Chapter 16

"I'm so happy for you jiji..." Khushi squealed like a child, as her jiji told her about her decision, and hugged her jiji tight.

"Congratulations Payal!" Lavanya said and hugged her.

"Hey, did you say this to Adi?" Khushi asked and Payal nodded no. "Why?" Lavanya asked surprised.

"I'll inform him!" Payal said.

"So when are you getting married?" Khushi asked.

"Not decided Khushi. We'll discuss with you all and decide!" Payal said, "But before that I should be legally divorced from Akash!"

"And he is not signing the papers too!" Lavanya said in anger.

"Okay now, forget everything!" Khushi said, "IT'S AMAN'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!"

"Oh yeah, we have to plan for the party!" Payal said and the three ladies rushed to NK's room.

Anjali Jha came out behind the curtains where she was hiding and said with an evil smile, "Be happy Payal! But you won't marry Aman! I'll do anything to destroy your and your sister's happiness!"

"WHAT? Payal is gonna marry Aman?" Dadi asked.

Anjali nodded and Akash said, "She can't! She is still my legally wedded wife!"

"Whatever Akash, the point is she accepted him. Adi also accepts him as his father," Dadi said, "You'll lose your son! He is Raizada blood, this is his home! What can that Aman give him? He is a bloody orphan!"

Anjali nodded and said, "He is Raizada heir! Your son! He cannot be Aman's son! Mind it Akash, the day Akash and Payal marry, Aman will start preparations to legally adopt Adi."

"NO!" Akash said standing up, "I cannot lose my son! He will stay here with me, forever!"

"For that you need to degrade Aman in front of him! Adi values him more than anyone. So to win Adi's heart, you should make him believe that you're a far better person than Aman!" Anjali said.

"But how di?" Akash asked.

"I have a plan!" Anjali said.

"Guys, BAD NEWS!" NK said and Arnav, Aman, Payal, La and Khushi looked up at him.

NK sat beside them and whispered, "She called. Due to weather problems, the flight is cancelled. She can't come today!"

"WHAT?" Everyone screamed and NK nodded, "We have post-pone our plan!"

Everyone looked down in disappointment.

Now they have to wait more to reveal Shyam Manohar Jha.

Aman was pacing along his room thinking about any other way to bring her here on his birthday, when the room of his door flew open and ran in an excited Adi.

"Is it true? Mamma and you are gonna marry?" He asked with his eyes glistening.

Aman smiled and nodded yes.

Adi screamed and jumped on Aman that he stumbled back due to the force. Aman laughed and lifted him in his arms and Adi tightly hugged him.

"I LOVE YOU!" Adi screamed and Aman whispered, "I love you too my boy!"

Adi slid from his arms and ran out of the room screaming, "I'LL BE BACK!"

Aman stood confused at his retreating back.

Adi soon came running to his room and handed him a paper. Aman held the paper confused and looked at it. It was a beautiful drawing in which a boy was hugging a man. Under it was written,

You're the best papa in the world!

I Love You PAPA

Aman looked at the boy with tears in his eyes. Adi smiled and wiped Aman's tears and said, "Don't cry..." and he said slowly, "Papa..."

Aman grabbed him for a tight hug and whispered in the boy's ears, "I love you my son!"

Adi hugged his father tight and cried, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH PAPA!"

Standing at the door of the room, witnessing the scene before him, Akash Singh Raizada realized the truth.

In horror he realized the truth that he has lost his son, FOREVER!

He lost his wife and son to this man standing before him.

"I won't let you win Aman!" Akash swore again and again under his breath, "Tonight...Tonight you'll out of my son's and my wife's life! My bhai, who himself sings your praises, will kick you out. My son, who values you more than anyone will spat at your face! My wife, who accepted you over me, will slap you hard and kick you out of her life! And I'll have her and my son back..."

Arnav was busy in the work of AKR when Akash came in. "Yeah come in!" Arnav said in attitude.

"When I came to office yesterday, you said you'll call me later!" Akash said.

Arnav nodded and said, "You can join AKR from tomorrow."

"What is my job?" Akash asked.

Arnav looked at him and said, "You'll be Lavanya's PA."

"WHAT?" Akash shouted, "ME AND LAVANYA'S PA?"

