I do think the priest will slowly find a connection toward Aaru. After Shaswat abandoned Aaru due to her allegation against him and aryan. It's seems that the makers are intenting to make Shashwat as Aryan's father although he is Aaru's biologically and Chimaji as Aaru's father although he is aryan's biologically.

I think when the truth come out both fathers will want to know their biological children but will act as a father to their own nurtured child.

This would explained why Shawahst quickly bond to aryan when he hadn't previously and distanced himself from Aaru. Chimaji hadn't yet shown his love for Aaru but I believe slowly in time he will and invetiably form the love of a father to a daugther, which his wife had raised and embedded her values within Aaru. It's could turn out to be most beautiful father and daugther relationship If done in well paced and properly. Aaru will be the one who will break the ice in Chimaji's heart one day. He is protecting Aaru subtly from Pav even though he won't admit that to anyone or himself.
