Nandini's POV.
"so Nandu, now tell us...what were you planning on to talk about?" Navya said as she brought a tray full of goodies and 4 cups of coffee and placed in front of us.
We were sitting in a circle and all eyes on me while my eyes full with determination to talk about it.
Deep breaths!
"okay, so guys... There's like a huge bundle of secrets stored in my stomach for about 10 years now... And apart from me, no one knows anything about it... or maybe a few do...but that doesn't really matter. Ok. I could have suppressed it in me for longer had I not met you guys yet. But, now it feels like a burden too heavy to carry." I took a pause and then continued. "trust me, you guys are the most trustworthy people of my life and no one can replace you ever. No matter how far I am from you guys. You have been my favourite bundle to joy and always stood beside me after all the betrayals and hardships I was caused by my past friends... including Manik. You know, I just want you guys to listen. Only listen. Here me out once so that I can feel relief by sharing my heart and then bury this topic here itself. In this room! All I want from you guys is that you will only listen and not drag this convo anymore. You are not gonna go into all that joshila mode *chuckles* and start fighting or arguing with the person related to this issue. Neither are you guys gonna discuss any of this with your boyfriends... Here me out loud and clear on that! Ok?"
"yes, meri jaan PROMISE! Itni badi speech di 'Rules and Regulations' pe, ab baat bhi bata de." Mukti said encouragingly.
"yeah!" sh*t...this is 10 times difficult than I thought. But anyway, head on.
"first of all... Ryan is not my Fianc!!"
"W. H. A. T.??!!"
"wwhhaatt??!!"
"whaaat??!"
"guys, aaram se. Teen alag alag reactions kyun?" ohh god! These girls have gone nuts already. How will they react to the upcoming?
"haan...woh mera boyfriend zaroor hai but he's not my Fianc. Uss din Manik ko dekh kar main thodi shock main thi...isliye I just blabbered unknowingly. Sorry! "
"you are sick in your head Nandini! Buddhu kahin ki!! Koi aise apne friends ko shock deta hai kya??" Alya told me and I could clearly decipher the stern accent in her voice.
"anyway, continue Nandini!"
"ok...so, mere school chhodne ka sabse bada reason... Apart from my parents' wish...was Manik! Aur Manik aur Soha relationship mein hai...it wasn't a doubt! I... umm I... already had... a confirmation... regarding this!"
This is getting harder with every passing moment. But... No Nandini!!! You have to speak up...No matter what!
"Nandini, I can sense the discomfort in you while talking. But please Nandini... This is getting messy. Please, tell us everything. We want to know. You don't have to be nervous around us. Just trust us and pour your heart out. Tell is clearly ki uss din school mein hua kya tha? Tum achanak kahan chali gayi thi? And iss sab baat se Manik kaise related hai??"
You are the best Mukti. The bestfriend anyone can ever have. You exactly know how to handle a person. Huff!
" uss din, jab Abhi ne tujhe propose kiya tha, I was really happy. Genuinely! I was elated ki my chotu elephanti 😉😆 had grown into such a beauty that now other guys craved for her. My better half (as people called us in school) had found her better half! 😊😊
But mujhe uss din kisi bhi halat mein Manik se baat karni thi. Kyunki that was the last option I had before I left. Main tum logon ko apni depressing baaton mein involve nhi karna chahti thi. You all were so happy, so I quietly sneaked out and headed to his class to talk. Aur meri baat hui bhi.!!! Aur nhi bhi!!

~FLASHBACK~
After witnessing the cute moment between the new couple and her bestfriends, obviously, she moved out of the class.
"There is clearly no doubt in my mind regarding my feelings now. This has been going on since almost 4 years now so it just can't be a crush or an infatuation! Mujhe farak nhi padta Manik ki tum mujhse pyaar karte ho ya nhi but one thing that is clear is that you're ignoring me purposely. You are pushing me away adamantly. And the one thing I know is that I love you. Bas aaj iss question ka answer dedena. That's all I want from you. Just say a yes or a no! And then I'll leave. Forever! Without troubling anyone."
Nandini spoke to herself determinedly and the moment she stood infront of his class, she saw a huge crowd gathered. She tried asking the reason for such a crowd but nobody answered. Failing in her attempt, she pushed through the crowd and noticed that actually, something was going on inside the classroom and all the students were crowding the gate completely. She even saw Harshad and Aryaman standing there but she could not see Manik or Soha.
A kind of a fear engulfed her but as she finally made her way to the door of the classroom, she was stopped by a pair of hands.
"what are you doing here, miss not so popular??!!"