"Yeah, what's the problem?" Arnav asked casually.

"Bhai if you remember, at AR she used to work as my junior. And now, I WILL BE HER PA? WHAT THE HELL?" Akash shouted.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Arnav shouted at the top of his voice, "DON'T FORGET THAT YOU ARE MY SERVANT. SO DARE YOU RAISE YOUR VOICE AGAIN, I'LL SLAP YOU RIGHT ACROSS YOUR FACE! IF YOU WAT JOB AND WANNA EARN MONEY THEN JOIN AKR FROM TOMORROW AS LAVANYA'S PA OR ELSE SCRUB THE FLOORS OF RM! YOU CAN DECIDE!"

Akash looked down and mumbled, "Okay"

"Good! Now sign the contract!" Arnav said handing him over a file!

Akash opened the file and read the contents when Arnav said irritated, "I don't have the whole day for you! Sign it fast!"

Akash nodded and hurriedly signed the file and left the room. Arnav smiled evil and opened the file, taking out the last page of the file which Akash had signed hurriedly.

"You proved that you're the biggest idiot alive on earth!" Arnav said laughing and held the divorce papers of Akash and Payal.

"Arnav ji..."

Arnav kept the file on table hearing his wife's squeal. He looked at the door where came running like a sprint and jumped on him.

"Aww..." Arnav howled as he stumbled back due to the force. "I'm sooo hhaaapppyyy" Khushi said and kissed him on his lips!

Arnav was taken aback with the sudden kiss. She withdrew and then squealed, "ARNAVJI, IT'S A GREAT NEWS!"

"What happened?" Arnav asked and Khushi said, "Aman and Jiji are gonna marry!"

"WHAT?" Arnav asked shocked and Khushi nodded.

"What the Aman ke bache...he didn't tell me!" Arnav said and Khushi laughed, "Jiji said to him yesterday night! And do you know, she wore saree!"

"Saree? After long time huh?" Arnav said and Khushi nodded.

"Anyway let me go and smack that idiot! How dare he keep me uninformed?" Arnav said and walked to Aman's room while Khushi laughed.

It was evening 4 and Khushi, Payal and La went to Aman's room with a brand new suit.

"Get ready!" Khushi ordered.

"Why? Are we going somewhere?" Aman asked looking at the suit.

"Wo kya hai na...we have a press conference!" Payal said.

"Press conference?" Aman asked confused.

"Today is your birthday so you didn't come to office right?" La said and Aman nodded saying, "Woh, kids asked me to take them out!"

Payal nodded and said, "So Karan informed us!"

"Really? Okay, when is the press conference?" Aman asked holding the suit. "In half and hour! Go get ready!" Khushi said.

"But why a brand new suit for a press conference?" Aman asked looking at the suit confused.

"Uffo, you ask a lot of questions!" La said and pushed him and said, "Go get ready!"

"What the!"

"Hey that's my line!" Arnav said patting Aman's shoulder.

Dressed in the brand new suit, Aman looked down at the living room at RM which was decorated like anything and adorned with the words, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMAN!"

He looked at his friends and said, "So press conference was an excuse?" Everyone nodded.

Aman smiled and looked at the guests who came to him and wished him.

"Come on Aman uncle, let's cut the cake!" Ruhi said.

"Yeah, after that I have to smear it on Ruhi di's face!" Ruhaan said.

"Let's see who smear it first and on whom!" Ruhi said and Ruhaan stick out his tongue at her.

Aman laughed and cut the cake.

Everyone were in the joyous mood unaware of the upcoming storm.

Standing far away, Anjali Jha, Akash Raizada, Manorama Raizada and Subadra Malik smiled at each other.

"Enjoy Aman, because afterwards, you'll lose all your happiness!" Anjali muttered and looked at the laughing figure of Aman.

PRECAP

"Guys...I...I don't..." Aman began to say but NK walked away for calling doctor, the three ladies sat on the floor leaning on the sofa and Arnav walked to take a jug of water, ignoring him.

He looked at the four kids standing away and called, "Adi...look I...Ruhi..."

The four kids ignored him and walked away and Sonu turned to him and said, "Aman uncle...aap bad ho..." and Adi looked at him with tears.
