But here, w/ a total of 208, even if RCB did manage 10 runs an over for the first 10 overs, problem was that they had to sustain that throughout the match. After ABdV, it's hard to sustain, and once AB was gone, it was uphill. Watto is capable of big hitting while opening, but rarely has had much success in the late middle order. AB has, but for that, he has to come in early: whenever he comes in w/ runs already on the board, he goes cheaply, like it happened here.

Cutting - the deserved MoM - was decisive: first w/ some pinch hitting that went unmatched from the RCB side, and then w/ his bowling, which while expensive during Gayle-Virat's stint at the crease, became much better once they were gone.

Yes, you are right.. it was not that big of total for them to chase.. what made difficult was bhuvi and fizz .. The problem with RCB on finals was failure of the middle order, after Gayle, kholi and ABD there were no other batsman who pulled it up for them against SRH bowlers and ABD and Kholi's wickets were quick, after kohli... abd didn't get that buffer time to settle down .. and lost his wicket .. with no settled batsman at one end.. the middle order collapsed .

Yes those initial 10 overs .. they owned it.. but 114/1 and 140/2 turned the game around ..with gayle and kohli out of the field... yess Watson was never successful in the middle order ... though expensive to start with ... . cutting got the first break for SRH with Gayle's wicket :)) and later on he was great !!

@Suyash , that is what I loved the most about this team and this win.. the bowling lethally dominated the best of batting line up , specially in this format of the game.. I was soo bored of watching batting dominating the matches ...but it's not the same now...
Nehra ji's presence was missed .. but the young lot contained and maintained that "strength and character" in bowling !!👏
+1 on Naman Ojha , he was incredible as keeper, no share of mistakes..great keeping .. he would have been great if he had contributed his share with batting !! nevetheless he was fab as keeper!!

@Zindagi-Samrata , yess initially they failed with ball and bat,.. but picked up with bowling when Nehra ji was back and then there is no looking back and batting warner was single man army for most of it.. but during the middle of the tournament he got support from the likes of dhawan, yuvi, henriques, and by bipul sharma nd ben cutting with the bat, towards the end and in the finals .. over all great team effort as stated by Warner and his captaincy !! ⭐️

thanks munni for the appreciation ,i still doing more coz nothing but its absolute pleasure to watch SRH winning movement again & again 😆

i agreed with u in fact i really disappointed with SRH batting especially in dhawan's out of form , first match against GL he back after that he score maiden ,now he is in 5th position ,of course our Yuvi he didnt score half century or century but its special when he hit Six & all all rounders especially ben cutting Warner 's gr8 decision he pick cutting ,bipul in Q2 he relieve the tension of warner in last Overs especially when he hit six in bravo over's last ball amazing, i think warner also changed a lot last season he some time used to be tensed ,this season he entirely so cool except some misfileding
and i m so happy with a fact this is the first team who prove the power and important of bowling unit, steyn, samy, bhuvi ,nehra ,fizz, especially Bhuvi (he is main reason i start to love SRH but he slightly out of form in death overs) however he developed vry well under the guidance of Ashish nehra...in future i really wish Bhuvi will be bowling inspiration to the youngster

SRH derserved the title, after their batsmen scored 208 keeps running in the primary innings. David Warner played an immense hand in that aggregate, scoring 38-ball 69, and Ben Cutting completed off the innings in a fantastic style, as he hit a mind blowing three sixes in the last over. Cutting had essential influence in helping SRH score more than 200 runs.

Cutting's was an all-round performance: had it been batting alone, it would have gone to Warner. Cutting made that quickfire 39, and also was the lead bowler, w/ 2 wickets, including Gayle.
