Can't tell them to go and consult a psychiatrist because they only believe in jantar mantar jaadu and tona. Go and meet some pandit jee and ask him to do pooja for sadbuddhi and peace of mind.

If they weren't mentally unstable ... I'd recommend them a psychiatrist.
