To the person who writes the dialogues for this show,
YOU KILLED ME TODAY!
I have exams in about 4 days and I have a 3000 word research paper due in about 36hours (clue- I have typed two words on the entire paper, my name 🤣), but here I am making this post, fangirling and just fangirling
Firstly, NEEL! Baby Ne khud ke feet per hammer drop kar diya (I couldn't spell the whole phrase in Hinglish, I need practise 😆). Was kinda cute actually! I really like the "Kya banati hai Ms Bose" by Dev! I actually saw a sassy Dev today. And I think I fell in love just a little more. Something about sassy/sarcastic guys that is very attractive. What a breather from all the maa worshiping. Kinda surprised, kinda happy that the whole fake boyfriend drama has ended! It didn't even last for a whole week and I am glad. Storylines like these mess up the original steady plot and in all honesty nautanki, like what we saw today is only so tolerable. After a while it comes annoying and I am glad it's out of the way. Short and sharp is the way to go!
Which brings me to Ishwari. This is more yesterday's episode than today's. But the CVs did an impeccable job! They really really highlighted her insecurities when she was talking to Sona. So that in the future tracks, the bombshell isn't so out of the blue, the hints have been dropped from now! Well done CV party, I am glad you are already incorporating the possessiveness into Ishwari's behaviour! Maybe the CV have made certain aspects of this show a finite thing? I really hope so because when I started watching QH I was really pumped for the two brothers angle but then they ruined it thanks to the bharatiya jaanta and their TRP politics! I started to ramble. No getting back on Ishwari, I loved the way Supriyaji's expressions changed when she was talking about his orange shirt and how maybe Natasha is influencing Dev! Her insecurities and pure horror at sharing her son with another woman was so tangible! I could also feel how glad she was when Sona reassured her that Dev will always only listen to her and no another woman. I gah. Dies
The main to make this entire post though. The dialogues. I feel that an actor really does shine when the dialogues allow them to.
Today's Dev-Riya-Nikki scene killed me! We don't really know a lot about their personalities until these kind of scenes come along and add dimension to their character! Like Riya until today I just thought of her as an ambitious and hardworking girl who doesn't want to use her brothers name to get good offers in her work. Today we saw how adorable and naive she is really. "Ooh kyun romantic par?" Oh Riya you are as clueless as I am in life 🤪. I actually really liked this scene! The dynamics between the trio need to be explored more! The CVs are you listening? Me wants more of these scenes, I am willing to ruin my gpa for this 😆.
What else? I found Dev really cute today. I just did, like "puppy needs to be protected from this world" sort of cute. We need to rechristen Dev from "maa worshiper" to "Multifaceted Dev" or or "501 shades of DD". "Orange is also a colour by Dev Dixit". what else? I am open to suggestions, my pun making skills have gone for a toss, thanks to anatomy exams. I shall try later on!
Sona's outburst at the end of the episode though! There was earlier a thread on this forum named "Single Girl Problems" by I forgot the username but she really did predict everything Sona said in this episode! From being considered boring to those pity looks you get whenever you tell someone you are single! Probably the most relatable thing in today's episode in my opinion, most single girls will agree 😆.
Also the precap. Gujral is really pushing the engagement and the deal. See people only push for certain things if they want to sweep something under the carpet. Is there something we don't know about Natasha? Or is Gujral just manipulating Dev to get engaged so he can secure his beti's future and all that? I think I might the first! I wonder if Sugar factory in human form has a backstory now? Interesting indeed, it's probably just Gujral being greedy though. He does come off as an opportunistic sort of man 🤔
Weekend has just started and I want it to end already so I can see what happened! Can't wait till Tuesday (I have to wait till the episode gets uploaded

PPS- "You won't get scared shooting arrows in the dark right" I really did try typing that out in Hinglish, I did, but I failed. That aside, what a spin on the original saying. Dialogue writer you need to take a bow for today's funky lines. 🤗