"Harshad! Plzz not now! I'm just looking for Manik! Could you help me?"
"and why do you think we'll help you??" Aryaman came forward. Obviously, attitude dripping from his soothing, heart warming words. *sarcasm*
"plzz Aryaman! I've never been rude to you then what's your problem? Why do guys always have to be after my neck??
Anyway, it's pointless explaining things to you! Now, move! I need to look for Manik."
As she was about to move further, she was again stopped by the two.
"Back off guys! The show is over now, MOVE!!"
Harshad roared to the crowd who were still busy crowding over the gate to get the glimpses of the HAPPENING!
"and you miss poor face!!...you too back off. Manik doesn't want to talk to you. He's busy!"
"first of all...mind your language Harshad. I'm not your servant here who will listen to whatever your shitty mouth squeaks. All I'm asking is just tell me, for once, where Manik..."
And her words came to an ubrupt halt as her focus shifted from Harshad to the room where she saw what she did not expect even in her wildest dreams!!!
She saw Manik knelt down on his one knee before Soha and both of them smiling at each other. Then he got up and the duo hugged each other as tight as possible.
"Enjoyed the show, Nandini??!! I told you right, he's busy. Maine bola tha par tumhe apni beizzati khud hi karani thi. Satisfied?? So MOVE!!"
Harshad roared into her face and this brought her out of the shock phase she zoned into.
"Harshad, please... Try and understand I mean no harm to you guys. Please let me talk to Manik once." Nandini said in a meek voice but was cut down by Soha's appearance.
"and why do you think Manik will talk to you??"
"Soha... Please..." she was trying to convince her when she saw Manik coming out of the classroom after her and she could merely whisper in his presence.
"...Manik..."
"what are you doing here, Nandini?" Manik asked in an authoritive tone.
"Manik please ek minute. I won't take long. Please listen to me once. Bas ek minute."
"tumhe ek baat samajh mein nhi aati hai Nandini?? Uska ek ek minute bhi precious hai. And it is only reserved for HIS friends and HIS GIRLFRIEND. He doesn't have time for a poor face like you!" Soha said to her in a mocking tone. All illiterates that they were...no manners at all!
"Soha, I've never been rude to you so you too please stay in your limits. Mind your language or else..." Nandini tried warning her and defended herself with full force. After all she too had a self respect.
"And you mind your language Nandini! In logon ne keh diya na ki mujhe tumse baat nhi karni.
SO LEAVE!" Cutting down her in the middle Manik spoke loudly... And dismissed her...but all this while, not for once did he look into her eyes.
"I'm sorry...Bye" she whispered and left, slight tears brimming in her eyes.
Nandini had never imagined in her wildest dreams to ever confront such a hissy fit side of Manik who could turn this violent and aggressive that too with Nandini.
That day, Manik had finally managed to kill out all of her hopes and made her believe that her Manik is never gonna return and that the 'wait' is never gonna end.
~Flashback ends~
After Nandini had finished speaking, there was a moment of silence in the room. No one uttered anything and that's when handling this awkward situation, Nandini spoke up.
"so guys, that was all. And one more thing that I did not share this with you guys to burden up or stress you guys. Neither I have any intentions to influence you against Manik. I've forgiven him already. So no need to ponder over that now. And am happy that he's with the right people now. So just forget all that I just said now. I'm feeling good. Thanxx"
The trio only smiled on witnessing this selfless nature of their Nanz, Nandu, Nandini!
"one more thing guys... Did you guys...tell..." Nandini asked hesitantly but she could not even complete her qusestion when Mukti spoke.
"Nanz, do you trust us?"
"huuh...?? Is that even a question Muku?? Hell yeah!"
"then?? Do you think we would have disclosed something very personal to you?" she stated with an 'isn't that too obvious' expression and Nandini looked at them with a sheepish look.
"Nandini, you and Manik both are an immensely important part of our lives. And we have separate promises and commitments made to both of you...and they will remain exclusively to you until you or Manik decide to share. We atleast give that much space to our friends!! Haina?!" Alya explained to her politely...
And in the next moment all the girls were hugging and enjoying the rest of the day they had to themselves. 'Girls just wanna have fun!!'
"I so love you guys!!" Nandini exclaimed and their little kitty party went on!

So guys...I'm extremely sorry for being this late. But I was really decked up. I tried writing but couldn't pen down anything good because of soo much stress. Now that finally my exams are over. I'm free. And I'll try my best to update daily!
There was more in this chappy but I thought to give you atleast this much for the time being till I return with the (B) part of this chapter.
