I had underestimated the amount of intensity that would go into the last phase of this track. I was very very sure that the marriage on't be taking place but I believe it was my personal bias for TWINJ speaking.
The episodes marked us towards the transition that has started the "dance-off" or as the writers have eloquently decide to infuse, Tandava between Yuvraj, Twinkle and Kunj. Every player in this last phase of the war is present with a motive and a purpose to prove. For Twinkle and Yuvraj, the war has begun to reach justice for themselves. In his own mind, Yuvraj is a hero who deserves Twinkle regardless of the fact that he has not been granted consent by Twinkle.
The episode had some defining moments in how the next track will play out in allowing Kunj and Twinkle to unify because of their love. Previously, Kunj and Twinkle had used the leaning wall of their marriage to come closer to each other and allowed their blooming feelings to surface because hey were protected by the bond of marriage however in order to completely unify as one, they have to prove by fighting for each other. The tracks altogether are to test Kunj's patience and his ability to stand up for Twinkle as a person he is deeply in love with instead of her as his wife.
Saturday's episode started out with Leela telling her bodyguards to make sure that Yuvraj or any other imposter for that matter doesn't go past the gates of the Sarna Mansion. However Leela's attempt at protecting the boundaries are futile because just yesterday when she willingly left the premises of Kung-Twinkle's bedroom, she handed over the position of guardian back to Kunj and allowed him back into the war permanently. Twinkle also complied later on when she promised to tell him the truth reflecting on how she won't let Kunj or Mahi become a casualty in her war against Yuvi by allowing both of these individuals back in on her own terms.
Yuvi enters the mansion by putting himself into an empty drum which is carried in by Cherry. Yuvi had constantly been using disguises since he's visited the hospital because of his dependance upon the Tanejas. His entrance into the Sarna mansion through eh drum instead of using a disguise indicated him waging this last attack by firing a bullet from the back and which he does by wearing a sehra and acting as an imposter. Another thing that comes to light through use of empty containers and drums is that Yuvraj is left of nothing but his shell. Yuvraj's personality and his thoughts no longer have depth that a normal person experiences but he has been burnt so much in fire of revenge since his adolescence that the only thing driving him is his ego and his obsession.
Cherry and Bebe direct the drum upstairs while Usha worries at the extra materials coming in and how they are not really needed. Usha and Manohar's reaction upon introduction of Anita as Surjeet's wife was just as same because they both have been witness of the Luthras falling to pity tricks to humiliate Tanejas. While Usha wasn't fond of Taneja's particularly, she wasn't fond of Anita either especially since her son has repeatedly targeted her own son. However Cherry had been vocal for his support for Luthras because anything that is despised by Manohar's family is extremely important to Surjeet's family on basis of tussle of pride and wealth. Cherry carries the drum upstairs reflecting how he had stood up for Anita in past and that will come back to bite him with the revelation of Anita using his father as a pawn to get to Twinkle. > The scene also laid a concrete foundation for Usha to officially enter into the war between the mothers of the family on behalf of her own son.
Twinkle calls up Kunj and worries at him not reaching home yet. Her mind at this point is so much preoccupied the stunt that Yuvraj might pull and that Kunj need to be safe at all costs that she is not paying attention to her own gut instincts by brushing everything under the same rug. She points at the time, 7:30 saying that Kunj needs to present in homes at this point.
The time of seven indicates that the next chapter has started from the continuation of previous number which is six. Yuvraj previously in friday's episode upon kidnapping Kunj calls out the time as 6 and I had explained the significance of number 6. It's the most human number and as widely known for it's satanic and negative connotations with sins and evil. Twinkle calling out the time as 7:30 along with calling Kunj to see if he has reached signified her calling onto Kunj to attack. 30 minutes in time added along with the hour indicate how the chapter is halfway through progress and when Twinkle calls, although it is not Kunj who picks up his own phone, Kunj is on his way to take his place by Twinkle as he had promised by willingly entering into the War of Love between Yuvraj and Twinkle by freeing himself from the knots of deceit and pretense tied to him by Yuvraj and by taking a step out of the boundaries himself by kicking the goons appointed to keep him guard.
Kunj's exit from the place of kidnapping to the road indicated him breaking the rules as well from heron now. Kunj is a reflection of Lord Shiva and his role as the Lord of creation and destruction has now begun with full force. This track here on and the future tracks tied to the outcome of this track will focus on Kunj fulfilling his role as a protector.
