Arnav, Khushi and Riya were enjoying the game when Khushi's phone rang.

"Amma?!!" thought Khushi looking at the name flashing. She checked the time, "Oh no!!"

She picked up the call...

"Khushi, where are you?"

"Amma, main abhi nikal rahi hoon...!" said Khushi, getting up in hurry. I am leaving now.

Khushi cut the call. She could sense Garima's anger.

"What happened?" asked Arnav.

"Amma had called! I must leave now, it's quite late..." said Khushi.

They switched off the game. As Arnav knelt down to pick up the joysticks, Riya kissed on his cheek saying, "Thank you Chachu!"

This was totally unexpected for Arnav. He didn't know how to react. He just walked away without any reaction. Riya frowned.

Khushi and Riya too came out of the room. Khushi was nervous on seeing everyone sitting there.

Anup and Akash congratulated Arnav and Khushi on the successful meeting with Mr. Mark.

"I must leave now..." said Khushi to no one in particular.

"Arey Khushi, kuchh kha lo humaare saath..." offered Anup. Have something with us...

"Thank you Sir... but I have to leave now...!"

"Khushi, have some soup atleast...!" said Payal.

Khushi was desperate to reach home now, especially after her mother's call. She didn't understand how to refuse. Akash sensed her helplessness.

"Payal, let her go if she wants to, don't force her" said Akash. "But Khushi," he continued "next time we will not let you leave like this!!"

Everyone smiled. Khushi felt relieved that she could leave at once. She just smiled.

"How are you going home Khushi?" asked Nilima.

"I have got my bike" said Khushi wearing her chappals.

"But it is quite late beta..." said Anup. "Arnav, go drop Khushi home!"

"No Sir, it's okay... I will go by myself, no problem Sir...!! I am used to it!" said Khushi immediately.

"Khushi, it is not safe to go home alone at this hour..." said Nilima.

"But..." Khushi tried to speak.

"Arey Khushi let Arnav come to drop you..." said Akash teasing Arnav, "Waise bhi aaj tak koi ladki uski gaadi ki front seat par nahi baithi hai...!!" Anyways, no girl has ever got a chance to sit in the front seat in his car!

"Haan!! Don't miss the chance Khushi!!" said Payal as everyone laughed. Khushi just looked down. Arnav got irritated and left to take out his car.

As Khushi was about to leave, Riya called out to her...

"Khushi Didi!!" said Riya, "When will you come again to play with me?"

"Didi?!!!" exclaimed Payal making a crooked face.

"Payal chup raho...!!" said Akash pulling her hand.

"Arey woh apni honewaali chachi ko 'Didi' kyun keh rahi hai...?" murmured Payal. Why is she calling her future Chachi as Didi?

"Shhh!!!" said Akash.

"Riya, why are you calling her Didi?" asked Payal.

Everyone was confused. Why does Payal have a problem with that?

"Woh hum party mein gaye thay na... Chhota Bheem bhi tha... Wahan mere saare Friends Khushi Didi keh rahe thay..." said Riya.

Then everyone got that Khushi called her 'Didi' because all the kids at the Orphanage called her Didi.

"Batao na Didi... when will you come again to play with me?" asked Riya pulling Khushi's dupatta.

"I will surely come whenever I get time, okay?" said Khushi with a smile, of course not taking it seriously.

Riya was very happy. Khushi left.

Arnav was waiting at the gate in his car. Khushi walked to the car. And she remembered what Akash had said, that no girl had ever sat on the front seat. So she went and opened the back door to get in.

"What are you doing?" yelled Arnav.

Khushi afraid. "Woh Akash Sir keh rahe thay ki..."

"Chup chap saamne aake baitho!! Come and sit in the front!" He ordered. "I don't want people to think that I am your driver!!" he murmured.

Khushi giggled and sat in the front.

"Fasten your seat belt!!" instructed Arnav as he fastened his.

Khushi just looked around not knowing what to do.

"Ab kya dhoond rahi ho?" said Arnav irritated. What are you searching now?

Khushi just looked at him innocently. "Mujhe nahi pata seat belt kaise lagaate hai..." she said in a low voice. I don't know how to put on the seat belt...

