After a thanda episode yesterday, I think today's last scene totally made up for itHe sat there in that very orange shirt she so lovingly suggested he wear, looking at his watch with impatience and restlessness. Why Dev Babu? It felt like he was still waiting for his date😆Sona finally turns up in this lovely pink/peachy pajami kameez attire, the best she has looked in a while with pink lipstick and a glowing face. The first thing she notices is chipku Nuts holding onto Dev's wrist like it's happy days already😆Think the date thing got to her head far too quicklyLiving in a social media world we are, where without a selfie, even a date feels imcompleteNuts says lets take a selfie😆I just feel sorry for Sona because she is in love with this man and having to go on a double date with him. Every word she says goes back to Dev and her love and the dhakan Dev is, he can just make a face like this😕and not understand she is a gone case. It's frustrating to watch how slow Dev can be sometimes😆
And photo kya li, she ended up taking a photo with Nuts having closed her eyes😆But wait there's another slow person Nuts, who obviously can't judge from Sona's words of not noticing her in the camera, that she might just be crushing on Dev?Anyway, I'll let these characters figure it out for themselves in their own sweet time and I'll let it slide because then we got a moment where Devaskhi had a photo taken of themselves. And what I liked here was the fact that these two were awkward with each other. That it wasn't a cool vibe about it like it was nothing. Because it was something. It's like both Dev and Sona are aware that there is something unspoken between them, something special and something unknown. Plus, they've never been in a situation and setting like this before where their personal and professional lives are beginning to merge with each other more than ever before. Somewhere, I feel that selfie might come up later on where Nuts on closer inspection notices how good Devakshi look together *shrugs.*
But then there's the highlight of the episode where for the first time, Dev and Sonakshi share something, their own little secret, so intimate and flirtatious that you can only get to see between two people who like/are attracted to each other! Dev at being asked whether orange is his favourite colour, turns to look at Sona, knowing it's hers and Sona, understanding that he listened to her in the end, lowers her eyes with embarassment😳And I love how Dev lies and says yes it is. The whole moment, a lie created by Dev, bringing Sona into it was a wonderful insertion! One could actually say that they were making a mockery out of Nuts in a way, because despite coming on a date with her, Dev was almost 'cheating' through their cooked up story and glances😆Nuts completely oblivious to the reality, became a side show for Devkashi where only both of them knew the real reason behind why Dev wore the shirt. Their secret😳I loved how throughout that conversation, Dev was smiling and Sona had her eyes lowered all the way through like she didn't want to be caught in the act😆That eyelockwhen Nuts asks Sona to tell Dev that he should wear bright colours was out of this world. There was so much in that eyelock. And that slight smile turned grin by Shaheer I can't even begin to understand why on earth Dev Babu's heart is not saying a word. I think he's lying😆His heart must surely have been beating like mad when Sona said he should wear bright colours😆But that moment right there was so special😊
Overall, I am really enjoying this Dev who is showing curiosity, a bit of possessiveness and insecurity. The change I've immediately noticed is that Dev is now openly talking like he knows Sona better than anyone else. From that dialogue yesterday about taking time to make a friend to today saying that she doesn't even know how to make excuses and that is why she is so different from everyone else, it's like he's picking out attributes he has noticed and admires. And I guess the whole point now is for him to understand why he is caring so much about Sona''s boyfriend. It's none of his business as his boss. Looking forward to tomorrow's scene where he is moaning like a child who has thrown his toys out the pram😆
