ab yahan Delhi mein medicine pursue karthi soon...One of the reasons I was so excited when i actually got into AIIMS was probably the fact I get to be back in delhi ... And i watch mostly hindi and english programmes... I used to hate the kind of shows that drag and was so excited when i finally saw now with logic and sense :)

Though my mother tongue is kannada, I can understand n speak hindi very well after all I studied hindi for 8 years in school n had hindi speaking friends n not to forget our oldest channel Doordarshan, I've grown up watching it. So TV can be a great medium to learn languages.
