Dev seemed like an angry young man, when the show began. The usual khadoos' and rude and obnoxious man, like most shows have these days.
But, Dev Dixit is a character which is layered. He is a man, with feelings, he doesn't claim to be heartless, in fact, every act of his, are an inkling to the tender heart caged inside him.
He isn't just a workaholic businessman, he is also a man, who smiles, who laughs, who cries, who dances, who regrets, who is dumbfounded, who is silent, and who is talkative, who is accommodative but adamant. Dev is the most amazing depiction of a normal human being, with likes and dislikes, contrasting and contradicting. With fleeting emotions, and inexpensive but invaluable tastes, Dev Dixit is not a man to ape, he is a man to revere to.
He is confused, while clarity and rationality are his strengths, he is guilty, when he is never sorry.
The world that proclaims his love for his mother, that borders on worship, doesn't realize this love isn't blinded. Dev is acquainted with his mother's mistakes with his sister, and atones for them, in his own twisted way, never once, pointing fingers at his mother.
Respectful, and sweet, dynamic, and vibrant, Dev Dixit is someone Sonakshi cannot stop herself from loving.

There is no such thing as a normal Indian girl' anymore, and Sonakshi Bose stands out as an inspiration for this fact. Bold, and beautiful, she is a Bengali beauty, not to be messed with. A nutritionist, by profession, she goes that extra mile, for her patients, sometimes even spying on them.
Her respect for herself, makes everyone around her respect her. Sonakshi's sense of responsibility and commitment truly make her stand out among the crowd.
Her ability to weave her nutritious work with her patients' feelings make her the best in her profession.
She isn't the quintessential Shakespearean heroine, with love for the world, but she is a confident and self-assured woman who is in agreement with who she is and what she wants to be. She has her faults and she accepts them.
She turns to her father for advice, but decides independently. She falls in love, she weeps for its seeming loss, accepts it one day, regrets the same the next day. But, that's Sonakshi for you, as capricious as can be.
