" Uh-Oh-Ok," managed to utter Arnav while looking at Khushi in an embarrassed manner because she surely didn't want to reveal details about her beautiful days to him and he forced her to do it.

The cloud of embarrassment burst out to give the storms of seriousness.

"She tried every single way, went out of her way. The Khushi Gupta who never faced rejection, who never asked anyone for anything, who never bowed her head in front of anyone faced insults, rejection, accusations with a humility which would put anyone to shame. And what did I do? Instead of noticing how much she changed herself for me, how much she transformed herself into me, I pushed her to her breaking point. How will I ever be able to take away the pain I gave her?"

Arnav's thoughts recollected every single scar which he gave to Khushi as she eyed him with a look which he never wanted to see in her eyes: a look of defeat. Though she covered that look as fast as she could, it didn't escape the observant eyes of Arnav, who seemed to break as every piece of her heart which he broke, came hurling back to him.

" You can leave, Mr.Raizada." Arnav snapped out of his reverie as Khushi's cold voice threatened to freeze his brain cells with a lack of compassion in it.

" I will, if you tell you will accompany me." Khushi threw a look of mockery at Arnav while Arnav's determination failed to quaver though his heart cringed as it noticed the changes he had brought upon in his love.

" Seriously? You think after YOU accuse me to be characterless, I would return back to you? There is a limit for expecting things, Mr.Raizada. And your toe seems to land on the other side of the limit." Her sarcastic voice managed to evoke chills and shivers throughout his body and he suddenly felt it wouldn't be long before his body collapses in front of her, owing the emotional storm brewing inside him.

" What do you want me to do to show that I am sorry enough, Khushi? I am sure, a mere sorry is neither what you want nor what is suffice. I swear I will do whatever you ask but please don't ask me to leave you. I cannot do that." Khushi shot him a blank look while he hoped to see a glint of something in her dazed eyes, even if it was of anger but a blank look which prevailed in her eyes created a void in his heart which he couldn't erase no matter what.

" Ironical, isn't it Mr.Raizada? A few days back, you wanted me out of your life with a desperation which equaled to your own today but quite surprisingly this time you want me back in your life. What do you think of me? A doll whom you can bring back in your life when you want and throw it when you feel like? I am sorry to remind you that I am a human, with feelings. Not a humanoid as you may feel. Aur Kis Haq Se Kuch Poochoon Main Aapse? Ham Tho Aapko Fasane Waali Hain Na?" The tears she had controlled with seamless perfection throughout the meet managed to escape her eyes and douse the fire of fury waltzing on her cheeks as fire burned in her, fire burned her.

" I was a jerk, a stupid idiot, a git and everything sans-brain. I didn't mean any of those nonsensical things I have accused-"

" You seemed to be pretty serious when you said them, Mr.Raizada.." Khushi shot a defiant look at Arnav who wanted to break down completely. Only if he didn't have to placate her.

" I am dead serious now, Khushi. I want to undo my every wrong deed. And I want to know how. Please." That look of defeat and vulnerability in his eyes did what millions of words wouldn't be able to: Khushi found herself feeling bad for the person who gave her a treatment worse than this and her heart urged her to give him a chance, defying the demands of her disconsolate mind.

And when it came to Arnav, it was the word of her heart which always prevailed. To make it or break it, it was always the decisions of her heart in their relationship that prevailed. Taking in a deep sigh in a weak try to control the fire that was consuming her from within, Khushi landed on a conclusion; the one that her heart wanted.

" Convince my parents that you are worthy of me, Arnav. The last time I went against them and came to you, ignoring the hurt they were bearing that their daughter went to someone who forcibly married her for revenge. But this time, you will have to convince not just me but even them about your love for me. Is it fine with you, Mr.Raizada?" Khushi knew what broke in her to give out the business-like tone through her vocal cords and Arnav knew what broke in him to hear it.

" Sure, Khushi. If this is what you want then sure. I will convince you, Uncle and Aunty and everyone you want me. But will I be able to make you love me back like you did?" Khushi who was staring at the floor in order to not lose control over herself, found herself staring right into his caramel orbs after his question.

He cared for her?

" I don't know. I seriously don't. But maybe my heart wants it and with you, it is my heart to whom I listen. Don't keep your hopes too high just like I am not raising them. For all you should be knowing, my heart can warn me against you too, Arnav. And you will have to erase every single scar on me, if you don't want that to happen. If this helps, I don't hate you." A feeling of triumph spread through Arnav's body as he heard her confession of not hating him and a smile played on his lips for the first time in ages.

" And I will erase them, no matter what it takes, Khushi."

Only if she could flung herself in his arms like the only refuge in the raging storm. Only if he could erase every distrust of her towards him which seemed to bite off parts of him everytime he heard about.

Two pairs of eyes collided as they sought answers in each other and remained like that as if the time has halted.

Will she see the determination in his eyes to make her his completely?

wonderful update... Khushi has given Arnav a second chance... 😊 waiting to know how Arnav gonna erase Khushi's every scars and replace it with happiness... Loved it... ❤️❤️
