Ironically I am very happy to hear that Sidhant is trying to leave the show. The TOI mentions that "maybe" he'll be quitting. I think the production will ask him to stay for one more month until his contract expires by end of June or beginning of July.

Currently there are two tracks that the show has on going. Twinkle-Kunj reunion probed by the family, and Anita trying to kill Twinkle after the union that will force Yuvi to tell Surjeet about her. I think one month is a good enough time for the two tracks to run and TEI ending on a happy and high note.

I would rather the show ends at a high note with the promised happy endings then drag on like bubblegum and lose its essence. TEI typically takes two weeks at max in every track so these track can be properly paced without rushing through.

Personally o was already planning on quitting the show after the reunion and SR because there's not much to the story left after Kunj and Twinkles Union. The main point of the story was Twinkles journey of finding true love and settling down and with the union that will be accomplished. I think Sodhant leaving can really help in the show closing down at the right moment with much fan fare. It'll also mark a successful run of almost a year and Zee TV's first show being successful in right means.

I would urge the people trending to try to get the show end at a positive note rather then retain Sodhant as Kunj because Sidhant as an actor deserves better then what Tashan e Ishq has offered him besides visibility.

Speechless but I agree they should end on a high not after wrapping up the tracks.

I agree you with you, Areeba
I think a happy ending for Twinj will be the right thing for trending. The show has been very interesting and should be completed with a happy note.

Let's hope we will see Sidhant, Jasmine and Zain in much nicer projects

i agree the show's gone down the drain with the story but i still feel like it's a bit unprof of him to quit a show that's the reason he's known
i wish the rest of the cast and crew all the best with the show, idk if they'll end it because it's a relatively new show but if they end it on a positive note with twinj reunion i'd be happy but i'd also be sad and quite frankly a bit annoyed because that would mean that because of his decision so many ppl are gonna be laid off of jobs and that's not fair to the cast and crew
i also wish sid all the best, he is an amazing actor and he deserves all the success and deserves great projects to work on and i know he is going to achieve great heights of success
and i wish the TEI cast good luck and all the best too and i hope they can make the most out of the situation

I have no idea how to feel about your stance on this issue. I can only provide my own opinion, which is that i really want sid to stay and i was actually looking forward to the separation track/post leap track as i wanted to see how the characters of kunj, twinkle and zain would fare. I really feel there would be more scope to kunj's character in the post leap track, hence my disappointment on this news. I still feel it isn't fully confirmed news yet though as even if the TOI article is true the statement apparently provided by sid doesn't confirm he IS leaving but rather he might as he got a good offer and it is understandable if the production house tries to retain him!

i am still not believing it but if Sid is leaving they should end on a high note. I know it might be unfair to other people in the show especially Jasmin but the show honestly has no future without SidMin as twinj.
unless they want to make it like another crappy never ending show.
But like i can't believe this.I am really hoping i wake up tomorrow morning and realise this was all just a dream.
But then i would never blame Sid for it. I get he got all the fame and love from this show but then anyone of us would do the same if we got better offers in our jobs. And he has all the rights to choose whats best for him even if i am seriously disappointed about it.

you know what would be nice if they gave a happy ending to twinj and did a TEI s2 with mahiraj's story
or even if not mahiraj maybe they could do a s2 with jas and zain and have a fresh concept that way the actors wouldn't be outta jobs

Ok so my first thoughts may have been severely clouded by the disappointment and my poor achy breaky heart which I actually have, can you believe?

Areeba I kind of agree with you. I'm pretty sure it's not news that were all literally sticking around for the SR and Twinjs reunion in the correct sense, but I probably wouldve continued watching for the romance because well you know, fan girl in me can't help it.

I won't be as disappointed if they concluded Twinjs story. I think I was more disheartened at the possibilty of a dead end for Kunj and Twinkles love story, the possibilty of there not being a happy ending for them is heartbreaking because they are meant to be!

But yes I'd rather they wrap up the show on a good note so that I can rewatch the whole show when I want quite happily without dying of boredom at the elongated tracks after Kunj's exit. But these are my own selfish reasons.

Still feel bad for Zain and Jas though. I think my Zidmin heart hurts more. My trio 🥺

I beg to differ with you slightly here, sorry. Of course the Twinj fan in me would rather have the show end on a happy note so I could see my babies together in a relationship they haven't been able to stabilize yet. I would love to see the show end with SidMin instead of the writers get someone else to replace him because for me personally SidMin and Twinj are the end game for this show and no new member will be able fit the spot.

However, it's a little selfish of me to think that way. This show is not just about Sidhant. He may be the powerhouse of TEI, but there are many other actors that are somewhat, if not equally, involved with this show. Not just actors, the crew that works behind the scene put in immense amount of effort into this show. It's bread and butter for all and having a show end because of one actor quitting is absolutely unfair to the rest. At the end of the day they are all there to make a living and taking that away from them for one actor is unreasonable and unjust.

I really hope the CVs can come up with an engaging storyline post Sid's exit to keep the viewers intact. I may be contradicting myself but yes I may be one of those who may not continue to watch the show regularly. I don't live in India so me watching it or not really doesn't make much of a difference on viewership or trps. I may catch up here and there. But I hope whatever the decision is, it's made keeping Jas, Zain and the rest of the cast and crew in mind.
