IKRS Friday 3rd June 2016 ep 266 My Take ~ The demon and the flower fairy..
Wouldn't it be lovely if the world was magical! Magic that would give us what we crave for and zap away all that we dislike! wouldn't it just be charming! if happy tunes played all day , peals of laughter rang around us! Tears drops face banishment! and smiles galore roll out with every spoken word! An enchanted land of kings and queens, witches and warlocks, knights and damsels in distress. A mystifying land, where a mighty grouchy ,grumpy demon, transforms into a cheeky cheerful angel! under the spell of the captivating flower fairy! The episode continues with the touching story of a mighty handsome demon king who once smiled himself and made others around him smile too . But then one night a selfish wicked witch cast a spell on him! and the demon king lost all his smiles! he forgot how to smile .. Then one magical day when balloons floated in the skies the day, drums vibrated with life the demon king was zapped! by the magical wand of the flower fairy! and suddenly he remembers how to smile again! .. now ever since then, the demon king smiles but only with the flower fairy herself. The flower fairy flits around the demon king as she magically teaches him to break the spell of the wicked witch.. but the flower fairy is unaware that the demon king is also in love with the queen of the flowers fairies who he has lost somewhere.. that will be the day may be when the demon king will share his smiles with all other than the flower fairy!
Back in Banaras it's still talk of property between ancestral lands between , Tripurari , Kanak , Dashrant as it matters most to this trio obsessed with wealth and power. However things in terms of power position and control have changed considerably. Dashrant now plays the second fiddle and wants Tripurari his love child ,presently at the helm of AN affairs, to transfer the ancestral lands on to Viplav's name. Tripurari dismisses the rightful heir Viplav , as a right off! a womaniser who is hell bent on passing family wealth over to the women he enters into marriage with! Kanak and Dashrant insist for the transfer, but Tripurari too, manipulates the two as he craftily demands for his share ! Dashrant dares to refuses, so Tripurari now lord and master blackmails him, what if Kamini finds out all this transfer? she will get in there !and transfer everything in her name and them lot, thick as thieves! will end up penniless! So when the black cat Kamini is away , these mice play! crawl out to plot and plan..nothing much has changed here in AN..
In Mumbai , for some reason ,Viplav checks out Dhani's picture in his wallet, it slips from his hand onto the ground! On the table next to fallen photo, Viplav notices a ladies golden clutch bag! opens it and finds the flower fairy's photo stuck to an admission letter. Viplav informs mrs kaushik ,to him it seems this girls mum has left her purse behind; also seems, an important form, it has the home address too..a purse contains, personal belongings of the owner, here due to the information that it holds, the ownership of the contents ends up becoming shared ownership.. the flower fairy as joint property belonging to Dhani and Viplav! Mrs, kuashik says not to worry she'll inform them. Nosey Kamini, comes, tries to pull the form out of his hands, but Viplav rudely pulls it away from her and strolls off! she calls him and he walks off regardless! Embarrassed she says her husband is a bit too responsible.. to others yes and to her, totally nonchalant! Viplav never took orders from any one, expect his heart, his inherent sense of responsibility chives him to hand deliver the purse to the stated address.. there was a time in the past where Dhani wanted a letter delivered to him! it never got to him! Kamini got in first!this time she tries again but.. this time Viplav is in charge! he sits in his car... Dhani and Parsiya arrive too to collect her purse, they pause briefly outside the gate. Viplav seated in the rear of his car is driven past her back.. Dhani experiences a strange nearness, simultaneously it ripples his heart too! abruptly he bids the driver to stop! slants his head and looks over his shoulder from the rear window of the car.. no one he knows is there but the feeling did happens nevertheless.. Ishq ! Ishq! a near miss of two stars that cross each other silently..
