Hi everyone,
This is my first post on the Gangaa forum so apologies if I offend any die-hard fans.
I never watched Gangaa from the start, I saw the odd episode here and there but when I realised they were finally going to do a time leap I was really excited. I love romantic story lines, especially when it's about two people meeting after a long time (absence makes the heart grow fonder and all). My first impressions: omg grown-up Gangaa was in Ladies VS Ricky Bahl and urghhh at Sagar's over-excited-ness.
I almost gave up when I realised how soppy Gangaa's daydreams were, when Jhanvi became a more important character than necessary but I never disliked that Sagar wasn't in love with Gangaa. I thought it was realistic and expected of a guy in his early twenties. Why would he be in love with his childhood friend? He had not seen her in years and remembered her as just that - a childhood friend. But his loyalty to her was there and that's when I reliased this would be the platform for his love to grow. When Sagar finally confessed, I thought it was a bit sudden still however; all that came afterwards up until now - his deewanapan, his obsession, his passion is just what I love.
Everyone on the forum keeps talking about how their characters have been ruined but they are no longer children! They are adults with real feelings, sometimes there is no point looking back on childhood things because you were innocent and unknowing. Now there is meaning and hidden agenda in everything. Sagar cannot bear to think of Gangaa with Palash because he knows what it is to be a man and to desire a woman, to desire Gangaa. If Sagar can touch Gangaa's soul 'bina chu ye' he must want to touch her COME ON PEOPLE, NO POINT BEING SHY. So his outburst at Palah's house is justified. he has never felt this much for a girl, not even for Jhanvi and now he can appreciate the importance of their relationship because of their childhood bond. He feels so deeply and knows he has messed their lives up by marrying Jhanvi.
The only thing I am disliking is the fact that Jhanvi is supposedly going to die? I kind of feel bad for her and when will everyone find out all the things she did to Gangaa?? Is this all supposed to lead to another court case?? 😕
Either way, I can see why Sagar thinks Palash will be good for Gangaa. I like Palash, he is a dependable man who can love Gangaa, maybe not in the same way as Sagar but I would like to see something develop there but for the marriage not to happen. It would be horrible if she were to move on. Unless they do a Kahiin to Hoga kind of thing and Palash dies and by then Gangaa is in love with him and will need Sagar to move on.
In regards to the Chaturvedis, I think Gangaa does have aatma samaan but wish she could be living somewhere else.
Lastly, where is Supriya and how did her and Pulkit's relationship move so fast that there's even a grandchild on the way?!
