I think Ish Will accept nat then she will be shocked about dev's feelings then become possessive and Mami will always be there to brainwash her .. I think Mami will push her to disapprove this relationship

That's because Neha isn't the breadwinner of the family and Ishwari has realised that if Neha get married to Ranveer then she will be forgiven for neglecting Neha and her happiness. Even though she has wronged Neha, she doesn't seem to think that she is doing the same in Dev's case right now 😕

Ishwari is a bit of a contradiction. She values her son highly, more than her girls (as many mothers do) and takes great pride in what he has become and his faultless loyalty to her.

I find Neha's petulance very telling. She was made to stay home from school and take care of her little sisters, deprived of school and the success that she may have achieved like Dev. She is very portrayed as bad tempered and rude but her issues are justified.

Both Dev and Ishwari are guilt ridden about Neha and give her whatever she wants. But what she wants is her own choice, which she made in Ranveer.

And for a brief moment Ishwari is relieved of that guilt by Neha, and she grabs it happily. Only Dev thinks of the potential problems that Neha will face with Ranveer ( ie living in hardship etc) .

And lo, Neha comes to him to improve Ranveer's prospects so she will be comfortable. I see potential can of worms there. Dev agrees , conveniently Ishwari is never to know of it.

Gareeb ki beti won't like this one bit.

Dev has lived in Ishwari's expectations all his life. He must study hard, he must succeed , he must keep them happy. All this expectations on one man. He has lived up to the expectations , but did not have time to experience youth.

That one deed of suggesting Nikki to buy him a Playstation gave him that bit he was missing in life : youthful fun.

I think there will be a time when Sona's opinion is taken over Ishwari's and the mother will worry that her core position in her son's life is in jeopardy.

I don't think a mother would (or should) take a young child's promise to be with her forever SO seriously. Yipes.

Remembered that scene , Ishwari think about that past whe Dev was a kid and directly told her mother that I am never married.

When Ishwari asked why ? Then he say my tuition sir marry and come to Delhi with his wife and left his mother alone in village , so I decided that I am not marry .

But I think Ishwari knows Dev really well to be sure of the fact that he would not leave her post marriage with any girl

I guess as some of you mentioned, Elena - Vicky incident will have some twist and Radha Rani will add fuel to that fire