Yuvraj being in Twinkle and Kunj's room while they both were away and having Kunj's phone in his hand indicated him going to cut off communication between the two however he enters an empty room with the phone in his hand. I'm not gong to quote but if you all remember my "forbidden fruit" analogy I mentioned in EP 200, you would understand that from this point on, Yuvraj has broken the boundaries of mortality as well and is pushing those boundaries to his own benefit. Yuvraj entered the bedroom, the most intimate place for a couple and by doing so, he has unintentionally placed himself into danger of the self-destruction of the only thing he has left. His hollowed pride and ego.
Yuvraj's attacks had crossed boundaries of right and wrong in the most intimate sense. He was;t violent this time in his attack on Twinkle. He didn't force her but he betrayed her in the most brutal sense by insulting everything her life depended upon. Later on, Twinkle points at the time again before leaving the Taneja mansion as 8:30, indicating the implementation of a new trail and being half way across the trial. Leela assures her that everything will end well and so it will at the end of wrath Yuvraj will face by Kunj and Twinkle respectively. < On other end, Yuvi is backing away from Usha and Bebe at the impositions he could be facing if his facade is blown before the moment of attack. The dance through which he is welcomed downstairs to the mandap was particularly well done; reflecting on how the dance-off or tandave began in the Sarna household truly with Yuvi's arrival but Yuvraj like before, when he entered in the Sarna mansion using Mahi as a crutch, is again underestimating the relationship of Kunj and Twinkle with each other.
One of the most important thing throughout was that the mandap was set up in the Sarna household instead of Taneja. Twinkle has truly become the daughter of the house. We've seen Leela attacking Anit aback when she spoke up against Kunj while everyone was under the preteens of Mahi being dead and the same has reversed for Twinkle. This attack on her, and her husband has brought the inactive forces in the war to power, isolating Luthras' further on.
Twinkle's entrance into the mansion is marked by her flashback of the past and she remembers only two things precisely which are interesting choices for the moment she is walking in to renew her vows. Her first memory is of when she skipped her date with Yuvraj and instead danced with Kunj and had her first real conversation with him. Ironic how even at that time, Twinkle's mind was completly inclined towards Kunj and she went to the extent of trying to help him out in saving his relationship with Alisha in order to see him happy. The flashback reinstates Kunj and Twinkle realizing on how there feelings for each other started surfacing since the moment they met, by the connection and pull they both felt for each other. The realization has struck Twinkle a bit later then it did with Kunj however. The next instance Twinkle remembers is the complete confession of her and Kunj after Rajjo's wedding and it reinstates in Twinkle's mind her love for Kunj as she walks onto renew her vows because he is not just happy in her relationship with Kunj, Twinkle for the first time is satisfied and content with the person she has chosen to love again.
Behind Twinkle are the members of Sarna family and Leela with the exception of Usha. One of the most defining attributes was Cherry being behind Twinkle directly and then Bebe standing beside him and Ananad on the other side. When Cherry entered the household, he had no problem with Twinkle or Kunj. His problem was Chacha ji, the brother who betrayed another brother however his problem with Kunj and Twinkle began when they both opposed his support of Anita and when he realized that Twinkle was the person who had filed a complaint against him for the car accident. Cherry is the typical msygonistic man of the family who will protect his family against everything and stand by the correct however he will not tolerate a bruise to his ego and pride which is something that runs parallel with both the Luthras. Anita's support of Yuvi, her involvement in Yuvi's plans and her own misgivings have been piling up against her for quite a while and have been brushed under a rug because of Surjeet's absence and her position of being Surjeet's wife.
Cherry being behind Twinkle indicated how he being the financial powerhouse of the family and having more power then Anita in regards to family-decisions by being a 'male', his decision to support Twinkle and Kunj will finally blow to the power Anita and Yuvraj have over the Sarna mansion. His support along with Bebe being being the judge of the war as her position of being head of both the brother's family will provoke and Usha's intolerance at her son's pain will finally make Sarnas an active participant in the war that has till now been Tanejas and Luthras. > Interesting factor though is that the Luthras are bearing the casualty and loses themselves in the bigger picture.
