Kamya Punjabi: Vivian will play my son, but we look like a couple

"Vivian and I look like a couple," she laughs, adding, "The channel and the creative team had a difficult time to finalise the look that will make me look like his mother. Since they wanted me on the show, they had to compromise a little. And I intend to make up for it through my performance. It won't be difficult as I have played mother to Mohit Malikin 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhann' ."
Apparently, even her reel son isn't convinced about her playing his mom. Kamya recounts, "Vivian and his wife Vahbiz (Dorabjee) are my friends. I have never worked with him before. When I met him on the set, he kept joking that he is still not convinced that I could play his mother. I even slapped him in fun, which amused the director who said that this is what he wants from us in the show. Vivian told Vahbiz about it, who too found it funny." Kamya will be shown as a romantic wife, a fun-loving woman and a doting mother, who is also a friend to her son in the show.
