Ekta used to easily rule Starplus with shows like Kyunki , Kasauti and Kahani ,Kahiin toh hoga ...Why would not she ? With no competition and less channels in the 90's everyone would watch only her shows...
This was the time every actor of her show used to get biggies at award functions, be it any award function ha ha ha , But still we could see the articles claiming she pressurizes the organizers and even fights with them for the awards 😆
Ever noticed ? every Tom Dick , and harry couple from Ekta shows keep getting Best couples awards ? ! Any guesses why ?
Best couple awards give the biggest promotions to a show in the true sense. ... Secondly, No one can deny the fact that the content in her shows is never praised , Neither the couples are ideal or inspirational to look out for lol - lol - lol ha ha ha.Such insecurity drives her forward even harder to get/ purschase awards...
Years went by, shows like Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai, Diya aur baati hum , Bidai came.They truely changed the face of indian TV. A good content was oozing out , TRP records were being made, Award functions were rocking with these names. Rajan Shahi and Shashi Sumeet Mittal are trend setters in the true sense who knocked Ekta Show's crap fully !!!!!... These shows continued to rule and shine even brighter.
Finally Finally Finally
YHM, Kumkum bhagya and Nagin came. nd Ekta was back in the game.But Sadly Neither Kumkum bhagya nor YHMor Nagin could get the record breaking trp which shows like Sathiya, Diya aur baati , yeh rishta and Bidai used to get... So what to do now? Try harder to prove that Balaji's shows are better than the rest ? Now comes the time to fix the awards more religously. Ofcourse I CANNOT deny the fact that she is richer and influential than other PRODUCTION houses ... So all is easy .😳
Yesterdays Starparivaar awards seemed like a pre- planned or rather desperate attempt to prove it to all the trp rockers i.e Diya bati, yeh rishta , Sathiya that they are absolutely nothing ...LOL - LOL - ha ha ha .
Gosh the speech by Karan patel and others seemed they were there to mock everyone claiming their chemistry is the best - lol '' self praise is no praise '' ha ha ha...No one was impressed - PERIOD
Too bad, fans think YHM won on the merit , While everyone out there is sure Ekta fxed all these awards for the team - Why would not she? After a long time her shows started getting some below average trp ...
The trend which I could see in the 90's like every tom dick and harry of Ekta shows used to get awards , started coming around last year once again ... Ekta was on a ful fixation spree lol - lol BACK WITH A BANG. Starparivar awards was just an extention of it ...
YHM has international fanbase really ,are they even aired internationally much ?Same goes for Kumkum bhagya and nagin - But Yeh rishta kya kehlata is very popular internationally and Diya aur baati hum is airing in 18 countries right now.👏😉
I doubt all her current shows will last till next year, SO yeah ...Let the fans get this happiness which is short lived .

In the end... A good move by Starplus , Finally nayi soch award given to Sandhya and the nominations in this category were inspirational itself .This biggest award presented by Uday shankar himself knocked out YHM once again 😉😛
