Hold me brother - my heart is broken
Yes, Rishi is heart broken. At this point the only people who understand what he is going through are UVPreet. UVPreet are his brothers - they know his secrets and protect him both from himself and others and will do anything for him.
Right now Rishi is hurt and angry. He cannot believe that he was made a fool by Pawan, Saloni and Pawan's parents. He cannot believe that Tanu is falling for Saloni's story and acting like Savitri-n-Sukpal's bahu. But more importantly he cannot believe that he has lost Tanu to Pawan!
The only person right now who (in my opinion) can think coolly and get Rishi out of this mess is UV. I missed him in today's episode. UV is more mature and wiser of the 3 brothers. He is a thinker, a planner, and works to achieve positive results. I wish they would show ManShi sharing the little oddities that they have experienced with Chachi-n-Chacha with him. I wish Rishi would share with him the details of the fire incident and his subsequent conversation with Neha. Perhaps he has, perhaps he has not. I am banking on the 3 brothers to pull Rishi out of this wreck.
Considering that Tanu is acting like Savitri-n-Sukpal's bahu and has decided to marry Pawan. I personally do not see any reason for Rishi to hang around and watch Tanu get married to another man. He has two options. One option would be to do something about the situation. This would involve UVManShi putting their heads together and digging up more info about Saloni-Pawan ka rishta. Or stumbling upon Chachi's secrets. The second option would be to decide to put more pressure on Tanu by having Rishi go back to USA. Raj too wants Rishi out of the way because Rano is forever hinting that there is something going on between (real) Tanu (Tanvi) and Rishi and he wants to ensure that Rishi only marries (fake) Tanu (or Neha who he believes to be Vir's daughter).
Tanu today - is being agreeable to the wedding because she wants to please Raj (yes, Tanu is a people-pleaser) who is now her father-figure! And then there is the fake letter that Chachi produced written by her father asking Bani to find a suitable partner for Tanu. So Tanu is in "pleasing" her father mode. In addition, she wants to appease Pawan and his family because she thinks they were humiliated and insulted. And do not forget the FD that Kuljeet broke in order to pay for Tanu's marriage expenses. So all in all, Tanu is doing what people and society expect her to do - marry Pawan.
When all of the sagaii commotion calms down and Tanu is alone by herself in moonlight, Tanu will remember Rishi, the person she loves. She will remember how broken Rishi is, how unbearable the pain is for him, and how lost he is without her. She will then experience the same emotions as Rishi. Unlike Rishi, Tanu has no one to offer her support, comfort, and advise. Tanu will find the pain unbearable and may decide to run away rather than get married to Pawan!
One of the spoilers did say that Tanu will run away after her sagaii and indeed that very well might happen. Everything will come to a fervent pitch then. The only person who will seek and find Tanu will be Rishi! Will Tanu then finally decide to break her sagaii with Pawan?
In any event - Maha Episodes are supposed to be high in drama and content introducing new twists and turns. The CVs will definitely not air a poorly etched maha episode that will put a dip in the climbing TRP. So, I am expecting Tanu's sagaii to break either by Pawan being exposed, pressure being put on Tanu by Rishi's decision to go back to the US, or Tanu realizing that her decision to marry Pawan is wrong and running away from it all!
PS: I do not expect Chachi to be exposed in this maha episode!
