Didn't realize I would be posting once again on the episode after the first part of Mahasangam this week, but I had to especially since tomorrow is the big night and after wards, the atmosphere is going to be super tense and the uncertainty of who will be returning as Kunj will be hanging on our heads like a sword ready to execute. Also since i was going to follow the show till consummation, this had to be the last post overall.
I'm going to mention few things that stood out to me in the episodes and how I have taken them. Not going to do a full analysis.
- I absolutely loved how Kunj apologized to Leela for coming in late and his mind was on Twinkle throughout the night. He was quick to see that the unknown 'sardar' was dragging twinkle away. From his own perspective, he tries to be the best son-in-law an the best husband along with being a dutiful son. Keeping his anger aside he stepped in and he wanted to call a truce with Twinkle.
- Upon finding Twinkle with Yuvi, his anger got the best of him and although Kunj is rarely an idiot and i disapprove of him, I enjoyed his attack on Yuvi right away because intimacy is a delicate subject between Kunj and Twinkle till now and Kunj seeing Twinkle in a position where he couldn't save her once again (first time when Yuvi forcefully married her under pretense), and all because of his anger; it was good to see a side of him come out after being throughly provoked. Such an abrupt sentence but I think it makes sense.
- I think Kunj yelling at Twinkle right away was more a depiction of his helplessness at her innocence and naivety. Kunj's surprise at Twinkle not giving a crap about Yuvi and his anger combined with helplessness, persistent provoking and such a chaotic atmosphere really pushed him to yell at her right away and that too in front of everyone which he wouldn't have done otherwise. It also showed how Kunj has slowly and gradually reached a middle point where he is opening himself up and his doubts to Twinkle especially being a person who keeps mum.
- Kunj defending Twinkle's character and Yuvi himself defending Twinkle's character was one of the defining moments. Twinkle's innocence, her fieriness to stand up for what is correct and her coddled and secure brought-up that has kept her naive and pure has paved a way for her to make houses in both the men's house and both the men defending her character was symbolic of how she is not the one to be blamed in the whole ordeal that has followed though.
- Yuvi has always maintained Twinkle's respect in front of others unless he himself had to get to her and needed to break her away. I liked how the ripping of anger, pride and ego has pushed his obsession to the point where he is defending her and blaming his mother. Him blaming his mother is towards the realization of her abandonment towards him. Anita's junnon and fire of revenge has surfaced very very clearly because of Yuvi's obsession. Till now her fire of revenge was subdued in portrayl however Yuvi turning away from her and towards the few moments of love he got from Twinkle way back has cleared the air that it is ALL her who is responsible.
- Kunj's acceptance of Twinkle, him sitting by her and asking for no explanations was such a lovely portrayal. In the last battle of his, he is now, after he himself recognizes how wrong he had been in putting his surpassed anger and ego before his love for her; Kunj is himself walking back towards Twinkle. The script follows distance between the two at this point too so it was really good to see that the foundations between them both are still strong and based on the most vulnerable situations instead of just assumptions.
- The gurdwara scene that followed up was literally so many feels. I cannot handle Agar Tum Saath Ho on TWINJ anymore because it's just way too much for my heart. Kunj and Twinkle's love will always be there for each other even if they both are not physically present for each other. The scene was symbolic of the stability between the two and how their love is unwavering. It is only the situation that take place that are a bit cuckoo. I loved how Kunj and bebe were on the ends and Tanejas ladies in middle. Sarnas' bold steps into the battlefield to protect the Tanejas has left them weak to attacks on themselves however they have divine help so it's all good.
- Yuvi was outside the main area of the gurdwara. Ya'll know what that symbolized? HE ISN'T FORGIVEN.
- Typing a goddamn raksha dhaga on her and his love. Highly symbolic of Kunj's love and his mangulsutre on Twinkle being a protector of Twinkle in the worst of situations. The strength they derive from each other is their support of what is 'right' is going to help them cross over all the odds.
- Kunj defends Twinkle's honor and her integrity by fighting the goons and voicing for her in front of public. Cherry's inclusion at this point becomes clear. I have analyzed his character's basic nature and he is the worst of your mysgonistic desi man who feels tntilted to everything. He doesn't care about anything until he has gotten his part of the power and when he does, then he will stand by whichever side his father stands on and don't forget that Surjeet was raised by bebe and follows her decisions as final words.