The verses chanted behind Kunj as he runs while deafening the goons that he encounters in middle of the road are "Hari Krishna" and "Mangala Harati". Hari Krishana is recited to remove the illusion of pretenses and lies and in simplest of terms, Kunj's arrival at any point will give a rebirth to Twinkle's form as a fighter in the fight between her and Yuvraj; while the verses from Mangala Harati that were recited depicted Lord Vishnu calling onto Parvati along with Brahama and Shiva in regards to preserve the cosmic energy of the universe back.
>>> When Twinkle came awake from her sleep after she got back home from the prison cell while during Mahi's investigation, she led a challenge to Yuvraj to avenge justice from him for her sister's death. In the particular scene Twinkle's vengeance was reflected in her form of Durga. Goddess Durga was called upon by three deities, Lord Vishnu, Brahama and Lord Shiva when havoc broke out and the only one who could defeat Mahisasura was woman as Mahisasura thought he was invincible and a blow by a woman would be his ultimate defeat. Goddess Durga is a form of Goddess Parvati who is Shiva's wife and the most intense lover of Shiva. I would quote the particular episodic analysis however on being on time constraints, I can only add on that the battle between Mahisasura and Durga was reflection of a man underestimating woman a weakling and having full confidence of overpowering her however is unable to because of the disrespectful behavior he has towards everyone who stands in his way and also because truth and righteousness prevails over the demon. Twinkle successfully avenged Mahi's murder attempt to Yuvi however the battle was won and the War is still going on.
While Goddess Durga wins the battle with Mahisasura, she is attacked on by armies of demons and in anger of seeing the chaos, her form changes and transforms her to Goddess Kali. Goddess Kali is associated with power as she is derived from 'Shakti'. She also signifies the arrival of new time with her powers parallel to Shiva in regards to Preserve and Destruct. Kali is the reflection of timeless form and infinite form of Shiva. The eye on her forhead signifies the destruction of pride and ego and this defeat in this battle against Twinkle, for Yuvi will bring him to the realization of the root cause of his destruction. Kali and Durga are essentially same being as Kali is only an intense version of Durga. Twinkle's walking into the mandir of Goddess Durga signifies how she will continue to be a reflection of power in the next episode.
> Twinkle has defeated Yuvraj at his own game however his constant pushing of boundaries instead of admitting defeat and walking away has angered her and his attack on her relationship with Kunj, something that she cherishes the most in her life as of right now has angered her further on. Upon the revelation of the sehra and Kunj's arrival, Twinkle's world is frozen and the wounds of betrayal from Yuvraj in the worst sense has squished the reason of her existence. The only person to revive her to her full strength is Kunj. While Twinkle herself is capable enough and strong enough to face Yuvraj again and walk away from his clutches, in order to acquire full strength, she needs Kunj by her side and Kunj has passed half of the test by showing up to the mandap, by breaking open the gat-bandhan that two mothers tied and removing Twinkle from Yuvraj's partnership.
Today's episode started highlighted on the revelation of the whole truth and how under blanket of lies, false pretenses and disguises; Yuvi and Anita accomplished a successful attack on Twinkle. For Anita, she can stop or go on in her attacks against Leela however her attack at Leela, and using Twinkle as a pawn to get back to Leela has come to an end. If noted carefully, Anita's twisted mind had somehow held Twinkle responsible for the burning away of Yuvraj's life and his dwindling into his obsession over a girl that he had been faking affection to get revenge. Anita's target has shifted from Leela onto Twinkle, and this time to ruin Twinkle's life instead of getting back at something. Her war with Twinkle will continue onwards because of the blow her son and she herself will suffer with the outcome of the loss.
Charged with happiness of causing destruction and tainting Twinkle's life while she is bounded to someone else let Anita and Yuvraj's lounge loose. Anita's acceptance of accomplishing the destruction she's been trying to cause since years and Yuvi's confession in front of not just family but the world that he had duped Kunj and Twinkle into signing the divorce papers is going to be the ultimate fall of both mother and son.
Today's episode's first half was focused mainly on Bebe's reaction to the whole outcome. Bebe has blessed Anita into the house, she had taken 'kangan' of the house from Twinkle's hands and placed it into Anita's hands upon her arrival and she has allowed Yuvi and Anita to keep up their charade by not barring them however the realization of all has struck her deep and with Twinkle and Kunj preserving their union, the mother-son duo won't be able to stick around in the Sarna mansion for long; putting Twinkle once again a target for Anita to be cause of her losing her family. Anita will lose her shared power with Bebe and her power over Surjeet and Cherry with both standing against her and would be thrown out from the Sarna house and on the other hand, she will lose her son who will despite depending upon her, would become her bitter enemy and expose her reason by berating her over being unsuccessful in getting Twinkle for him as if Twinkle is a toy. Bebe and Usha wouldn't be held back any further with their silence. This time, the son and daughter of the house have been struck right in the middle.
