When the gents of the family were busy chatting away about coming arrangements, ladies did the same along with the preparations of coming family lunch as planned. In this whole time, there were two restless souls who wanted nothing but the company of other one.

Ishitha was too excited seeing the warmth with which adi had reacted to her. She was very eager to share her happiness over the slight acceptance of their son for her. She was stealing glances at Raman longingly now and then when she found that she was away from the teasing eyes of their family. She felt the immense need of having him with her at least for few seconds alone.

Raman felt too difficult to withstand the distance between ishitha and him. He wondered the intensity with which he wants her to be around him. He already had been in love and an initially-happy phase. But he never felt this pining towards that woman whom he married after being in love. But ishitha definitely did cast her spell upon him. He knew that his business would make huge loss if this goes on and ishitha would complain that her 98.5% scores got wasted as she would not be attending her clinic.

He chuckled at his thoughts which unfortunately turned untimely as bala was anxiously telling the qualities of an efficient leader that India should posses, drifting away completely from initial discussion. While everybody was staring at him for his weird reaction, he started to look around to think of any excuse and luckily skipped from there due to the phone call he had just received.

After receiving the call from unknown number, he thanked the agent who had been trying to say about the credit card their company was going to issue. Raman thanked the agent for calling and rejected his offer confusing him.

When he was about to turn, he felt ishitha tightly hugging him from behind instantly making his lips curve up. He gently kissed her hand which was placed on his heart and bought her to his front only to have her snuggling into him once again. Wondering what had made her this excited, he lifted her off the ground a bit while she nestled her face in the nape of his neck.

Just bringing her face out to face him she exclaimed how happy she was with adi's change.

"Raman!! Aapne...apne dekha adi mujhe hug kiya aur mujhse baath bhi kiya!! Dat 2 normally!! Bina koyi gussa!! Bohuth normally"

[Raman!! Did you? Did you notice how adi hugged me in the morning? He spoke to me normally, without any grudge!!]

He saw how happy a small affectionate action of their son had made her. He imagined how delighted she would be if adi accepts her completely and acknowledges her as his mom. Seeing the desperate mother who wants her son to accept her and happy at the progress he was showing, he felt him and his kids lucky to get a person like ishitha to love them.

Kissing her forehead with all his love and letting his lips linger a few longer seconds, he told everything about how adi just needs a leap of faith to believe in her love and his words supporting her love would had been able the change in him.

She didn't understand how to thank this man. Even though, he had a very bad betrayal, he not only trusted her easily but was also making his son believe in her. When she was about to reply, he understanding her mind spoke up,

"You are so ishitha...You are so...I couldn't help but trust you!!"

"I love you raman!!" said a misty-eyed ishitha listening to the sincere words he had uttered.

This time lifting her more high, he pecked her heart telling her an I-love-you-more. As a tear fell onto his forehead from her orbs he thought of dissolving the emotional environment by exclaiming how much he missed her and his frustration over not being able to spend time with her with their families around nuzzling her chest.

"Raman chodo na mujhe!! Ayyo amma!! Raman mein ne kuch bina bolke aapke sath agayi!! Sab log kya sochenga?? Chodo na!!" she said worriedly pressing his shoulders with her soft palms unable to cease her highly-responsive hormones.

[Raman!! Leave me!! I came here without informing anyone!! What would everyone think?? Leave me!!]

"Arey sochne do jho soche hai!!" he said continuously pecking at the edge of her soft lips making it difficult for her to control herself and them.

[Arey!! Let them think as they want!!]

"hmm...raman" she moaned only for him to take her lips into his passionately.

"ishitha!!" "akka!!" he heard the calls of her siblings and broke their lip-lock abruptly.

He gestured that he would elope with her which made her smile shyly. She quickly adjusted her saree after being left by him. Both of them headed down and saw the whole family sitting for the lunch. Raman angrily sat down with Ishitha by his side serving him.

"Hmm.." mihir started only to cut off angrily by Raman.

"kya hain?? Chup chap khana nahi kha sakta?" he shouted.

[what?? Can't you eat silently??]

"Raman..." he looked up to see his wife's soft eyes and silently gorged onto his food.

"woh bhai!! Kya kar rahe the aap aur bhabhi ander?" romi asked despite his brother's angry, smiling naughtily.

[What were you and bhabhi doing inside?]

"das minute mein kya kar sakthe hain??" raman replied running his hand over his face while embarrassed Ishitha muttered his name under her breathe. She looked up to a confused and shocked family and tried to control the damage.

[what can we do in 10 minutes?]

"woh!! Actually Raman ko kuch agent credit card lene ke liye pareshaan kar rahe the!! Isliye Raman thoda irritated hai!! Hai...na raman!!" she looked at him placing her hand on his shoulder only for him to stare at her without a reply. He held her hand on his shoulder and made her sit in the chair adjacent to him.

[Hmm..Actually an agent is troubling raman to issue a credit card hich is irritating him, Isn't?]

"hum kud serve karlenge!! Tum bhi baitho mera sath!!" he ordered her.

[We will serve ourselves!! You sit down along with me!!]

"lekin raman.." ishitha tried to oppose.

[But raman...]

"baitho na puttar!!" toshi said lovingly.

[sit down ishitha!!]

She sat down adjacent to raman not to annoy him any further. After serving him and herself she held his hand with her free hand under the table. He looked up into her eyes only to find the same craving and desire which his would reflect. She intertwined their fingers and placed them onto his lap, occasionally leaving to serve them. He even kissed her knuckles once or twice and thankfully nobody had noticed it. Ishitha pouted scolding him with her eyes and he laughed happily which was enough to make ishitha smile. He began to enjoy the lunch and started joking like his usual self.

Few days passed, the wedding preparations were going fine with the whole family taking equal responsibility in managing all the things to be done. Everything was smooth except the drama often created by Shagun. But it didn't affect the happy lives of Raman and Ishitha which further affected her. Adi's polite behaviour and care towards Ishitha and family was just adding the fuel to her annoyance.

Raman and Ishitha used to spend more time together getting to know the most of each other. Raman understood that despite being the patient soul ishitha hated waiting and ishitha knew that disturbance in his schedule would disturb him the most and planned everything according to it.

They were openly expressing their love forgetting their place and audience. Even though ishitha used to shy away, Raman used to remind her that he never been controlling his emotions like anger, then how could he control his exploding love only to face a ruddy ishitha.

The whole family observed how ishitha had become the old chirpy and childish one and raman the jovial person he was with his anger diminished many times. They were happy at the change in the lives of their beloved ones.

Among all these the happiest soul was Adi. He was enjoying all the love, care and concern bestowed upon him by the family. But being the loving son he was he never let his mom feel bad. He loved her like he used to. Even though her constant negativity towards ishitha and family angered him, he reflected at most patience and bears all her wrath.

It was a Saturday evening and the whole family gathered to watch the last match of the series which happened to be the nail-biting competition between India and Australia.

Raman being late from office had missed the beginning which made him change and freshen up quickly without the constant asking of ishitha.

By the time he freshened up ishitha had arranged the cool drinks and snacks on the table around which the family had been sitting. She sat down on the couch despite her disinterest only to not miss the family time. When he descended the stairs Ruhi shouted and went to hug him.

"papa!! I missed u!!" she said hugging him by his waist.

"Acha!! Papa ne sirf office gaya aur Ruhi miss kiya??" he said smiling lifting ruhi and placing her feet onto him he walked till the couch making the child giggle and her mother smile staring at the duo. Both raman and ruhi sat next to ishitha with raman in middle. He pulled ishitha by her waist which made ishitha blush profusely.

Seeing the perfect family, with ishitha and ruhi cuddled into Raman and enjoying the match definitely did irk Shagun. Even though she was least interested she sat down with the family and pretended to be very happy with the idea earning disgusted looks from them as they already knew her.

When the patience and fun of watching the match deterred, Ruhi thought of some plan and signed her ishima. Everyone except Raman saw this and grinned knowing that he is going to be the victim if the mother-daughter duo pair up together. Ishitha moved more closer to Raman making him the happiest and blinked her eyes innocently at him while he was more than happy to have her in his arms and flashed a dimpled smile. When he got immersed in the match once again Ruhi took ishitha's hair and started rubbing it against his chest, neck and face trying to tickle him.

"haw...shaitan ruhi" he said tickling her in turn and she laughed out loudly.

[haw.. mischievous baby!!]

"aur tum..? kar kya rahi thi??" he pulled her more into him only to have her giggling. Holding both his girls he asked them what the matter was.

[And you..? What were you doing?]

"papa!! I'm bored!! Kya hum ice-cream khane bhahar jayenge?? Ishima ke sath!!" she said holding both her parents hand.

[Papa!! I'm bored!! Shall we have ice-cream!! With ishima!!!]

"ishima ke saath...!!! sure!!" he said almost getting up only to held back by ishitha.

"Roo...yeh papa kha time hai!! Dekho papa family ke liye, aapke liye...mere liye kitna time nikalthe hai!! Upar se office!! Unke liye time hi nahi hai!!" she said pouting at the end childishly.

[Roo... this is papa's time!! He seldom gets time for himself as his whole time goes for the family, you and me!! Plus the office!!]

"sachi papa?!" she asked her dad and again turned to her mother who continued.

[Really papa?!]

"haa roo... isliye aaj papa kho match dekhne denge!!! Aur..aur..haan aaj hum papa kho pamper bhi karenge!!!" Ishitha completed.

"papa kho pamper!!" ruhi exclaimed curiously.

"papa kho pamper???" everyone said the same words wondering what was ishitha upto.