- While this track is being rushed and all also falling all over the place, mainly because of the uncertainty Sidhant has brought up with wanting to move on; the track itself was introduced to prove if Kunj on his own is going to be worth for Twinkle. It reflected on all the atrocious behavior his family, his father's past mistakes and his ignorance being the shadow on his relationship with Twinkle from his side. Also the combination of Luthras with Sarnas into the family contributes to the shadow. Twinkle's past has only followed up with her after Luthras were "blessed" to be part of the Sarna clan. Cherry is the person who is "representative" of Surjeet but he is not Surjeet and thats the basic ploy in how Luthras are using the brother's family to divide them. I don't know whether this track will reach it's desired completion or not because I was not going to follow the show after the suhaag-raat in first place.
- Twinkle is literally lost when talk about the night of the party where she was found in bed. She doesn't know and for once she is tired of fighting the same repetitive crap over and over again. Bebe was quick to point that out that despite being strong, people do get tired and Twinkle is tired of Luther's crap. Her moving away from Yuvi when he came in to tell he that he did try to molest her before but not this recent time was VERY clear message that Yuvi-Twinkle are a no go by the writers.
- Yuvi will obviously try to insert himself into every situation. If he was really redeeming himself, he wouldn't want to save Kunj and twinkle. He would just leave them as they've asked him to do so. However Twinkle is tired of dealing with him and that is why she held on to Kunj's wrist when he got rightfully angry at seeing Yuvraj in his room. The moment between Twinkle and Kunj spoke volumes. It echoed Twinkle's tiredness and weariness growing and her desperately needing Kunj by her side. The scene to follow up where she is sleeping on Kunj's chest and then abruptly wakes up upon not finding him signified further on that for Twinkle, only Kunj matters and his support and side with her matters. She stays quiet when Yuvraj tries to defend himself later on and looks at her. Yuvraj's claims & apologies do not matter to her at all. Instead even for her, he is the biggest suspect.
- Kunj and Twinkle agreeing to go to London but Kunj forgoing the last step of his achievement by dropping away from the project determined him choosing Twinkle's happiness over his own. I loved how Sandy, the defender of truth is the one to enlighten Twinkle the steps Kunj is taking and how he himself is backing away from the project that is financially securing him and putting him on a pedestal with his father, uncle and brothers. The project also shows Kunj winning over Twinkle by showing his worthiness and Twinkle pushing him later on to be a go-getter for it signified that she doesn't ever want him to back away from any thing for her as every step that he has taken has been for a correct purpose. Her belief in Kunj's decisions and his dreams is going to play a big part in all the separation between the two by fate.
- The pursuit of the project and Kunj's MBA is defining factor because the families' stories we are following are all successful and industrial families. Not sure about Tanejas and Luthras as they are shown to own lands and dabble in different fields in terms of business, Manohar Sarna's family in itself has built there base on hospitality and hotels. (Link with JR too as the Khuranas are shown to have hotels.) The pursuit of happiness and justice stands as a defining factor in what Kunj is for Twinkle. He is her protector and guardian. I loved how Twinkle pushed him on to live his dream because she has recognized WHO KUNJ SARNA is for her. and the Extent he is willing to go for her as well. His anger is testament to that.
- The hallucination marked the change in script. It literally takes a month in advance at least to plan out a track properly and the separation because of misunderstanding between Kunj and Twinkle has been planned quite a while back. With Sidhant willing to move forward, the tracks that have been planned are rushed into to mesh into a new track. Before the tracks were suppose to unfold in separation and reunion from family members of Twinkle-Kunj and then the consummation. Twinkle miscarrying her first child and Yuvi revealing Anita's purpose of entering the Sarna house and marrying Surjeet to Surjeet. NOW, the track has shifted with the symbol of love aka the child of Twinkle being secure but the love itself being in danger because of the inability to deal with past shadows. The montage of the show still shows as Kunj standing by Twinkle but not as her groom which signified that Twinkle herself will be needing to pick herself up once again as become the "Punjabi Pataka Siyaapa Queen" that she is to make sure that her world stays secure. Anita's revolution is delayed per the script at this point. Kunj and Twinkle stepping into the next change of their life is more important then ever before. Catching up with each other isn't going to cut it for them in face of past shadows.
- Twinkle slapped Yuvi at the first instance she found Kunj's shirt drenched in red. That scene once again clearly called out for Twinkle never choosing Yuvraj and only seeing him as a criminal of her hellish life. She rushed back to Kunj at his first call engulfs him into a hug. For Twinkle, Kunj is her everything and her life revolves around him. (That is unhealthy. Please don't follow being in love like Twinkle. Have some friends too.)
