...jatana bhi nahi aata, humen tumse mohabbat hai, batana bhi nahi aata...
So it begins. The becheni, the envy the God knows what emotion that comes with realising you've fallen for someone. Today, we got to see the writers bring forth the whole theme of the colours of love, beginning with orange. I am going to say 'gerua' though😆Same shade, no? I'm going to step into Dev Dixit's shoes and say I see all colours the same too. What are these shades?!😆But I digress. Coming back to the colour gerua, I read somewhere that it defines the purity and sancitity of love. The colour is also denoted to courage and sacrifice, something I do associate Devakshi with. How perfectly does that fit with Devakshi's blossoming relationship? Sona is trying to colour Dev with her love through the santari shirt, as she placed it on his chest like a wife, to see if it suited him😆But seriously, kudos to the writers for using the title of the show, as they should to convey how Sona has slowly started to colour Dev's life.
Here's why this scene is going down as one of my favourite Devakshi scenes😆Some epic dialogue writing again!
'Aapke itne shades ho sakte hai toh shirts ke kyun nahin?'😳Please get the hint Dev Babu!
'Santra lag raha hoon!'😆
'Apne suggest kiya hai toh aap hi bata dijiye.'😳
'Dekha tha Tina woh book par rahi thi colour schemes par - Fifty Shades of Grey!'🤣
Sona in response and here is where I think she made a mistake🤣'hoga kissi ke baare main.'😆
Oh Lorddd!😆Mr Dev Dixit is quite possibly the most sweetest India male TV character I have come across. Itna bhola?! Kaise?!😆But this scene speaks so much to me about how much Sona's words are beginning to affect him and how much he melts in front of her. It's a case of, aapka hukam sar aankohn par nowadays. This guy is following Doctor's orders. He remembered their conversation about choosing different colours of shirts. He is changing himself according to Sona's likes and advice.😳Enjoying this new side to Dev.
Next up, the Ishwari-Dev scene. Sigh. I have officially fallen in love with Dev Dixit today. If I had the time and patience to upload caps, I would. Two images of Dev Dixit stood out. One where he sits down on the floor by Ishwari's sideThe other where he places his hand on his cheek as he ponders like a confused childDev Dixit. No words.😳Another massive👏to the writers for penning this line following all our discussion that Natasha is not the right match for Dev - 'parivaar aur vyapar dono ko alag rakhna chahiye.' Nailed it Ishwari ji!
And then back to more of Devakshi where Sona is struggling to hide her love for Dev. Everything that tumbles out of her mouth is basically saying 'I love you Dev.'😆'I love my work' and 'ek din nahi aati hoon toh lagta zindagi khatam hogi.' What was more endearing about this scene is that Dev was shown to be reflecting on how far both him and Sona have come so far from fighting and being angry all the time to being happy in each other's presence. It's like he has become aware of this progression and was vocal about it. Nice. Little did Dev Babu know that he was in for a massive jhatka when Sona reveals she has a boyfriend 😆The look on his face was priceless! This is what happens when you call the woman who loves you boring. Big blunder! But in this journey of Devakshi that we are on, here is the bit where I gave a 'hallejuah!' The glance back as Dev realised he will have to meet Sona's boyfriend!🥳Kya murkar dekha bande ne!😆Thank you Shaheer for bringing Dev Dixit to life! It's that pareshaani we have ALL been waiting to witness! Big, big moment! And it still continued in the study room immediately after Sona left😆He sat there, rubbing his eyebrow/forehead like the revelation had hit him like a ton of bricks. Poor Dev! There is no way his tension was because of him building up the courage to tell Natasha he needed time. It was because Sona had dropped a bombshell that stirred feelings in him that he has never experienced before. And I so cannot wait to see this confusion and angst.
Shaheer all the way in this one👏