"ishitha...yeh jaroorath nahi hai!! Mein retelecast dekhlunga!!" he said smiling at his wife's thinking.

"Nahi raman!! Aaj aapka din hai!! So hum aapko pamper karenge!! Hai na roo...!?" she smiled widely.

"ishima!! Papa kho pamper?? Lekin hamesha boys kho hi girls kho pamper karna hai na?!" ruhi asked innocently.

"no ruhi!! aisa kuch nahi hai!! Pamper tho use karthe hai jise hum pyaar karthe hai!! So let's pamper papa!!]

"uff ishitha!! Tum ruhi kho yeh sab sikhathi ho?" said Shagun irritated at the scene in front of her.

{Uff ishitha!! You teach all this to Ruhi?!!]

"Shagun tum..!!" raman shouted only to get silenced by ishitha.

[Shagun you..]

"ruhi!! shagun mamma kuch nahi jaanthi hai!!" he continued indirectly taunting her.

[Ruhi!! Shagun doesn't know anything!!]

"tho ishima kya karenge??" ruhi excitedly yelled.

[What shall we do??]

"hmm...kuch jyada nahi!! Bas papa ke sath hum bhi match dekhenge aur une bina disturb kare hum hi une khilayenge!! Okay??" she said getting up to fetch his dinner.

[Hmm..not much!! Just we will watch match along with him and will feed him dinner without disturbing him!! okay?!]

"Okay ishima!!" shouted ruhi and hugged raman tight.

By now ishitha bought his supper and ishitha and ruhi took turns feeding him while he happily watched the match. The family had their hearts warmed up at the sight and this simple gesture of ishitha had taken off adi's heart. He just couldn't express how sweet and cute his stepmom was. He hated her calling his stepmom. This was the first time he realised that he wants ishitha as his own imagining himself at his father's place. He got shocked at his thoughts of having her to him and quickly engrossed himself in the match.

"maa mere liye bhi kudi doondlo na!! Bilkul bhabhi jaisa!!" joked Romi.

[Maa!! Search a partner for me!! One similar to Bhabhi!!]

"on second thoughts, bhabhi aapko mhika aur vandu akka ki alawa aur koyi cousins hai?? Yeh log tho already booked hai!!" he added only to face a cusion onto him by raman and everybody started laughing.

[On second thoughts, bhabhi!! Do you have any siblings except mihika and vandu akka?? As they are already booked!!]

The door bell rang as soon as ishitha sat beside Raman after keeping his plate in the sink. When ishitha was about to get up, he held her and asked neelu to get the packet in.

"neelu!! Woh!! Black current flavour bada sa bowl me dalke bhabhi kho do aur mango adi kho!! Sabko apne pasand wala dedena!!" he said only to have everyone staring at him.

[Neelu!! Get that black current flavour in a big bowl and give it to Bhabhi and mango one for adi!! Serve others what they wanted to have!!]

"hello!! Kya hua!? CEO hoon kuch bhi karsaktha hoon!!jst order place kiya aur ghar ayi ruhi kha ice cream!!" he told showing his mobile.

[Hello!! What happened? I'm a CEO!! I could do anything!! I just placed an order and there's the ice-cream!!]

"jiju!! Aapna kitna sweet ho!? bhuddu kuch seekho!!" said mihika giving a flying kiss to him.

[Jiju!! You are so sweet!! Buddu learn something!!]

"gesture na iss se bhi sweet aur lovely hai" expressed ishitha pointing the bowl in her hand and looking lovingly at him.

[Your gesture is sweeter than this!!]

"ha tho pehale yeh khao baadme i mean raat kho mujhe khalena!!" he winked naughtily only to get puffed by the ice cream.

[OK!! Then have this first and have me later I mean tonight!!]

After having the ice-cream treat, slowly ishitha and ruhi started slipping into slumber leaning their heads on raman. Raman stared at his angels who made his life heaven on the earth and mumbled their idea of pampering him chuckling.

As if they have heard him, they replied an i-love-you in their sleep which made raman experience the bliss and hugged him tight. Seeing them asleep the family started enjoying the match silently. But after the win of India mihir couldn't help but shout only to get hit by pillow which raman had kicked. Everybody quietly looked at raman not knowing how will he manage to take both of them to their respective rooms without disturbing their sleep.

Before anybody could come forward,

"papa!! Mei ruhi kho lejavunga aur aap ishitha aunty kho lejayiye!!" he said trying to take ruhi.

[Papa!! You take ishitha aunt with you while I take ruhi!!]

"lekin adi.." said a surprised raman.

[But adi..]

"it's ok papa!!" adi replied smiling and was about to take off ishitha's hand which was on top of ruhi, gently only to have his hand held by her. Raman slowly freed his hand and adi couldn't help but tuck the loose strand of hair behind ishitha's ear further surprising everyone. He took ruhi into his arms while Raman did the same with Ishitha. He felt he couldn't wait till the next day to share this happiness to her.
