A model turned a c t r e s s, this young stunner has managed to hook the audience with her awe-worthy screen presence and b r i l l i a n t a c t i n g skills. Her Television debut as Sonakshi in K u c h Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been grabbing rave reviews all around.

Demure, elegant, practical and realistic, her onscreen character S o n a k s h i is almost as close to her off-screen persona as can be.

E r i c a F e r n a n d e sis an Indian actress who has appreared in South Indian and Hindi movies. She was born onM a y 7 1 9 9 3 in Manglore in a Konkani family and brought up in Mumbai. Having studied in Holy Cross High School and SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, she dropped out of college to pursue her modelling career.

Erica started her m o d e l i n g career at the age of seventeen with B -Blunt Salon. She has notably won p a g e a n t s such as the Bombay Times Fresh Face 2010, Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face 2011, Pantaloons Femina M i s s M a h a r a s h t r a 2011 and was a finalist in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012.

Erica made her film debut in 2 0 1 3 with the Tamil romantic action movie Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu opposite Bharat. She also acted in Virattu/Dega, a Tamil and Telungu bilingual thriller and Ninnindale which was her maiden venture in Sandalwood opposite Puneet Rajkumar. Her first Hindi and Telugu releases were Babloo Happy Hai and Galipatam respectively.

Erica is currently portraying S o n a k s h i B o s e, in her debut TV venture Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. She opted for the project as she found it realistic and relatable.
