Asit Kumarr Modi: No artist has left "Taarak Mehta Ka..." since inception

t a single artist associated with sitcom "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" has left the show in the last eight years since it began, producer Asit Kumarr Modi said today.

The show, featuring popular characters like "Jetha", "Daya", "Tarak", "Anjali" , "Bapuji" among others, is aired on Sab TV, and has completed over 1,900 episodes in the last eight years.

"My team, which is like a family has created a world record by producing over 1,900 episodes of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' uninterrupted in last 8 years," Modi told reporters here.

Artists Munmun Dutta, who essays the role of 'Babita' and Tanuj Mahashadbe, who plays 'Mr Iyer', were present on the occasion.

"To my knowledge, never before such numbers of episodes of a serial have been produced. The crew's specialty is that it works like a family. The same team worked in the first episode which is acting together now," he added.

"No artist of our team has left 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' since its inception." According to Modi, he gives the artists a favourable atmosphere to work.

Munmun said their team was getting along well as nobody had any ego hassle.

Chal jhoote! Sodhi left ur show first and then came back.

And u threw Jennifer out of ur show because she got pregnant.

Now I understand why GD society members always do phekam phek,when the producer is such a big phekuchand then uske show ke characters toh pheku honge hi.

And what about Jheel Metha - the original Sonu. I guess Asit Modi does not consider anyone but the main stars - Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani as the ones that have stayed throughout.

Many Artists have also left and few came back as well..but just going gaga about 1900 episodes...Producer sahab what about the quality of the show that has already gone the drain??

Episode ke last mein Taraak Mehta hamesha khete hain..aap haste rahiye..dekhte rahiye Taraak Mehta ka ulta Chashmaa..

Sir jee Kahan hai Hasee?? yehi sub se baada sawal hai??

He doesn't care about the quality as long as the trps are good.All it matters to him is how to make his show the longest running show on television.

🤣-both roshan(old) where male left due to some problems and female was told to go due to her pregnancy

🤣🤣-replaced male roshan though he was a replacement but he is an ARIST!

🤣🤣🤣-i guess now no one would remember now but there was one more couple too in the beginning (i don't remember their caste in the show but the man used to be shares business,hardly for 20 episodes in the beginning one can refer to the initial episodes where bapuji gets a new cell phone) his wife used to wear saree with pallu and he used to apply oil on his head and wear some grey colour type faded clothes.I don't remember their name too.