Twinkle meanwhile goes off in search of piecing herself back together. The flashbacks at this point as well are so apt. From the first meeting, to both making pottery, to her obliging to Kunj as a wife, to Kunj saving her and wiping her tears when he needn't need to and just now when she needs him, he cannot be present by her. The song "Jaag Sona Sona" perfectly points at the regret of hiding the truth for longer from Kunj in Twinkle's perspective. Twinkle has strongly held herself responsible for all the crimes Luthras have committed so far which puts her in position of immense regret and guilt for the harm, hurt and pain this fake-wedding has inflicted upon Kunj. Wavering, she finds her way back to the source of strength; her cemented belief in right and wrong and the higher power.
Right after kneeling in front of Goddess Durga, she breaks off the wedding in her own right by pulling the mangulsutre and all the beads of the thread rolling away in the worst way possible.
The Kunj and Twinkle interaction in the mandir was the most genuine and most amazing heart-to-heart between the two. Kunj's disappointment echoed though Twinkle's guilt and regrets when he expressed his own guilt at his failure of not being present when he needed to be present. All Kunj has ever wanted from Twinkle was companionship in every aspect and her hiding the truth, which he understands the reason of and trusts her decision of hiding; lacked the role of a wife he desired her to play and the role of a husband he wanted to play. For Kunj, the traditions are second to the happiness of heart and his pain stems from Twinkle's pain. His own anger at Yuvraj melted away and was cased into pain once he witnessed on Twinkle's face and in her eyes. He puts on the mangalsuture he gave to Twinkle upon their marriage on her neck and asks her for the first time to hold on to their relationship as nothing can separate them. Last time Twinkle's mangalsutre got in a compromising position was when Kunj was on a cold-war with her after she took over Manohar's business and Twinkle blurted out in panic that their marriage is the only thing that has allowed her to hold on to the blooming buds of their relationship. That particular instance invoked a different reaction in Kunj and pushed him to realize Twinkle's position at that time and him handing Twinkle the mangalsutre back was symbolic of the fact that he requires her to hold-on to every pice of there relationship despite the silent lingering complaints and guilt building up in their relationship from both sides.
This track will break away the 'junoon' Yuvi has for Twinkle by crushing it along with his pride and ego. Yuvraj's forceful wedding and Twinkle complying with it will make the game way to easy for Yuvraj however him losing at his own set-up stage and losing the girl he is this close to destroy him in a fire that he will be sitting himself this time.
Kunj's project is still open. While Twinkle saves the bond between her and Kunj by pushing Yuvraj in his own dug well, Kunj will make not be sitting easily either. Kunj will be managing the legal aspect by removing the illusion of separation created by Yuvraj and by letting Yuvraj be answerable to Mahi. Mali's return should be marked by the ending of this week as she is the key that can block Twinkle's pain and allow it to heal.
Another point I wanted to raise before ending is the difference between religious laws and legal laws. In Hinduism and Sikhism, Once you are married to the first person you take uninterrupted pheras with and put sindoor on, you are married to them for next seven lifetimes. Twinkle has been married to Kunj first so she is still bound to him. The legal aspect of divorce came in quite later in India around 1955 when it was introduced. Religiously there isn't a divorce in the religion. The only religions that offer divorce and separation are Judaism and Islam. And since Yuvi has married Mahi and Twinkle, Kunj; the marriage isn't religiously valid but only tainted. Yuvi is the worst and the most vile creature to insult the founding relationship and the most sacred bond however a marriage isn't valid in any religion or legal law without consent.
This track measures Kunj and him being able to win Twinkle just by his love while for Twinkle to rediscover her relationship with Kunj by allowing only love to guide her. Ultimately, this show's title translates into War of Love and Different kinds of Love. The families are messily all tangled into this web and as of now, each family member of the three families has become an active participant. Except RT. That dude is useless.
Sorry for late post. Exams on head but they'll be finishing up soonish by end of this week and I can come back to posting early, two-three hours after episode airs. I hope all of this was' t abrupt. I tried to be thorough. Please leave your thoughts:
