I wanted to take the time to make a post about Shagun, because I, like many, take sadistic pleasure in her pain.
Forget about shades, whether it's whiter than white, chrome, silver, grey black. Whatever.
What it comes down to, is that miss shaguniya, is an opportunist.
When it suits her, that is when she sees how crazy in love Ishita and Raman are, she's white. And manoj is her security then. Here, being white matters, because there is no way in hell she can really get in between Raman and Ishita.
So therefore, she adapts to being good. And that's what we have seen more recently before the leap. And there really was no other way of getting into the bhallas' good books. No other way Raman would tolerate her after the earthquake fiasco. So apparently Shagun becomes this born again Devi.
The minute Ishita goes however, she takes advantage. And that's what we saw in the past seven years. Ishita is gone, and shaguniya attempts her level best to take her place. She does Create a place for herself in the home. She does. But it still isn't, it can't be, Ishita's place.
So she settled. She has everything, nearly, that she lost. Nearly. Raman can barely tolerate her
For more than a minute.
And even she knows she can't replace Ishita.
Doesn't stop her from trying though.
And the minute Raman, in his anger asks her to marry him, she thinks, yes, I've got everything now.
She was an opportunist when she left Raman. She's an opportunist when she tries to get married to him again
When it suits her, she is practically Ishita's disciple. The minute Raman and Ishita are in conflict, she uses every excuse under the sun to justify her wanting permanence in the household.
Forget shades, and her sudden goodness, or her chameleon affect, Shagun looks for her opportunities and strikes.
And now she's going to get desperate. Because she's running out of opportunities, now the one that no one could ever, ever replace is back.
Ishita Bhalla came after Shagun, and replaced her within minutes. Shaguniya has been at it for seven years, and Raman can beardy giver her the time of day.
So if we talk in shades now, current shade is desperation. I guess that coverts into black.
She started her journey taking pride in the idea Raman could never get over her. But he fell in love with Ishita within a year, and fell so deeply in love, has spent the last seven years not able to move on.
As Gan's hilarious post yesterday demonstrated, karma is b***h.