Arnav sighed.

"Actually, we haven't got a car... Main kabhi car mein baithi nahi hoon na..." explained Khushi.

"It's okay..." said Arnav as he unbuckled his belt. "I will show you..."

Arnav leaned over Khushi to get hold of her seat belt. Khushi had not expected this. She stopped breathing for a moment. She just closed her eyes. He was too close. The fragrance of his perfume filled her lungs. Her heart beats increased.

"What the?!" he yelled. Khushi suddenly opened her eyes.

"I am showing you how to fasten the belt, and you are sitting with eyes closed!!" he shouted.

"A...a... I am s...sorry Sir!!" said Khushi, still not normal.

Arnav just shook his head saying, "Pata nahi ladkiyan aisi kyun hoti hain...!!" Don't know why girls are like this...!!

And the car went off. Khushi just looked at Arnav as he was driving.

Both did not speak a word till they reached Khushi's home, except for Khushi telling him the directions.

Garima, who was waiting for Khushi at the door, saw Khushi getting down from the car.

Khushi got down and closed the car door. Both stared at each other, knowing not what to say. After a while, Arnav looked away.

"Thank you..." said Khushi.

Arnav did not say anything in return. He just looked at her. Khushi wanted him to say something, but...

Khushi turned to go home. She walked slowly, she wanted Arnav to call her. She wanted him to say something... atleast say 'Good Night'...

After she walked a few steps, she heard him...

"Khushi...!" he called out.

She quickly turned, excited and curious to know what Arnav would say...

"Thank you!" he said.

Khushi was expecting something else. She looked at him, confused.

"Mujhe pata hai... Woh sab tum ne jaan boojhkar kiya... I know, you did that on purpose so that I would play..."

Khushi was surprised. How did he know that?!

"It is just because of you, that today I experienced that joy once again, pata nahi kitne saalon ke baad...! Thanks!"

And he drove away. Khushi stood there staring as the car disappered around the corner. She was happy. She still couldn't believe Arnav said all that.

Garima was watching everything, she could not hear their conversation though.

Khushi went trotting down the way, skipping a few steps as she climbed up. Her happiness was clearly visible.

"Khushi!!" said Garima as Khushi reached the door. "What is all this? And who was he?"

"Amma, I am very hungry... I will tell everything later...!" said Khushi as she went in.

"Ruko Khushi!! Pehele mujhe bataoo kaun tha woh!! Itni der tak tum uske saath thi?!!" said Garima, restless. Wait Khushi! First tell me who he was! Were you with him all this time?

"Kya hua Garima? Kyun daant rahi ho Khushi ko?" said Shashi as he came to see what was going on. What happened Garima? Why are you scolding Khushi?

Dadi too came there.

"Shant ho jaao Amma, please calm down..." said Khushi. "Amma, woh Arnav Sir thay!" He was Arnav Sir!

Everyone was surprised to know this. "The" Arnav Singh Raizada had come to drop Khushi?!

"Did you invite him in?" asked Shashi.

"Oops! No...!" said Khushi biting her tounge.

"And where is your bike?" asked Garima.

"It is parked at the Raizada Mansion." said Khushi.

"But Khushi, why had you gone there?" Shashi asked.

Khushi told them about the meeting. They all congratulated her for the joint venture. Khushi also told them about the Raizada family and most importantly Riya!!

"Khushi tumhein sharam nahi aati?" scolded Garima. "You played video game there with that girl?!! You are not a kid Khushi!! What will they all thing about you?!!"

"Amma...Amma...!! Don't worry, Arnav Sir also played with us!!" said Khushi and winked.

"What?!" said everyone, surprised.

After the dinner, Khushi went to her room. She changed and got ready to sleep. She just walked to the window to feel the cool breeze. She looked at the moon and smiled. She didn't know the reason behind the smile. She felt fresh as never before. And then she remembered Arnav helping her with the seat belt. She just smiled...

Aaj kyun bewajah muskuraa rahi hoon...

Na jaane yeh kaisa hai ehsaas...

Kyun lag rahi hai yeh hawaa behki behki...

Kyun mehki hui hai meri har saans...