Vidha plays outside her house with the neighbourhood children, Dulari tells her she's popping over to the shops will be back, play and stay before the house, asks a neighbour to oversee.. Viplav arrives in the area, crosses Dulari she goes the other way. viplav asks for the address and finds his flower fairy right away! one look at him makes him smile as she marches up to him looks up at him folds her arms across her chest and demands, what is demon doing here? he towers over her then with a smile comes down to her level so he can have a closer look at her and asks where is her mum? She pulls a face, and he teases, looks like bag of complaints is still annoyed.. and she replies with a wave of her palm up in the air , her name is not bag of complaints its Vidha! Smitten by her he asks, who does she think he? Demon! she replies, as still standing she looks down at his crouched frame, her lower lip in mouth! ready to challenge him . Viplav surrenders, tells her she can call him demon . She spots the purse how come he's got it, he replies he wanted to steal this picture of the flower fairy ! she wants her photo back, he pulls it back like a game! she wants it! playfully he keeps dodging it from her! he teases her! she finally threatens him ,if he doesn't give her the letter she'll fall down on purpose! dirty her frock ,then her mum will tell him off! he laughs heartily! and the flower fairy, scolds him stop laughing! Give it!she demands and he pulls a snubbed look! He still waves the form around out of her reach! and she threatens just you wait and is about to push his knees backwards and he yells noo what a drama queen she is! and hands over the purse and form ,asks her to tell her mother, she left her purse in the wedding hall! And he came to return it.. then he reaches for his pocket and does what his heart tells him, would she like a selfie with him? flower fairy after a thought goes , fine.. and he goes one two three click! and he beams as he shows her the selfie she grabs the phone off him, such a big phone! yes nice picture , he takes his phone back .brushes his palm on her cheek and hauls himself , ok then ,he's off now! but she invites him to have a glass of water ,he dithers, he's busy but she pulls him into the house like a meek lamb!.. Vidha was out playing games with neighbours children.. the game of love happens when Viplav arrives.. a father needs no training in how to keep his five year old engaged in random games! The heart gives the rules and moves of this street pastime where both players father and daughter end up as winners!
Parsiya and Dhani run into a spot of bother with bossy Simone yet again. who pokes fun at them for coming for a free meal! Dhani retorts , that's not what she's here for! its for her purse, she needs the money for her daughters admission fee! Simone is in the mood to humiliate them further. but mrs khaushik turns up and tells Dhani she wanted to contact her ,one of her guest found her purse! and mentions the guests room.. overall Dhani enjoys a feel good factor that she has come a long way from her Banaras days where she would come running back to the house if she came across trouble outside the house.. now she gives as good she gets life has taught her to do away with being a victim on the receiving end and to fight injustice! Be it Simone!
Viplav's sits on the bed as his little flower fairy hostess serves him a glass of water.. well brought up child ,knows how to treat guests.. her mum must bring up with sound yet simple values,muses Viplav as he accepts with a smile. Vidha sits by her and he asks her who else stays in this house with her she tells him, her nanny ,mum and babaa.. he wants to know if she goes to school and she confides in him her mum wants to send her big school. She tells him her mum is just great! would he like to see her photo? He goes hummm.. and off she goes!
Parsiya and Dhani stop outside the guest room.. are hesitant to enter although the door is unlocked.. Dhani's picture stands on the side board .. outside they decide not to enter but the photo is knocked , it falls face down on to the floor and Dhani's heart stops her departing footsteps. The colour of Ishq is white my beloved! and without a second thought she barges into the room and goes to the face down photo !that sings out to her soul the colour of Ishq is white.. a calling from the past ,a pining for the past!in her clumsyness she knocks Viplav's opened suit case on the floor!she gathers the clothes and carries the suit case to the foot of the bed... Parsiya tells her to stuff the clothes in it! and that they should leave... the feel of the clothes makes the words of the song ring ! the colur of Ishq is memories of how she used to fold his clothes... somehow under a spell her fingers fold each the clothing items.. a strange satisfaction she gets! Vidha stands behind Viplav with the photo of Dhani. Dulari and herself in her hand ready to show to the demon.. the colour of Ishq is white! Pure the truth! unseen ,undeclared! unknown but still the colour of Ishq is truth! Vidha comes around the bed towards Viplav !dhani zips his suitcase ready packed in the guest room! and places it on the side board, then finally she picks up the face down photograph facing outwards !then turns to see it... Vidha gives Viplav the picture to see! and there is a power ! both Viplav and Dhani face ignorance about each other's nearness as time imposes a black out upon them! Vidha's photo flies out of Viplav's hand and lands at the side of the bed out of his sight! as he holds Vidha and supports her from being frightened ..parsiya tells Dhani its dark ,put the picture down and lets go people might take them for thieves! She complains about not finding her bag but he insists they leave! as soon as they leave the light comes back on!and shines on Dhani's picture!
