Ok ladies ,
here is my example dance for Rajatz Baliye dance competition....
This dance was originally designed for 19 girls by sister and me....but I took the solo girl's part and made it into a one person dance for this competition....
Ok so here is the format I want you ladies to follow and also include which type of danceform you are good at so we know what to give you in the 2nd round.
Name: Mansi (miraclemun)
My choice: I have been trained to do Odissi and Kathak dance forms but I like to do more freestyle dancing. My favorite dance forms are Rajasthani folkdance, Garba, and I also dance to filmi songs. Also, to an extent I can do Bhangra, and a little bit of Spanish and Latino dances.
Round 1 dance choice: Ghoomar Re from the movie Chup chup ke
Costume: Party lehenga...the song is festive therefore I will wear some heavy and expensive lehenga. Preferably the a shade of pink or blue lehenga...a contrast colored dupatta on my head...
Jewelry: a sparkling diamond imitation tikka,
pink, blue, or silver bracelets...
silver payal
a choker set that matches the color of my dress
a designer bindi
a ring nose ring (the type that sanniya mirza wears, dont know what its called)
makeup: eyeshadow matching my dress, light red blush, and mascara (that's about the only makeup I will ever wear, I hate makeup, esp. foundation)
Props: none in my dance (you can include if you want to)
Dance setup: (sorry I didnt name my steps when I made them up...but just try to imagine)
If you can explain your dance steps, you will be given extra points...my dance is too hard to explain....and putting videos of myself or pictures of myself on here is not allowed...
But just use your imagination when you create your dances...and yes, you will also be given a question to answer regarding dance or PRC....so also effectively answer the trivia question....
I will Pm all the contestants this sample dance....PM me if I did not give you this info....
Competition starts Monday....I will start another thread regarding the first part of contest......and PM me all your answers and I will post them after all the judges give the results....Thanks Ladies...

and its not hard at all, once you try to do it....you have a week to prepare your dance, and that is more than enough time.
Competition starts on Monday the 26th of November and all the answers are due to me by Monday dec. 3rd....
and please do another song...not the same one I did....pick your favorite song and perform to it...
