today SBB show that the concept of Shakti is similar to Pakistani movie Bol n Indian movie Darmiyaan...I never heard the Indian movie name..anyone have any idea about Bol or Darmiyaan?..they also said it is a very bold concept...RS said that this thing happen in India which people needs to know..

m getting tensed after watching SBB today... They said that show is based on a bold theme n is inspired by Pakistani movie Bol which means Soumya is a transgender male-assigned-at-birth daughter

This maybe the reason why somu was not allowed to sit in kanjak

I read about these movies on Wikipedia

I think we should have some patience let them chance to shape up the story and the mistry to unfold rs herself said she's experimenting with some different types of love story so we should give them some time

Thanks a lot for this segment Debo.

But if this is indeed the concept of the show then it should be executed properly.For this is a very sensitive issue.

Even I am confused like the others.How will a love story fit into this story??

If this is based on the BOL movie then I think that Soumya was born with both male and female parts but her mother choose for her to be raised as a girl instead of a boy. The father thinks probably that the child should be killed instead of living and her mother saved her. This does not mean Soumya is a transgender. This is just my opinion. Transgender means if you were born as a man and decides that you feel that you are a woman inside and goes about dressing as a woman or gets surgery to become a woman. I don't think India is ready for that type of show on television. Please let the story unfold.