The light brings back a smile on Viplav's face and he asks to leave from his hostess the flower fairy they part as friends and shake hands on it ...she wanted him to meet her maa, but he says next time! before he leaves she wants to know his name to tell her mamaa? he says demon uncle! she delays him and finally gives him leaving gifts him Parsiya s sketch of superman, tells him its her papa! And Viplav leaves with oodles of joys ,smiles, memories in his heart and her selfie on his phone! hope the wicked witch doesn't see it.. the symbol of photo runs through the episode.. a photo.. an image of something passing..but through the eye of the camera made permanent..its making captive ,a moment or a loved one everlasting .. how close are they to reality these replica's of life.. Ishq Ishq! Dhani's picture in his wallet and in his room.. Viplav's selfie of Vidha and himself..how long can one live with support from images.. Ishq ! ishq!..??
Viplav comes back to wedding asks, Simone on what basis she kicked the florist? There work was sub standard and her reputation was at stake so she fired them! Viplav tells her curtly , says was it substandard or they didn't like the working conditions she offered them,. Viplav reminds her of professional ethics! as such she needs to give then back their job Simone refuses,s ays she told mrs kaushik if she didn't like their work she would fire them Viplav says then he too refuses to fight mr kushik's case , she says why ? Viplav replies he'll do so exactly like Simone did fire people without a good reason! Mrs kushik tells Simone to hire them back! and forget about her status and ego. Simone refuses she will not be coerced so Viplav says by profession he is a lawyer fights for people's rights, he won't allow her to deprive people of their hard earned dues! she needs to keep this is mind and not only will she give them back their job but she will also apologize to them and now mrs kaushik the decision is hers..she tell Simone to call them back! besides their truck load of flowers has arrived! They were not lying after all! Yet Simone refuses and mrs kushik tells her she'd better! or else she will take her sons wedding contract back from her! Simone still refuses by mrs kushik assures viplav she will call them back and satisfied he leaves although Dhani gets herself a new foe! Simone ..
At home vidha plays clapping gamed with Parsiya and dhani say she's checked everything is in tact in her purse.dhani asks what was the name of the uncle and after a think sh says demon uncle Dhani says who ? what did she say ? and vidha says. Rakshas uncle , Dhani asks but what is his name? Vidha replies doesn't know his name but he's exactly like the demon in the story she tells! very angry but he loves her a lot! dulari smiles may he be blessed he came and returne everything in tact , means goodness in humanity stll exists, Parsiya says they need to thank him, but thanks? says dhani they don't even know him, never met him..dont know who he might be ?? Vidha says she will introduce her to him lets go then Parsiya goes, no can't go now its late now will go tomorrow but Dhani says, no it has to be done today as he too left the wedding and came to return out bag.. Ishq ! Ishq .. the colour of Ishq is putting an end to all the vibes she is getting of him being around.. Vidha too says she met pappaa has she really ? Dhani specualates..
Another lovely episodes with tiny messages of possible a further continuing the story of Vidha.. hammie is looking forward to it.. Mishal is such a fine actor ..his face tells a thousand tales.. each expression patent and better than the one before.. a fine episode with endearing scenes.. the final Viplav scene as a lawyer was stand up ovation.my dread..will kamini see dhani before viplav???