- Tandoor symbolizes burning away of evil and the truth prevailing. Kunj's character is at an open-end. He will face death but he will return from it or as I like to phrase it, Rise from the death. Kunj cooking with Twinkle and the menu being everything tandoor symbolized that their "love" will prevail over the bad sights of Luthras.
- Salamat sequence was so amazing and perfect because it signified how protective not just Kunj is but also Twinkle has gotten. The lyrics echoed Twinkle and Kunj's love and their child surviving and living on even if something happens to both of them.
- Gallan Goodiyan sequence with the fam bam in the end signified the happiness and small moments keeping the family bonded together for all that is worth. Not going to read into much of it.
- Convocation in Goa and Guru ji telling to fulfill the rituals as a bride. Goa was the place where the circe of revenge for MRS. Twinkle Kunj Sarna started out because of rejecting Yuvraj's love for Kunj. I wish it was better transitioned then the way they showed but you know, who cares. I'm quitting the show with my happy endings in one more day. I mentioned that Yuvraj's obsessiveness has taken a more creepy turn but his pursuit of being a Kunj for Twinkle will not be successful as the bases and the events have been set in motion by himself. Twinkle and Kunj's first moments during their time in Goa reflected with their current moments and symbolized the danger Kunj's life is put in once again by Twinkle choosing him and going beyond with him in every step. However there steps weren't together on the day they remarried and shadows ares till around them which puts Kunj at an adverse position as he is the voluntarily and willing guardian of Twinkle.
- The pooja Twinkle is suppose to perform would be performed however in a way that Kunj wants. Full moon is a symbol of fertility and after baba ji, Twinkle has herself put Kunj on a pedestal of God for her. The script also borrows Kunj and Twinkle as reflection of Shiv and Paravati. Instead of praying for overcoming adversity and saving Kunj's life, Twinkle will be complying with her heart and pray for the strength of her love keeping Kunj by her side. The fight Kunj and Twinkle have repeatedly chosen for themselves is not to overcome adversity but to fight it and stand for themselves. 27th is a number of dual holy trinity and divine completion. Kunj's purpose of having Twinkle as his wife in the absolute sense will be fulfilled as he faces the consequences of winning over the past shadows of rejection from her side however he has his own family members that are still bonded to the Luthras and this shadows will come in between his way. Kunj's character is hanging by a thread. He is going to survive but whether it is coma, or separation of him walking away and losing himself away from Twinkle; it is all yet to be decided.
Super excited for the suhaag raat! My bbys will get their happy ending!! This is the last analytical post. I hope everyone in cast and crew have a good journey. A little rushed track but I hope the execution and editing isn't going to ruin anything.
For the people who will be following the show onwards, Yuvi-Twinkle are a no go by writers themselves. I only trust the script and the script has said that Twinkle WILL NOT accept Yuvi into her life as a friend or lover. He will try to help her out probably but only because his purpose of life is Twinkle and he is obsessed with her. Twinkle either stays alone and lives the life Leela led or she stays with Kunj which depends on Sidhant's decision. Kunj Sarna will not die. He will survive. If not Sidhant, then another actor will be replaced probably as Kunj. The upcoming tracks will feature a pregnant Twinkle, a Twinkle who hates the Luthras way too much and will not accept them in any case. The Sarna family will facing testing times that measure up the power of the unification. Exciting stuff but not for me. Even if Sidhant stays, I won't be analyzing the show because Twinkle's journey to find true love has been accomplished in tomorrow's episode by her willingly giving herself away to Kunj. The only thing that is left is Anita's revelation. Weather that is put off for now, or pushed further, I don't know. Yuvi's ending int he show is suicide because he will one day turn to Twinkle and ask her that he's making all these sacrifices and why isn't she choosing him and her answer will be her love for Kunj just as Leela's answer was her love for her husband and her own integrity and her daughter over the world. Yuvraj won't be able to live through the rejection again.
Mahi's entry is stalled as well and that depends on how Kunj's character moves forward.

Also, the premises of the show and episodes have been established. For Twinkle, Kunj matters and for Kunj, Twinkle matters. For Yuvi too, Twinkle mattes but for Twinkle, only Kunj matters. Twinkle-Kunj are the couple with whom the show will end.
