Ok so first off sonika who plays pinni mami confirmed he is leaving but sid himself said he has received a big offer he couldn't refuse and he may have to quit but he is hoping things work out between him and the production house, meaning he is still in negotiation with the show for his contract.

I really hope this isn't a repeat of the barun sobti fiasco. That man literally walked out of a highly popular and successful show when the show and he himself were at the peak of their success just so he could go do a movie, a movie that got little notice and flopped big time. The show went off air only because of his decision and it didn't even benefit him. It was a waste for him to walk out of the show and i bet inside till this date he regrets it as he hasn't done anything since then. If sid leaves for a supposed movie role, he runs a major risk of making a mistake like barun. He needs to be careful and really think through whether the movie he is planning on doing whether he is doing one is worth risking this show.

The thing is with our indian tv actors is that the moment they get a movie role they get a little over-excited and risk their current tv careers to go into a movie that ultimately is not even that big of a deal and gets no recognition and makes no profit. Tv actors just don't think smartly when it comes to their dreams of acting in a movie and although my comment may seem harsh for tv actors, it is true. They are far too impulsive when it comes to movie roles and don't think about how the movies they are choosing to risk their tv careers will actually catapult them to bollywood success.
