If uv is really changed why he is not saying sorry to Maahi

I was wondering if yuvi is really turned good overnight then why he is not asking forgiveness to Mahi and leela for spoiling mahi' life?? Why he is not making efforts to bring back Mahi or concentrate on his own marriage?? I don't honk it's a plan they will show kunj is dead may be he will come back after leap may b Sid may be new face and revel that yuvi tried to kill him and then Tashan is back again !! Usually it happens in Balaji serial and this is not BP so not sure just a random thought!!
